I got this figure and it’s pretty great.  But the hair is just off for me.  I can’t get passed it

As discussed in the other thread, the head is not great.  I replaced it with a Black Widow head.

Way overpriced IMPO but I have to say I do appreciate the comparisons to other product. Want to make ML look like a bargain set it next to even more ridiculously product. Nothing and I mean nothing Mafex is doing with Marvel compares to ML. Even at this $50 price point it's a better bargain. I say this with no disrespect to Mafex fans but paying that much for an inferior product just blows my mind. Regardless of how many extra hands it comes with. And with a face portrait reminiscent of the older 5" Toybiz line.

Yes sir. You and MCUC24 and Dan W are at the top of your games and my go to right now. Your reviews in particular have gotten much more in depth and I love your PIP shots of the head sculpts and head swaps and comparisons of final product to promo images. Had they just used the gorgeous sculpt from the TRU exclusive this would have been a much better figure. Not worth the price still though IMO. I'm not sure who they were trying to portray with this portrait but isn't Jean. TBH it looks more like a Romita style MJ from her first appearance..

I think the Jean head from the old Dark Phoenix is probably the best. But the cost is extortionate.  I'm just not sure it's that much better than the MJ-esque Black Widow.

That is a good head swap as well. I don't  have retro black widow like yours. I'll try the MJ from retro gwen stacy. Cheers

Thanks 🙏 I try to improve in every video and give something a bit different. 💯 agree that if Hasbro used the gorgeous Jean head from TRU it would be better.

I recently found out that the smiling Jean is a update of the 5 inch toybiz Jean. Cheers and have a good weekend.
