Shown below via Troy Collects are some images of the Hasbro booth at the Fan Expo Canada convention. Nothing we hadn't really already seen at SDCC but we do get a in-hand look at the Walmart exclusive Spider-Man Hellfire Gala figure.

Hasbro will have a panel at the con this coming Saturday at 11am ET.

That WWII Bucky redo is soooo needed. I can barely stand the old one up, or pose him at all with those janky "Hasbros first try at Legends" legs. I keep talking about evolution 3 packs for Legends.  And Bucky would be perfect- young version, full on assassin version, and a current Revolution look. He usually sells pretty well too, not sure why they seem to shortchange comic versions of him.

I had to use the US Amazon site.

That's what I'm afraid of. High shipping and import costs

2 items? that is it? both characters we have.... I'm disappointed.

Warned you not to expect much. Deadpool was the main reveal which they officially revealed early.

Okay, Well only 2 things, and not one of them was Marrina!!!!!! staaaphh.

On to that Mysterio, well that's a thing of beauty, what a great Mysterio, I have no reason to get it though, but it does look very nice, I'm still fine over here with my Lizard wave Mysterio.

Strong Guy, sure fine and cool for those who never built the BAF, so as someone who did I don't need this which is cool beacause I don't like the Head sculpts as much on this one, the BAF's was better.

Biggest takeaway here was Why did I think they'd finally give us Marrina? Stupid me. Who was the one who started that hope train?

Me...... both in all fairness, I have been seeing her in a few listings recently.

Great that Strong Guy is confirmed. Missed out of the BAF.  This Mysterio might be worth a purchase as it is different from the last retro version

While neither of these 2 reveals excite me, I'll still likely buy both. I have the first retro card Mysterio and the Strong Guy BAF but tend to like both of these better.

I am disappointed by no Marrina or Inhumans reveals, though. I would have been far more interested in those.

It is being reported from the Canada Fan Expo convention via TroyCollects that Hasbro will not be holding their annual online Pule-Con event this year and likely won't be doing the 1027 event either. Instead they will be focusing more on attending fall conventions such as NYCC, MCM London and LUCCA Comic and Gaming Conventions.

We learned during SDCC that Hasbro plans to sell exclusives at NYCC and MCM London this year which is something they haven't generally done in the past.

The online Pulse-Con event started during the COVID years as many conventions were shut-down, so it's not to surprising they will no longer be moving forward with it, especially when I think most collectors prefer just regular brand fan-streams to see the latest product reveals without out all the fluff of Pulse-Con, and those who attend the physical cons like to interact with the Hasbro brand members in person.

Yeah, when they didn't announce a pulse con exclusive at SDCC I kind of figure that would be the case.

It should be noted that when he was asked Dan said with MAY get a stream in September.

Did these guys just get me to buy Another Mysterio? Yes, yes they did.

And speaking of....the Strong Guy looks like a must for me. Just really, Really salty about buying some of my least wanted figures for that baf. Literally only wanted Warpath and Black Tom. Didn't really want that outfit for Sunspot, but was OK with a place holder.  Didn't even a little want either DP in that set and am not a fan of Maverick, although he turned out to be a really nice figure. I'm not sure about two Guidos with one not being the detective agency look. He looks like a huge upgrade though, and that dumbell looks fun too.

I'm not an MCU guy. I'm not hugely against it when good figures are made, but I don't usually like the looks, But I have to say, MCU Mysterio is such an upgrade on Mysterio. Definitely no offense to those who prefer his comic look (I'm usually right there with you), but I really love the Legends MCU Mysterio.  I actually probably prefer Raimiverse Goblin and Doc Ock too, but not by the same margin that I like Mysterio.

Why Hasbro giving the dumbbells and additional hands to replicate the art on the packaging but not bothering to include the smiling headsculpt from the original BAF?

I’m glad they are offering new parts and an alternate deco for Strong Guy, but overall I prefer the previous BAF.

The blue neck, the all-yellow rib cage and the yellow negative space on the X symbol of the BAF all look better to me. But it’s nice they painted the zipper this time.

The new faces are cool options, and they nailed his likeness, but I think the smiling face best represents his personality.

I was hoping they would use a brighter blue on this round of X-Factor, though.

Now I’m even more curious to see how the rumored Havok and Polaris will be different. I’m hoping Havok will have the new legs of the Strike Team body with the sculpted straps, and maybe a new, tighter-fitting jacket. And hopefully the updated body for Polaris.

And new energy effects for both. Though the energy effects of the classic Havok in yellow would suffice.

Even tho I'm happy with my Strong Guy BAF..I'm definitely getting my preorder in for Deluxe Strong Guy... those 2 new head sculpts & barbell accessory look great .. same goes for Mysterio .I passed on Retro Mysterio because I have the previous version... but TAS Mysterio is a HUGE upgrade in every way.. looking forward to having both in my Marvel Legends collection soon
