All prices will be in CDN. So, as a Transformers collector, different size classes used to scale with each other and each with their price range. We have the deluxe class at around 36$, the Voyager class at around 47$ and the Leader class at around 76$. Each size class comes with its own engineering. Recently, Hasbro has been selling Transformers collectors voyager size figures at the leader class size but with added accessories and enhanced engineering to justify the price point. This ranges from logical such as Optimus Prime coming with his trailer that turns into a jetpack and a weapons bay to illogical: the infamous Legacy Blitwing with those 'hands' or Springer's 'iconic hammer'.

Now that Marvel Legends seems to have entered the fray. I want to ask collectors, do you support Hasbro doing something similar in Marvel Legends, like with this Maximum series? Because I would have preferred if this Spider-Man was a deluxe figure at a deluxe price point. This feels like a deluxe figure. I don't feel like paying the equivalent of a leader class price for it.

I want more stuff........more smarter stuff, but I don't want to pay more for it.
I'm already at absolute price-threshold.
I am sick and tired of Hasbro  gaming all of us.   Extra hands, sure.
Extra portrait--yes please, BUT make it the same as the unmasked portrait that it may come with--Banshee with sideburns on quiet head, NO SIDEBURNS on yelling head is beyond stupid.  That's a deal breaker.  Captain America in a wanted-look with a shattered shield---but give him an INTACT shield too. Give us Mockingbird with pr0per sleeves.  Get my drift--make it USEFUL.  Foot stands, flight stands. They already have this kind of common tooling.   ML has steadily eroded value for the price point. It's given us questionable sculpts, weird paint deco.....only to ...ahem "correct" it some time later.  Those fake little plastic comic-books------cute, but they are idiotic. A waste of effort and materials.  C'mon, who thought THAT was a welcome idea?? It's trash....98% of us will NEVER use those things.

Are they saying they are incompetent, that they are letting mistakes pass through??  Or is this a jerk-around game being played with loyal customers???  I want to continue to support the brand--but their policies are increasingly making me rethink that.

I'm at threshold, and I'm ready to walk away.

They simply answer is no.

Being a fellow TF collector, I understand the size class system and it doesn't translate to Marvel legends. The size class in Transformers as you mention does factor in the additional engineering (Especially as some of the Voyager sized Leaders are triple changers) that doesn't apply to Marvel legends were figures tend to use the same molds for most figures. As with the Maximum Spidey does all that tooling and accessories really add up to the same as a second figure. I have on countless times here voiced my disdain for Deluxes which are just regular figures with a fancy stand or accessory and that extends to the Maximum line.
