Hasbro Target Exclusive Marvel Legends Professor X (Savage Land) Figure Pre-order Coming Next Week!

Yeah, the only way that I'm likely to buy this is if it gets down to the same crazy $5-$6 clearance price that the Walmart Warlord Prof X is currently selling for. LOL!

My own Target will never even stock this anyway, guaranteed. They never stocked the recent Carnage, Warbird or older Tracksuit mafia figures. The last Legends exclusives they stocked were this summer's SamCap Falcon and the Yondu from a few years ago. I ended up buying out all of their remaining stock of both when they set them at their final clearance price of around $7 each.

Hasbro always makes Prof X look evil as hell. They know something we dont?

I like this, and I would have gladly bought this had they not first released Warlord Prof, and then re-release the one I wanted all along Hover Chair Charlies, but since those 2 came around, this is an easy pass, I don't need it at all, heck I don't even care about this Warlord figure anymore...I just wanted the Hover Chair Classic Charles.

Too much Xavier in such a short time.

Yep it's a good looking figure. But was it necessary. I am a sucker for the Savage Land story line though. Still got those crazy eyebrows. Guess it's a trademark but somehow Hasbro can't do it without making him look insane. I want to say I don't need this. And I probably don't. But I'm pretty sure I'll end up getting it.

I only need 2 versions of Professor X. The hoverchair one and this one. As a big fan of the animated series, I’ve been wanting a figure in his green jumpsuit for a long time, so I’m thrilled. I think he wore this outfit fairly often, even while in the hoverchair after returning from the Savage Land.

Well, if you've kept up with the more recent X-Men stuff he's certainly not a moral paragon....

Yeah, this is an immediate buy for me.  It's an easy swapout in the chair to get "Action Xavier" versus "Schooltime Xavier" and also can somewhat double as "Young Pre-Chair Xavier."

Also I think it's hilarious that "Safari Suit!" is the "action feature" for this figure.

I'm gonna get him but gonna wait till Target drops him. I can't stand pre-orders from target, so I have found the best way to get them is to be online at midnight when it comes out. It has worked for me  forever (that's how I got warbird)and now my secret is everyone's.

Midnight is 3 AM for me. Your secret is safe. Few figures are worth getting up in the middle of night to order for pickup.  🙂

I do regret not doing it for the practically free Jean Grey Phoenix drop, but when she hit 34.99 on Amazon briefly, I felt less bad.

It is actually nice to know for anyone who wants this in Canada that it's not an exclusive, Target Exclusives translate 99% of the time to TRU exclusives here in Canada, and TRU are notorious for having poor stocking practice, and extreme Mark-ups (almost 50 for a single figure!), so it's probably a sigh of relief for many Canadian collectors to know this will be more readily accessible.

Probably skip this, unless it gets reduced

Not a bad figure but also one I can see easily ending up on the discounted bin. That's not necessarily a bad thing- I'm not seeing a lot of obvious glaring errors here. I recall that the comic version was in tan, not olive green like the animated show (which is what this one is so good on 'em). They could have done some decent paint for the Cerebro helmet, so that it doesn't look like something off a Happy Meal. Otherwise its a good figure.

Preorders already sold out smh. Guess I’ll have to quit my job if I wanna be able to preorder this stuff.

Target heavily limits preorders.  Preorders are only a small percentage of the stock they expect to have.  I bet Professor X will be much easier to get once he's released -- probably easier than Warbird, for example.

I reallllllllllly wouldn't worry about this one....its gonna get offered again, either by Target, Amazon, or the likes of EE or BBTS; it wouldn't surprise me if winds up on the $10.00 price list. Don't despair.
