Shown below is the new Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Gamerverse Captain America vs Venom 2-Pack which will available for pre-order on June 12th at 1pm EDT at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.

The patriotic Super Soldier Captain America faces off against Venom and his alien symbiote powers.Cap-010.jpg

The beefier Cap looks good here, and unless I'm mistaken, it looks as if they gave him new boots as well.  The previous versions have a cut design, seam, fold, what have you, that I never quite cared for. Of course I expect this Cap is going to show again soon, this time with the upper torso scale mail, and maybe a darkened forehead "dome" under the A symbol on his mask.

I know I said I would pass on Shuma, but if that cross-armed pose pic does not sell this, I don't know what will. That pose is making this VERY tempting.

They do look new, that foot sculpt isn't generic like we usually see, and the boot cuff seems to be longer.

They should use that shade of blue when they do Quicksilver in his classic costume.

Aren't Target exclusives easy to find in Canada because they are basically fan channel exclusives and go to places like CMD store?

Imagine the backlash the Marvel Legends team will receive when the Hulk figure is revealed in this line. If the Gamerverse Hulk figure looks as good as all of these other figures do, those who spent their money on the Maximum Series Hulk are gonna be pissed. It could be the same with Spider-Man.

Of course, I'm only assuming they will release Hulk and Spider-Man figures as well in this line.

Gamespot (or EB Games now) tends to get the Target exclusive. They're getting the X-Factor Jean Grey, which is a Target exclusive

I might be in the minority but nothing shown appeals to me. I'm definitely saving money. I prefer classic comic versions that have stood the test of time, so these momentary movie & video game versions of the same characters (released many times before) is an easy pass. Meanwhile, I'll look forward to seeing if the rumored Falcon, Mandarin, The Owl, Black Bolt + Triton, Medusa + Gorgon see release.

Love that you can get Shuma into his trademark pose.

It is just majestic, brings back memories that I was suppressing, so I wouldn't buy it!

I hear you. I notice a few of these have articulation features they always should have had. Silver Samurai looks more like Grey Samurai here lol. But also, I can see the appeal these would have for those collectors that enjoyed the video game. Not my jam, but its nice for them. Outside of Shuma Gorath, though, these are all characters that have been done before. I too would be more interested in the ones you listed-  is there any hope that the Falcon, in his classic red and white costume, will be on the correct form this time out? Hmmmm.

And on an updated, larger buck, the Punisher mold perhaps? Maybe. Now that would be a perfect falcon (with a modified next joint for head tilt if this was a perfect world)

100% I am heavily invested in those inhuman 2 packs, hopefully they're not on outdated molds. I will be aggravated if that black bolt does not have the latest Hasbro articulation, just asking for love and care for Inhumans ONE TIME. Even better if all of them did, but that's expecting too much from Hasbro.

LOL. I've actually got my suspicions about if that can really be done. It looks like for the purposes of showcasing the figure they might have removed some bendy wires and popped a few joints out of whack. Not saying it isn't possible but I'm interested to see if any of these reviewers can actually make that happen. If it can then I will be thoroughly impressed.

For some reason seeing and hearing about the Green Arrow, made me think of Bowman

My assumption was an early prototype for a Dark Avengers Bullseye given we just got Moonstone and Daken, but I could be off.

Can't you get it from Toy Snowman or CMD? I've ordered from both when I missed out on a Target exclusive with no issues.

Not feeling most of the MvC offerings since I don't have nostalgia for that game and I feel like we've had so many of them in the recent past or are likely to get them again in the near future (Cap and Wolverine have to be in line for a Maximum Series release for example). Psylocke looks great, so I'll try and get her since I wasn't able to get the black hair/blue costume version back before they running changed it to purple hair/purple back in the Apocalypse wave.

FF: First Steps look great and I'll grab all of them, though it still does feel a bit of a cheat to have Torch in there twice. Totally get the desire for a flame on/flame off difference, but I kinda liked it with the Retro card FF where flame off Johnny was an exclusive rather than taking up a mainline slot.

I was just about to say the same thing. Assuming the arrow they showed is an unpainted prototype which is what they did when they showed the accessory for the X-Force Archangel, then Dark Avengers Hawkeye would make sense to go with Dark Avengers Osborne, Warbird and Wolverine. Spider-Man I think is coming at some point as well.

Lol. I hope it's an unpainted prototype since he was picking his teeth with it. DA Hawkeye would be awesome. Hopefully he'll have the Bullseye alternate head.

I planned on skipping Juggernaut and Wolverine. But, now they are SO tempting. Juggernaut looks awesome. I thought it would be a retool of the BAF. I am so happy to be wrong. I was also on the fence on Wolverine. All I could think about was 'Aw man, not another retool of the Juggernaut wave Wolverine mold. The X-Men'97 version is just getting its re-release.' New body means hopefully the disc hinge neck joint, please!

Green Arrow means that we are definitely getting Marvel vs DC line from Hasbro and Mattel collaboration!

Or Charli Ramsey Hawkeye. That is a stretch. But, Hasbro has given us so many X,Y, and Z listers that doing figures based on the new Ultimate Universe isn't impossible.

Gargantos looks great! I’m tempted to get him for my MCU display. It isn’t as big or the right color, or have the runes… but it’s as close as I’ll get to an interesting looking Dr Strange villain
