Agreed. I didn't blink when the Mezco 1:12 Lockjaw/Black Bolt was sold a few years ago and I think it was around $150, if I remember correctly. This should be half that, or less. In fairness I think the Mezco version of Lockjaw is far superior (as it should be for the price), but I'll wait until I have this in hand to decide that for myself. I expect that there will be things that I like better about both versions. There wasn't a ton of articulation on the Mezco version but the eyes were exquisite. This Lockjaw seems to be just a bit more articulated, and of course Crystal is a very welcome new addition to the Inhuman royal family in my Fantastic Four display. This is easily my most anticipated Legends purchase of the year!

So is it going to go live for way less and then shoot up in price 5 minutes later, or go live way more expensive and the drop an few hours later? Seems to happen every third item lately.

Or in Amazon's case just disappear altogether. I guess that might be less likely because I think it was originally announced as an Amazon Exclusive. If I'm not mistaken. But I might.

It was, but seems to now be a Fan Channel exclusive as well

Either way, I'm making a point of insta ordering this one. I've been fairly laid back about pre-orders lately due to just timing of the order releases being so weird. But yeah noon on the dot tomorrow.

I agree that $59.99 is likely the safest bet, but I could see this falling in a broad range of pricing points, both lower and higher. The question is whether Hasbro will use this as a test for a new pricing point. It seems that making it a fan channel exclusive and long desired characters would make it easier for them to do so.

Not shocked by the $69.99 price. I had a feeling that it would be higher than I initially hoped (as my previous post indicated with the "test" of a new price point), but it was still an instant pre-order through Amazon for me. I feel fairly confident that this is my going to be my favorite Marvel Legends release of the year, right there neck and neck with the Deluxe Phoenix.

Wow. $70 is beyond anything even I expected. I'm kind of on the same boat as @tarot though. I was going to get this no matte what. I still think this would have worked better as a BAF wave though. There are so many Inhumans adjacent characters they could have put into a wave. And the price of Lockjaw would have been worked into the price. Man, pressing that buy button hurt a litle.

Not sure why people are shocked at this price, price seems very reasonable to me in this day and age, Lockjaw himself is like 50 buck figure, it's a massive lump of plastic, For what Lockjaw is I expected as much, this 2 pack will probably be like 100 bucks here in Canada, and honestly I have no problem with that, 40 for Crystal which is a single figure standard here, and lockjaw at like 60, 60 is even better then a lot of recent deluxes, heck recent Phoneix was 70 bucks here, and that's a lot less then a crystal and lockjaw.

I need these 2 so I don't care about a price, gotta have em.

They've actually done a pretty unexpectedly solid job with a number of their BAFs like Ursa Major, Armadillo, etc. and they just did a great Zabu, so I'm baffled as to why Lockjaw doesn't have articulation. Oh I'm sure the apologists will say he doesn't need it but what you now have is basically a figurine. $70.00 for that....

Well as much as I wanted this but $70 for a figure and hollow statue of a dog with limited articulation... I really do know who is more outta their damn mind Hasbro for what they're setting the prices for their products knowing that people will pay...or the people who pay these prices....and also is it really releasing at the end of the month..??.. I have too many pre orders hitting this and next month.. Damn it Hasbro for making me want this and buying it....

Agreed. $70 is too extreme. I'll wait until I can buy Crystal by herself on eBay for $25.

I couldn't order right a 1 PM so I was a little concerned I would miss out like I did on the Punisher 2 pack a few weeks ago.  But I was able to pre-order and like many, I am surprised how soon this is coming out. Well, it will be nice to add to the Royal Family. Other than Thor, Iron Man and Avengers related new figures, they are the ones I have wanted to complete the most. Hopefully since Hasbro has finally developed a Lockjaw; Triton, Maximus, Gorgon and a new Black Bolt on the Vulcan buck will be headed our way sooner rather than later. As far as price point, continued inflation is behind their need to raise the price on this 2 pack... look at what Odin was priced at. I would expect we will see more figures and 2 packs in this price range moving forward.

And that's why I've bought less and less Marvel legends..the figure vs the price point just at times doesn't equal out...
