I was debating it, but knew it would sell out, so I ordered it. Now its pre-sold out on EE, like the Wolvie and Cap. Never can tell, but don't think this one'll get reduced.

If you see the size difference of the previous one, to this one. I feel like you can just use the bigger one for Gargan and this one for Pete. Especially if the DA Spidey is the six armed one.

Once again, I cannot justify this one in my head.  There's been, what......a dozen versions of this look done before, all very similar??  Really what are the DIFFERENCES to revisit this so many time, and are those differences really giving us anything BETTER???  It's personal preference, sure........but I cannot see any pull for me.

I do like the mask with squinting eyes but a little annoyed that they didn't include a head piece identical to his lenticular. That aside, it's pretty awesome to be getting this dude on a Secret Wars card finally.

Yeah, it's an odd choice. They made the hand patches triangular to match the suit's earliest look, but for the heads they went with big and slim eyes, both design quirks from later interpretations of the black suit. The slim eyes even feel pretty modern-age, giving off a Marco Checchetto or Gabriele Dell'Otto vibe.

It feels like a decision in the same vein of giving this wave's Iron Man a blue unibeam, which is a modern concept. So in the same way I'm expecting a yellow-unibeam Iron Man some time down the line, we'll probably also get this Spidey figure with the Mike Zeck-style eyes and rectangular hand patches for the definitive Black Suit Spider-Man some time down the line.

This doesn't do much for me, I think it looks good for what it is, a smaller black suit spidey, on the Amazing Fantasy buck(?), but I'm tired out of black suit spideys at this point, we have had so many, I spent enough time trying to track down the previous retro one and I'm happy with that, this coming out just seems like overkill, but I get that it's a must for this wave, since this is where this costume debuted, also obviously despite there being a stack of Black suits this one will still sell out, people always want a spider-man, and the retro one was very tough to find, so I am happy if people are happy to get another chance or to upgrade this suit, but Pass I shall.

This really should have came with an unmasked head, the squint eye head seems...meh.

it's its anniversary of its first appearance and probably the second most important suit in Spider-man wardrobe. Of course they are going to keep doing it. and believe it or  not many people were asking for it on this body.
