I likely won't buy - I tend to avoid 1/6 scale, but this thing is seriously amazing.

Wow I don't remember Peter ever looking that yoked. Even during the Buscema era. And for a figure that size there are some really big gaps and chunky joints on this thing. I mean look at that diaphragm joint. Under no contortion can you make that thing look good. I mean it is Mondo and with it you're going to get the typical Mondo work but for that size and that price I would expect a bit more accuracy as far as the look of the character and a lot more intricacy as far as the way the articulation sits. This kind of stuff would make guys like McFarlane drive off a cliff.

I really don't like the head, they definitely captured something from the series but the head shape is way too narrow, I do remember concept art where it was this small and narrow but in series itself Spidey's head never looked like this, if anything it was closer to both Hasbro figure head shapes. They do include second head which seems better but it's pretty bad move to lock it under limited edition. Good exclusive would be Spider-sense or half masked head.
