Are the X-Men '97 figures actual reissues? Or did some of the original run get held back in order to fill the Target Geek out?

Dan Yun called it a reissue and said they wouldn't ship until Spring 2025, so I don't think it's the original run.

Hasbro's Dan Yun has announced that the Marvel Legends Series X-men '97 Rogue Reissue Figure from Hasbro will not be coming to Target Fall Geek Out 2024 Winter Event on September 27th.

Rogue was been postponed until another date but Marvel Legends Series X-men '97 Wolverine will indeed be going up for pre-order this Friday at 9 am EDT.

Well, that makes Friday less stressful I guess. I really want another Rogue. I'm not sure I need Wolverine at all since I passed on everyone but Madeline Pryor the first time.

Hasbro really kind of made this positive announcement into something negative by involving Target.

Rouge is the one figure I passed on. The head sculpt looked too much like the show and not enough of a "comic" update for me. I love the retro figure.

Wolverine is up. 

I got him without any issue.  Dan's definition of "Spring" is rather stretched.  Wolverine is scheduled to ship June 22, 2025.

Wish Rogue was taken care of.

Still on the fence with Venompool.  I have all the original build-a pieces so there's really no need for it, but I honestly can't say if I see it in stores I'll just pass it up (I have a problem, I know).

I am from Spain. I wanted to buy the Pícara figure but I couldn't and now I can only find it on AliExpress for €80 or so, which seems like an exorbitant price to me. Please get more and at an affordable price.

Oh, Pícara is Rogue. We have no indications that the re-release has been cancelled, so it's possible that the figure could be part of Target's next Geek Out event in the Spring. We can't be sure right now. That figure does go for insane money on the secondary market, but the best advice I think anyone here can give you is to be patient and stay tuned for news as we get it.

Hasbro's Dan Yun has suggested on social media that the Marvel Legends Series X-Men '97 Gambit reissue figure will likely go up for pre-order sometime next week. Dan Yun has stated Remy is NOT a Target Exclusive! When more details become available we will be sure to update you here.

Wolverine lasted a decent amount of time. But Rogue is likely to go faster.

Of course she is,they want to give you a chance to get her....but not a really good one and because fan channel release would just be too easy and everyone would get her.

This was my thought.

really they should have just re-released the entire way and be done with it, it kinda feels a bit jabby to release these figures staggered and individually, and to make certain figures exclusives, doesn't seem like a collector friendly parlour trick.
