What are Marvel Legends released in the past 2-3 years that already need a redo? This excludes straight re-releases. Those are meant to remain untouched by new paint and new tooling.

I'm picking Karnak. It was a terrible body choice. I thought they had moved past that incredibly outdated Pizza Spider-Man mold. Why bring it back in 2024? There is a new modern skinny body with new technology. Was Karnak really that anorexic in the comics? I was going to buy him at 11$ CDN. But the outdated body turned me away.

I'm going back a teeny bit further than 2-3 years with these:

The Hood. The figure was clearly a joke to the Marvel team, and the figure reflects it, but the character can actually be quite menacing in the comics.

It doesn't need to happen per se, but I'm gonna make an argument for Stan Lee.  From the calves up, that figure is stellar, but Stan didn't wear dress shoes, even at VIP events, for like the twenty  years of his life. Bugs the hell out of me that Peter Parker has white sneakers and Stan doesn't.

I would do Gambit. Updated with pinless joints and super articulation.

It's the same figure since 2019 with different paint and hair! We get it, Hasbro. It's a good figure. But, just because it's good doesn't mean it can't be retooled for the modern era.

Yup, he's a slim guy, which is kind of the point to his power. He's all about finding the smallest flaw, and using the most economic-applied force, rather than over-bearing strength.  I have the figure and he's fine for what he is--he's not a major-player in the Inhumans, but he's not background either.

My entry here would be Mockingbird from the West Coast Avengers boxed-set. Just correct her sleeves ( using Lady DeathStrike's???) and re-issue her as a single.
Guardian, of Alpha Flight, change the expression from frown/scowl to neutral, and give him some additional hands and some energy effects parts. Maybe an an unmasked portrait.
Vindicator--unmasked head using first Sharon Carter head--hair repainted ginger. extra hands.
Aurora and Northstar---re-issue them both with strong joint pins.
"Tiger-stripe" Wolverine with a non-X, normal belt buckle.

I would go with UsAgent, Grim Reaper body was really outdated choice for him + oversized head really didn't help that body. He can look so much better on new Punisher body, but knowing Hasbro it's gonna be 5 years until we get that, if they still have license by that time of course.

I keep saying to people but the Karnak was on the 100% right sculpt, minus the pins. He is a short and skinny guy. He is someone you would underestimate and then get your ass handed to you.

Luke Cage, Arm Pit for Hire. Please. Just what were they thinking there? Not only is he just too small (he's supposed to be around 6' 6"), that ridiculous choice to restrict his torso movement, plus the overlay exposing his armpits, just ruined the figure. The lack of boot rotation didn't help either.

Still always gonna say Lasher, that figure bugs me to no end, horrible choice for a buck, he's not a pizza spidey body symbiote, Needs a much bigger buck, the inaccuracy of that figure upsets me more then any other, like did they look at any source material before saying..yup produce this figure?

second is I would just love Another Gwenpool, they did this figure wonderfully except for giving her awful head options, need a update with a neutral masked head and an unmasked head.

Spider-Man 2099, another why the heck is he on such a scrawny buck? like they did it recently on retro card and it was the same poor body choice, no-update, Miguel is not pizza spidey small.

lasty a comic Ambomination that actually scales well with the recent Hulk buck.

I almost picked it up when it went on sale for the Mindless One BAF piece. But, I decided to wait until it goes further on-sale.

This was very aggravating, one of my favorite characters and have been waiting years for a proper classic Luke Cage and Hasbro makes an all-new mold, and its sucks? Like the articulation is outdated, the size is too small, and  the pits? Like wth.

A LOT of fans wanted this figure and were severely let down. And there is no explanation for why this turned out to be the crapfest that it is. This hasbo team, that loves to go on about how much they love Marvel Comics and its characters, just do the sloppiest work sometimes. The Falcon, Moon Knight, Moon Dragon, Firelord, Blue Marvel, Captain Marvel/Binary, the Silver Surfer- all of them are at the wrong scale for height, and Luke got lumped in there too. But at least their articulation wasn't stunted. The lack of attention to detail is baffling.

And don't get me started on the vast majority of the female figures.

But yeah Cage really, really needs an immediate re-do. Maybe a nice two pack with Iron Fist (this time in his CLASSIC out fit, with the collar ending in a "v")....

Isn't that Luke Cage also on a new body mold? So, they COULD have made him scale properly.

This is the worst part. The opportunity was right there and they just sucked. But they keep doing this, that miles was all new as they said, and the hips? wth is that? Some of their decision-making is just so aggravating and its remarkable how backward some of there choices are.

Don't even get me started on their silver surfer... that one pisses me off to no avail. Spiderman (5'10) ≠ Silver Surfer (6'4 225). This is why I hope after that rumored Hulk and now Deadpool (after that Jayc reported), that Silver Surfer is the next maximum figure and IDC about the price I want a quality Silver Surfer in scale with modern articulation and as Toybiz did 20 years ago a magnetic board. Is this really too much to ask for?

I like that Silver Surfer for how fun it is. If Hasbro does make a new Silver Surfer with new tooling. I ask that he would be able to stand on his surfboard with BOTH feet properly on the board. Not one foot and the other one hovering above.

Now that I've got a few more of the newer body mold female characters in hand, I've literally become obsessed with erasing the twig-legged Kate bishop body from my collection. Firestar, Binary, classic Mystique, Red Elektra, and Grey suit 80s Black Widow would be my choices among the ladies.

I couldn't properly call myself a Canadian if I didn't call for Guardian to be redone, since the disc-herniated old man face makes him easily the hardest figure to look at. Black Bolt would be another I really want to see done, on a larger body and ideally with fabric wings.

Havok (Bonebreaker wave). Would prefer a new body but I just want the neck at least painted correctly (sculpted and painted would be better).

Going way past the 2-3 years but I want a new Hope Summers!
