As someone who bought all of the first 6 waves of Super 7's Ultimate TMNT Line, I can safely say that I expect the quality and value of this Dragon Man to be much better than what Super 7 does. I personally wouldn't have blinked at $100 for this and I already have the original Toy Biz F4 Classics version.

For sure! Dude is gonna stand above the Sentinal and Galactus' knees, taller than MODOK, who was 50. DMs wingspan as long as Ghost Riders car. Seriously. Spend what you want, where you want, but I personally don't feel ripped off by this figure. I assumed we'd get an MTO mark up for the exclusivity of it being made for those of us ordering, just like with the Haslabs. So I'm pleasantly surprised by this price seeing as Odin was 60. Blob was alot too, but after I got him, I've never regretted it.

I'm betting this will knock the Toy Biz Dragon Man out as the holy grail of Marvel Legends and drastically lower the value of that figure. I mean, just look at how well this thing is sculpted and articulated and the shear size of it. It is superior in every way to the previous version and a quarter of the price.

As someone who has the original and paid $7.99 for it at retail as a standard release, I'd say they both have their charms. This Hasbro version is more true to the comic incarnation that I'm familiar with and is much taller and has a much larger wingspan, but "thinner" and more spread out. The original was more compact and appeared to have more condensed "heft". Side by side I expect this to look fairly "plain" or "simple" compared to the level of detail in that original figure. Of course the articulation in this new one is far more modern and more "seamless". I'll definitely have room for both in my collection, and I'm someone who generally doesn't like to keep multiple versions of characters. I'm all in on this new version, but there are still some things that I really like about the original. I look forward to the comparison videos next year and I might even do one myself.

Looking real good and the pricepoint ain't too bad. Hoping they use this program to get us a Capcom Sentinel eventually.

Wow they surprised me with that price point , I was sure this was gonna be 100 bucks. I'm definitely putting in my order tonight .

Charge when ship. I was wondering the same thing. If you click on the "more info", or however it's worded, under the initial info it says this at the end.

I kind of liked the charge on the end of pre-order for Haslabs, cause who knows what next year holds,  but maybe they were worried about the dumbest argument against them last year, the " they're gonna invest my money" complaint. Smh. Or maybe they just wanted to distance MTOs as much as they possibly could.

Locked this preorder in without hesitation. Truly an amazing offering at a price point much lower than I think most of us anticipated. Bummed I'll have to wait a year to get it but I'm exited nonetheless! Well done Hasbro!

Here here! I think hasbro really deserves praise for this offering. Glad to see everyone happy with the price and now the possibilities are endless for future big characters!

I wonder if they will shoot us an email or update the page if it gets to the mystery number.  Or if we'll just have to wait till the 17th.  I didn't like not knowing at first, but it takes away the conversation for the haters. No, "look how slow it's selling". But it will also take away the people that will only order if it IS getting made. But I think the way they are doing it takes away a lot of the confusion and misunderstanding about how the former model worked.

I never said the quality was good for S7, I'm just stating that Hasbro's pricing is as nuts as S7's. Funny you mention the old Dragon man cos I sold mine almost triple the price of this one LOL, ah the good ol days
