Marvel Legends Pre-Order Schedule For August 2024, Plus Another Reveal Coming Next Week?!?

I'm so happy to finally see a Wong figure, I',m actually shocked we got a Wong before a Mordo though, But Strange needs more supporting cast and villains, Hasbro needs to be giving us more new characters, Wong is a wonderful addition to ML, I will definetly be getting this set pretty much for Wong and Ghost Dog, but Strange does look really good, but if it was a single release I'd skip it, since I am pretty cool with the recent Strange, however I do really like this one, probably more then the previous figure.

Just making sure I'm not seeing things, this Strange is literally just the Walmart one with a new cape, face and better paintjob correct? It's weird, I'm gonna get this, but am indeed bothered by the lack of new on the Strange.

I'd even say that the "better paint" is subjective as I strongly prefer the Walmart version. I think the only thing I like better on this version is the lighter blue paint on the symbol on his torso to give it more contrast. The walmart version also had effects on the gloves. The flesh color on this version to make him look sick or possessed isn't appealing to me. It's nearly a stand-in for Sinister Strange or Zombie Strange. This 2-pack is all about Wong and Bats for me. I'll likely use the extra Dormammu head to kitbash Doyle Dormammu from Strange Academy and Blood Hunt, though.

No, you are right about the paint. Should've said different, not better. I really like the contrast on the symbol, my only gripe about the WM ex. But, the gloves are a step down. Although plenty of artists go yellow instead of cheetah print, so it's fine imo, just not as cool.

This shouldn't be called a 3-pack. Bats is an accessory

3 pack, what a joke. I can just hear the contempt for the fans from the marketing guys when they came up with that.

Then again, those very fans keep buying this stuff, so really...who can blame the disrespect?

Yeah might as well put "Doctor Strang & Dormammu" on the right side and call it a 4-pack.

Instead of some non-articulated thing like that, why not include the Orb of Agamotto? FaR more associated with Dr. Strange than this.

But this is also why I think Wong will appear again. Maybe a 3 pack with him, classic Clea, and classic Dr. Strange, with an updated head, removable Cloak of Levitation and magical trappings like the Orb.

Because people have actually been asking for Bats. He is now a big part of Dr. Strange's mythos, a part of the 616 versions of the Pet Avengers and is constantly popping in other comics as well. Not to mention, he is a brand new character and that will ALWAYS trump an inanimate accessory.

Also Voodoo is getting the eye as an accessory.

If he's that requested, and a brand new character, then why not make him fully articulated? Not this static thing here. It comes across as cheap and wasteful.

because it's a small dog. What are you expecting? The only articulation they could even made for it is the head. and given that the dog spends most of his time floating, he never rarely uses his limbs.

I personally would have preferred just Wong with Bats, as I have no need for that Dr. Strange at all - but I'm sure that Amazon needed a more well known character to sell it. That's fine, it was still an instant pre-order for me and I'll likely just hawk the Strange on ebay or use him as a replacement for the What If Sinister Strange. The extra Dormammu head can be used to kitbash Doyle. I'm certainly not going to hold my breath waiting for Hasbro to ever do another comic Wong or Clea since it took more than 20 years to get to them in the first place.
