Two small corrections, A. That new wolverine is actually wolverine from the Storm led "X-Treme X-Men" not the Ultimate universe. During that time (earlier 2000s) all X characters saw some pretty big uniform/custom changes, from the "Leather Look" from New X-Men, to the Bird of Prey Angel costume when he was leading the Xmen and even the Gold/Yellow Xmen Juggarnaut.
and B. Female Electro is NOT Tombstone's Daughter, the female Beatle is Tombstone's kid.

Actually. This was a look that wolverine had in both the ultimate universe, the prime universe And the evolution cartoon. It was an attempt unify the look.

Hasbro on Friday revealed the entire first wave of X-Men Marvel Legends figures coming in 2025. This will be a six figure wave with a Build-A-Figure that will be going up for pre-order at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth in early January. The wave breaks down as follows:

- Age Of Apocalypse Gambit - This figure includes a staff and alternate hands. It also has a cloak and It has pin-less arms and legs. The figure uses brown and blue colors and a new headsculpt. In some comics it had greens and in some browns, but they went with brown for this figure.

- X-treme X-Men Wolverine - This figure includes 3 pairs of hands and now BAF piece. He has combat fatigue black pants. Ryan would love to do a X-treme X-Men Rogue and Storm.

- Acolytes Fabian Cortez - Includes 2 Power Effects for his hands and alternate hands. It also includes the Nemesis Left Leg. The figure has a ponytail and a removable cape. The figure has pin-less arms and legs.

- Generation X Husk - This figure includes two headsculpts, a normal one and one with here skin being torn off her metal face. She also comes with a chunk of flesh and alternate hands so you can make it look like she is ripping the skin off her face. The body is pretty much the same one used with the previous Generation X Monet figure with a few minor updates. The figure also includes the Torso/Head for Nemesis.

- Marrow - This figure is based on her 90s/early 2000 look. Has bones sticking out her back. She has two bone swords and alternate hands. She has pin-less arms and legs. She also has the left arm for Nemesis.

Note while talking about Marrow who appears in the Marvel vs Capcom video games along with their recent Cable figure that wears the outfit from those games, Ryan suggested maybe they are teasing a greater theme. This MIGHT be a reference to the Marvel vs. Capcom subline that has been RUMORED to be coming in 2025.

- X-Factor Cyclops (Blue and Yellow) - This figure comes with a new updated optic blast and two headsculpts (One for optic blast and regular one). This figure uses the Vulcan body. They also asked in the live-stream if people want to see more figures based on the original X-Factor team. This figure comes with the right arm for Nemesis.

- Uncanny X-Force Nightcrawler - This figure includes a sword, two headsculpts and multiple hands. The two headsculpts have different eye colors, again because in the comics he was shown with different eye (Yellow and red) colors. This figure has pin-less arms and legs. Ryan in the live-stream made sure to note that Uncanny X-Force is an interesting team, possibly hinting more members from that team will be getting the figure treatment. This figure also includes the dome and back piece for Nemesis.

The Build-A-Figure for this wave is Nemesis. This is a more modern version of the character which is why it looks different from the previous Holocaust/Nemesis figure Hasbro did years ago. This is one of Dwights favorite figures he has ever worked on. The figure has tubes on the back that attach to his right arm cannon. The dome is removable and the skull head can turn and has an articulated jaw. The Skull head is also encased in fire.

When Hasbro provides a specific pre-order date for this wave we will be sure to update you here. This will be the second Marvel Legends wave released in 2025.

Hasbro this past Friday loaded us up with a ton of info to end out 2024 giving us a look at the first two Marvel Legends waves to be released in 2025 along with 3 store exclusives coming in the new year. But besides that they seemingly dropped a number of hints for upcoming products along with 3 different accessory teasers. So lets break it all down.

At one point in the stream Hasbro told us they would be doing more Savage Land based characters in 2025 and even casually mentioned a four-armed character who I believe was a reference to the character named Barbarus. At this time I have no additional info for any Savage Land characters so we will just have to wait and see on this one.

The next clue Hasbro dropped was that they told us we would be seeing more Spider-Man: No Way Home figures coming in 2025. If you want more details on what that likely will be then GO HERE!

Hasbro's Ryan Ting when talking about the newly announced Uncanny X-Force Nightcrawler made sure to note that Uncanny X-Force is an interesting team, possibly hinting more members from that team will be getting the figure treatment. I have no additional information to share on this so this is another one we will just have to wait and see.

Ryan also noted he really liked X-Treme characters such as Rogue and Storm when they were talking about the newly announced X-Treme X-Men Wolverine. Now honestly I think this was more something Ryan would like to see than actually suggesting something that was coming, but again we will have to see.

