I went ahead and pre-ordered the whole wave as well. I considering skipping SM Unlimited and Agent Venom, but went ahead added them also. Spider-Boy is the one that I'm most excited for, personally.

Would LOVE to see more of the essential ALPHA FLIGHT characters. Marrina and Talisman would be great, as would Windshear, however unlikely that is. Box would be a killer BAF, but i would much prefer the Madison Jeffries version. He continues to play a good part in comics. It would even be a great deluxe set with a separate Madison figure.

I'm not that big of a Box fan, but I'd prefer the red and yellow Bachs robot. But regardless if its that one or the Jeffries version, hasbo's BAFs these days have been really good and I'm sure they could knock it out of the park.

Wow, Talisman and Windshear....I'd almost forgotten about them! Yes they would indeed make excellent figures, and neither would be that hard to do.

BUT...they gotta get Marinna done first...complete that team, yo  lol

I totally bailed on SMU. Not really into animated style figures and honestly it's just a goofy looking design anyway. Same with Chameleon. Not a fan of this animated design and he just looks too darn buff for that guy who used to walk around in his robe. Maybe we'll get a better one down the line but for now I guess the teeny tiny siut body model version will have to work for me.

Yeah I left Spider-Man Unlimited on the digital shelf, and Chameleon, despite me actually loving that Spidey Unlimited show and loving his design in it, the figure was a not very necessary purchase, not pre-order worthy, plus yes it's based off an animated show, and I'm not for that.

Did preorder the rest, Francine Electro, Spider-Boy, Agent Venom and Kaine.

maybe down the road if I'm feeling like buying something and it's there I'd pick up SMU.

Man, I'm genuinely tempted to get Spider-Man Unlimited. While I didn't watch the show, I have fond childhood memories of that costume from Neversoft's Spider-Man. Loved using it in that game. I remember even being pretty happy when I learned that suit is canon to Earth-616 via a two-parter in Webspinners: Tales of Spider-Man.

Not much interest for me but it looks like an impressive figure

Odd man out. I love this, and so glad they did a new one. Is it perfect? Nope, but it fills the gap, and doesn't look too bad. More please. Reissue the original JJJ from the Today era, to stand next to my No Way Home variant.

I preordered Chameleon and Kane from the Spidey wave.

I never saw Spider-man unlimited growing up, so I went ahead and watched the 13 episodes of it that exist… I’ll admit that it isn’t great, but after reading some of the behind-the-scenes circumstances that contributed to what the show ended up being, I think it was kind of set up for failure. The animation was admittedly better in some ways than its predecessor despite its tiny budget (though Carnage looked ridiculous). There were some cool characters that actually could make for figures- like the weird Green Goblin or even some of the beastials, though they would likely flop if Hasbro tried to do so. It was interesting seeing the High Evolutionary as the primary antagonist and I can’t help but wonder if some of what happened in GOTG 3 was at least loosely influenced by it. I want to hate the show more than I do simply because that is the general consensus, but it has a weird charm to it in its own right that makes me appreciate its existence I guess…

Long story short, I may get the figure. Don’t plan to preorder it, but might pick it up in the wild.

Man, I hope the torso is tight enough on this one. Both the old Lizard and Sauron had extremely loose torso joints that didn't like to hold poses well. And I tried multiple Sauron torsos. They updated everything else about this figure, why couldn't we have just gotten a brand new body??

This is my main concern as well. It was immediately loose, and ik that was an across-the-board issue.

I'm just ecstatic that they're tackling every character from No Way Home. It's impossible for me to maintain a proper ML collection, but I can gladly keep up with a cinematic Spider-Man collection. And being able to have No Way Home as the centerpiece of the collection will be very satisfying.

Still holding out hope that they go with one more wave of MCU/Sony Spider-Man figures.

...Since this is technically on topic...I'm also going to say I'm 100% going to get the new Kaine and SM Unlimited figures. I didn't watch the Unlimited series but I always wanted a figure with that suit.

I like this figure more than I thought I would, but that neck piece is so weird looking.

Yeah, it's the neck very off putting.

I like what Hasbro has been doing with these "deluxe" pricing, first I believe it was the Venom pool baf, and now the lizard where they were $34.99 instead of $39.99 to $60. This is strange (in a great way) because what makes for some of the heinous prices for some of their other deluxe figures is it the lack of reuse, maybe?

I'm not one who is in the market for an MCU Lizard, but personally I find this figure aesthetically displeasing, the old ancient elongated torso seems like some kitbash, and the neck piece which looks like it's got fat folds, or he's wearing as mask is just off putting, but that's just me, I feel like they gave this effort in some places and just smashed something together in all of the rest of the places, it just seems half-baked, I'm happy though for all that are happy with this, this figure is for you, not for me.

Is really annoying, I was looking forward to this Chameleon version but is SO cartoonish, and those crotch/legs/torso proportions, ugh ... then the chest is so wide and that neck thing ... I will keep my old suit Chameleon version. Thanks, Hasbro for saving me 25 bucks!

Nope. Still too massive to be seriously taken as Chameleon. Had part of his character been that he was in insane physical condition this would make sense. But it isn't. Comic wise even though it's been suggested that he might have some level of augmented strength he's always been that more slight build smoking jacket wearing soffisticant type of character. As far as how he appeared in the cartoon this is probably correct. I wouldn't know. I never saw it. And it does track with the Retro toys it's designed after. But as an accurate depiction of Chameleon this is not it. Don't get me wrong. The first one they made sucks on many levels as well but it's the one that'll remain in my display for the foreseeable future.

I'm very much looking forward to having this whole wave in hand but Spider-Boy and Francine are still the stars for me.

I just realized this is the SECOND X-Factor Cyclops we've gotten yet they haven't done any of the others.
