weird that we are getting this in September while the US has to wait. Must be ready to ship and Walmart is holding back.

Happened a lot in the past, I remember back in the days of Marvel Universe the last waves were first in other markets, I knew several people that made some money exporting them to the US.

Hope he is shipped fast enough to arrive about the same time as GM, for that team!

I completely forgot about this, mainly because I have no interest in it, but I do wish I could have that head, since it's much more accurate then the previous figure, but I'm not buying a whole figure for a head.

Figure looks great, but the boots, gloves, and trunks should be a light green imo. That's his classic costume. Not sure when he switched to white. I'll be buying regardless. Easy repaint, and I did it with the older Pietro figure.

Last time he wore the green suit was Avengers #53 (1968) , gloves, boots, and briefs were all light green. Final appearance of that suit was, of all places, Spider-Man #71 (1969). When he rejoins the Avengers in #75 (1970), he has his now-iconic light blue suit with the white gloves, boots, and briefs. Appearances of the green suit ("flash backs") with white gloves etc were coloring errors and they just got ignored. Most likely the colorists were going off the light blue suit and just didn't do research. So yes, you are right.

I buy figures for heads all the time. It's how I got five Sharon Carter heads.  🙂

It's pretty much the only reason I buy Power Rangers figures.

Super bland figure. If the figure was on a new buck and included more hands. This would probably be a good purchase.

I would prefer the classic outfit, as it makes more sense for a character called Quicksilver. I'd love to see them use the same color blue paint they used for the War Machine (re-colored modular Iron Man) last year. But I agree with others have said, if they're gonna do the original green, he should have the lime green gloves/boots/briefs.

Ha Yeah I just can't justify a 40 dollar head, and then to have a random quicksilver body laying around I probably can't get rid of, I'm just gonna be fine with the Quicksilver I have at home, never was a fan of the green, it's blue or bust, besides quicksilver isn't a vary beloved character for me anyways.

That is a waste of money, to be sure. At the same time they surely are going to make a light blue version so I'd just wait for that if I were you.

Now that the color of his gloves and boots has been brought up, I can't unsee it! Seriously, these kind of mistakes are ultimately minor, but they really aren't. I assume the point of this figure is to be his early Avengers look to go with GM, yet it isn't correct. So now we have to wait for another 25 dollar paint correction? This is one I've been really pining for since that iteration of the Avengers is one of my favorites. Cap, two refugee terrorists, and an ex criminal, with occasional help from Hank and Janet. And they fought and defeated some of the biggest Avengers threats up to that point using cunning and teamwork. The character development and their interactions with eachother were great, and really built what would become the Avengers blueprint moving forward.

Has there been any indication of what time pre-orders will open?

I dont have insider info or anything, but these Walmart ones are usually early. I think the last one was 8 am if that helps.

I agree with you, they're not minor mistakes. Regardless whether the character is an "A" lister or a dud, the figure needs to be correct. If hasbo omitted the white on Cap's sleeves and just made it all blue, or if they made that part of the arm bare skin, its not minor, its incorrect. But I guarantee you these guys and/or their...let's call them "devotees"...are gonna say this figure is an "homage" to the green hasbo Blob BAF from 17 years ago, so its not a mistake. Never mind that THAT was incorrect. 🤣

yes it's not like Quicksilver never had a green and white suit....oh wait:

I understand that, in the history of Marvel comics, he looked that way. It was pretty short lived though. What I'm talking about is being a figure to go with GM. They did fight side by side in the early days of the Avengers quite a few times in the teen to twenty range. And at that time he had the green. It's a minor, yet annoying, issue for me.

This is typical exclusive as to be expected. Stock reused simple body model with no or very few added details and new paint apps. In comparison it even looks like the entire head sculpt is reused with different printing. Those pink lips get me every time. The thing is it looks fantastic. Honestly the last head sculpt was so spot on they could have easily used the same exact one. When things are done right and with precision even the most uncomplicated of designs can have amazing results. Can't wait for this one.

Yeah I remember that same exact picture, from Vision & the Scarlet Witch #6...but he's in the blue suit there. Also, he wore the green during his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants phase. But while I'm sure they'll re-do him in the blue, I wouldn't count on seeing the green and lime green gloves/boots so you might have to paint those on your own.

Yes for the look they seem to be going for it is indeed incorrect. And it's unfortunate. There ARE many pictures of him in the green with white gloves/boots/trunks but it does seem to be and artistic error in most cases. Or artistic choice if you prefer. Like they just took the blue and white suit and changed the blue to green and called it good. And actually it doesn't actually appear in the comics all that much. For the most part the comics do have the green on green. Even in the various databases there are actually very few green/white pictures. Even during the Avengers Academy days when they kind of gave him that updated throwback suit it was even green on green with a white bolt. Either way in this "We just looked it up on Google" era of ML is this even that surprising. Just as an experiment go to Google and type in Marvel Quicksilver Green Suit and see what comes up. Mystery solved?

Just a little self correction. Had to check my Masterworks. Most of my comments are solely from memory, and not looked up first. (Or Wikied like a lot of people on the interwebs) Quicksilver and GM only fight together in issue 16. But the font of the Avengers title on the card for Quicksilver indicates super early Avengers. So I do stand by that this shoulda been the green gloves. And Pietro and Hank fight together when Hank rejoins as Goliath. That is most likely why I felt confident with the "quite a bit" part. Just wanna make sure I keep my street cred, lol.