Finally Ryan when talking about the newly announced X-Men Marrow figure along with the recent Cable figure in yellow and blue they did suggested that maybe they were teasing a greater theme. Both those characters appear in the Marvel vs. Capcom video games which is a new subline that has been rumored to be coming by Displaying Model Behaviour. According to him the first wave would include the following single and 2-Packs:

-Shuma-Gorath
-Juggernaut
-Captain America & Venom
-War Machine & Omega Red
-Wolverine & Silver Samurai
-Psylocke & Thanos

This is a line I have not seen any additional details on so we only have the one source for this particular rumor at this time. But again it did seem like maybe Ryan was making a hint for that in Friday's live-stream. Again I guess time will tell.

At the end of the live-stream the Hasbro guys confirmed they already were working on a few more Made-To-Pre-Order Marvel Legends items for 2025 like we saw with Dragon Man and the X-Men 97 Sentinel. No specifics but definitely more of those to come.

And finally Hasbro showed off three different accessories for upcoming Marvel Legends figures. Now while we will treat this as RUMOR until Hasbro officially confirms then, I can tell you with 99.9% certainty what two of the teasers are for. The third one I can only guess about.

The first accessory they showed was a staff. This should be for a new Marvel Legends Adam Warlock figure that will be part of a new Marvel Legends sub-line of figures that include mini-comics. The first wave of 6 figures should include the following:

- Rom The Space Knight with ROM Mini-Comic #1
- Banshee (Green and Yellow Classic Costume) with Giant Sized X-Men #1 Mini-Comic
- Adam Warlock with Infinity Gauntlet #1 Mini-Comic
- Miles Morales Spider-Man with Miles Morales: The Ultimate Spider-Man #1 Mini-Comic
- Dark Avengers Wolverine with Dark Avengers #1 Mini-Comic
- Ultimate Iron Man with unkown Ultimate Iron Man Mini-Comic

The Rom figure was previewed back in July at SDCC. These are supposed to be out around April time frame and cost $24.99 each.

The second accessory was of a web effect. This will go to a new Spider-Man figure that is part of another new Marvel Legends sub-line called "Ultimate" which will see release through Fan-Channel retailers.

The term Ultimate refers to the fact these figures will be jam-packed with accessories. The first two figures slated for this line should be a new Spider-Man (Traditional Red And Blue Costume) and Green Hulk. Spider-Man will have an unmasked, regular masked head and spider-sense masked tingling head. he also comes with multiple hands, webbing effects (one of which Hasbro just teased), backpack, a set of lower arm/hands that have no costume but have webblasters on the hands, and some kind of stand. Hulk will have three heads, multiple hands, some kind of firing missile, wind clapping effect and punch effect. Hulk will stand 8.5" tall.

I don't have any kind of pricing or release date info for these but these should be the "Ultimate" versions of both characters to date Hasbro has given us.

Now I have seen some suggest the webbing effect also looks similar to something seen used in the Marvel Vs Capcom games. As I mentioned before I have no info on that rumored sub-line, but I certainly wouldn't be shocked if Hasbro used an accessory with more than one figure.

The third teaser which Hasbro said was not yet finished I really couldn't say. It definitely looks like the blades used on Archangel's wings. There is a rumor again from Displaying Model Behaviour that suggests we will see a X-Force version of Archangel released in 2025. This is another rumor I have no further details on. Being the accessory Hasbro showed us is black is odd but again Hasbro said it was unfinished, which might suggest its not yet been painted silver. The image I am showing below is from the Dark X-Men storyline but again I can only guess on this one.

Not made during the Fan-Stream, but afterwards on X, Hasbro's Dan Yun posted this:

I don't know if this was meant to tease anything additional coming in 2025 that wasn't revealed in the live-stream, but I sure hope that Excalibur Omnibus is suggesting that we will finally see a Rachel Grey figure this year to round out that team.

So there you have it, a breakdown of everything Hasbro seemed to tease in this weeks fan-stream along with some additional details to shed more light on things. Let us know in the COMMENT SECTION what your most excited for when it comes to Marvel Legends in the coming year.

I haven't been this excited for a wave for a long time. Long live BAF waves. Love these figures. Love these characters. That Nemesis looks amazing. Not even mad it's not his original look. I expec we'll get the somewhere down the line as a Deluxe.

Since they said they’d be doing more savage land themed characters, I hope they do a rerelease of the Sauron baf as a deluxe figure. I’ve wanted that one for a long time, and seeing that they rereleased a few baf as deluxe figs this past year gives me hope that they will eventually get around to that one.

Lol. Pardon me if I'm a little scheptical of the terminology of "jam packed with accessories" for the new Ultimates line. With Hasbro's disdain for additional plastic I'm thinking it's actually more like "with accessories". But in either case I'm sure the penalty for more little pieces will be steep. Of course I'll have to wait and see as usual but I'm really interested to see exactly how many accessories they can jam pack into the Hulk set.

If we are getting more X-treme X-men then the most logical choices are Sage and a remake of Rogue.

Yeah. maybe they could also do Neal Sharra, Lifeguard and Slipstream

Also despite the packaging and what the livestream says, this is Genocide not Nemesis/Holocaust.

I get even more pleased with this X-Men wave the more I'm seeing it, mainly how happy I am to finally be getting more Gen X'ers, Husk has been so long awaited for me, she's a delight, and Marrow so awesome, love love that Nemesis BAF, not the look I would have expected but my oh my does it look great, I didn't want or ever want to have to buy a whole wave with figures I would skip for a BAF but I will do so to complete that, plus even with the fact I really only want 3 of these figures and sort of 1 of them I will suck it up and take a Nightcrawler and Cyclops I don't give a hoot about for Nemesis. I just really hope that we get some more Gen X next year, and I don't have to wait a zillion years for more, but hey I'm still gonna shake my tiny fist until we get a Marrina for my Alpha Flight, Hasbruz...MARRINA pweeez!

Always found it odd they used Heather in the box set instead of the original member Marinna. That was what, 6-7 years ago. Likely need to update everybody now. Including Mac.

I remember the comic version of this suit; Prof X wore it while in his hover chair. Color change and some other odds and ends and viola, I'm sure it will show up soon. I like how they did his eyebrows on the figure.

Yeah it was weird they chose to put her in and not Marrina, and even more weird they made her costume not even the same colors as James, I actually wouldn't like to see them update any of the members, I don't want to have to buy them again, but it does seem strange we still have not seen a Deluxe Sasquatch, I would just like a Marrina, I mean I'd be exstatic to see other members as well, Talisman, Box, Diamond Lil, Windshear...whatever. Hasbroski can I have a Dreamqueen?

Well you never "have" to buy them again, that's up to you. If the first ones are good enough for you then so be it. You're right about Sasquatch; they have better techniques now to make him look really great. I definitely want an updated Vindicator, this time with the maple flag "metallic" look they showed in the promos years ago (Bowen Statues also did it that way), but even if they don't do that paint, they need to fix that head of his. Snowbird should have had a paler blue to her outfit, and her hair was straighter and more pale-blonde as well. I know a LOT of fans want Box.

I had forgotten about this. I'd be down for a 5-pack to complete the team, redone Beetle and White Rabbit, Scorpia, Lady Ock and Trapster. Not sure if Hasbro is done with those 5 packs though.

Count me as someone who was happy they included Heather.  Always loved her.  If they had to sacrifice Marrina for her, such is life.  Not that I wouldn't love to see Hasbro put out a Marrina, or Box, or Diamond Lil, or Windshear...

If they make the rest of Alpha Flight---the remaining characters from the first 28 issues, I can finally lay my Marvel Legends collecting to rest.  And, honestly.......I'm weary.

Would LOVE to see more of the essential ALPHA FLIGHT characters. Marrina and Talisman would be great, as would Windshear, however unlikely that is. Box would be a killer BAF, but i would much prefer the Madison Jeffries version. He continues to play a good part in comics. It would even be a great deluxe set with a separate Madison figure.

The first Hasbro Marvel Legends Spider-Man Retro Cardback Wave for 2025 is now available for pre-order at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.

Amazon Links: Agent Venom (Flash Thompson), Marvel's Chameleon (Animated Series), Electro (Francine Frye), Marvel's Kaine, Spider-Boy and Spider-Man Unlimited (Animated Series)

This wave will include the following:

Agent Venom (Flash Thompson) - This is an update to the 2014 Walgreens exclusive Agent Venom. This figure includes a riffle, pistol, working gun holster, masked head, unmasked Flash Thompson head, and 2 extra pairs of hands. The hips and joints have been updated from the original release. It does have pin-less arms and legs.

Marvel's Chameleon (Animated Series) - This figure based on the Spider-Man: The Animated Series includes an extra set of hands, riffle and J.J. Jameson pulled off mask. He has a hand that looks like is activating his belt as seen in the cartoon and you also get the mask as a tribute to the original 5" Toy Biz figure. The figure has pin-less arms and legs.

Electro (Francine Frye) - The figure includes extra hands and new large lightning effects with c-grips to go on the wrists. She is Tombstones daughter in the comics. The facial expression has a big menacing grin.

Marvel's Kaine - This is an all-new sculpted figure and includes and extra pair of hands. He also has a wind-swept cape and features the pin-less arms and legs. In the comics Kaine is an imperfect clone of Peter Parker.

Spider-Boy - The figure includes extra hands, extra fanged headsculpt and backpack. The extra hands are web-shooting hands even though the character does not shoot webs in the comics. This is the first kid-size body with pin-less arms and legs.

Spider-Man Unlimited (Animated Series) - The figure includes two extra set of hands. It also has a web-cape and has pin-less arms and legs. This figure is based on the Spider-Man Unlimted Animated series that originally aired on FOX and was a continuation of the Spider-Man: The Animated Series where Peter ends up in an alternate dimension.

Well, of course I couldn't help but order them all.  Kaine, Femlectro and Agent Venom are the ones I'm most excited for, but I'm happy to add every one of them to the collection.  Kinda wish Chameleon was comic based, I know people have been pining for the cartoon/toy based figure for a while so I'm happy for them, but other media versions of characters will always be inferior to me than comic based figures (with rare exception).
