Rachel has been my holy grail for eons, so that is a yes. Feral, yes. Beast, well, as long as it beats the prior Astonishing Beast that was way too small, then heck yes. I loved the first 24 issues of Astonishing, and this gives me hope that they will come through and complete the team right with a Colossus and Kitty 2 pack.

it would be alot easier to tell what versions of Beast, and the rest are if we had the comic issue covers they are given us like we had with the original wave.

Pretty much Feral and Rachel for me. I don't really need another Silver Surfer or that Daredevil. Never been real big on that version of Beast. Unless that's a very different version of Yelena, then I'll probably pass on her too.

The mini comic gimmick is one of the lamest stunts Hasbro has done but I will give them props,  between the first wave and this one, they have crafted some fun waves.

They remind me of the early days of Toybiz, no rhyme or reason for for who's in a wave, just a bunch a rando's from all over the Marvel U..

Despite there still  being Iron Man, Wolverine,  Spiderman,  Black Widow... its not THAT version so it keeps things kinda fresh.

I really appreciate that Hasbro is stepping up and giving us some of the lesser known comic characters a lot of us have been wanting for awhile. Rachel, Feral ... thank you. I'm curious what the Silver Surfer looks like. Have we seen that yet?

Really hope Silver Surfer is on the RYV mold. It would make surfboard poses so much easier.

I see a lot of people saying this, and I just disagree. We have become way too complacent as consumers when it comes to these non-essential products; we have let these companies just do whatever, and we eat it up (I am guilty here). Silver Surfer and Spider-Man are not the same size... at all. He needs a larger body that is slender and muscular. If they can give an all-new sculpt for ROM (barely any reusability there) then they can do the same for Silver Surfer, whose practically blank body could serve wonders for a new updated body. But yeah, that would be me being too optimistic and having faith in Hasbro, which is something I genuinely do not have. But I am going to stay hoping they surprise me.

Not happy to have another Mini-Comic wave. It's probably the worse Gimmick Hasbro have done

Agreed,  I hate it. Take a dollar off and don't bother with the comic.

I already pre-ordered this Mini Comic wave 2 last night on the Walmart app .. I'll definitely looking forward to Rachel Summers Phoenix & Feral..if it is Silver Surfer im hoping it's on a modified Vulcan body sculpt...I don't need Astonishing X Men Beast but I'll take him for resale...same for ShadowLand Daredevil.     &Im also looking forward to Yelena Belova..

I kinda like the Mini-comic subline...........but just not the comics, or the price hike.   I think it's a good catch-all means of bringing out characters that don't really fit well in other waves.  ROM is a great example of this, and its one of the best figures done this year.

Better yet, take the resources used on the plastic mini-comic and put it toward more paint on the figure or another character-specific accessory.

For example, there are at least three other options for alternate heads for Rachel Summers (mullet, flaming hair, and the mouthless/masked look with the pointy eyebrows).

Anyway, only the long-awaited duo of Rachel and Feral interest me out of this wave.

Totally agree, the line is great just the gimmick is awful. ROM might be my figure of the year

I realize no one is happy with price hikes and I respect this. I also get the argument that "way back when" you got dozens more accessories (like for example Magik which was stacked on or the black widow with the explosions). I respect a business needing to protect its bottom line, especially with tariff volatility. I also share the frustration that prices will go up to meet current financial struggles but never go down. There is a perceived pay more for the same or less mentality. While I understand all of this, I will say I feel like we have gotten more this year in terms of FX's. Dear lord it's been a golden year for FX's. The new lighting that originally came with Francine Frye (yes reused on No Way Home electro and storm but who cares? It's awesome.), New cyclops optic blast. New Psylocke blade and dual motion pieces in the gamer verse wave. New wolverine slash effect in the gamerverse wave. The shield that comes with MCU Invisible Woman. How about the upcoming Rachel summers wings? FINALLY worth while Jubilee FX's on the '97 wave 3. This year has been incredible for this. While prices are going up I am choosing to make efforts to partially understand and say at least I am getting something for money. And while yes Magik came with a bunch of accessories, inflation is a real thing we all deal with over time, shrinkflation is a real strategy businesses use when things get economically difficult. I would however rather have Francine Frye lighting or the new Psylocke effects in the gamerverse wave than the crappy blue lightning that came with Magik, the crappy circular effect that came with hundreds of figures in every color (came with 90s havoc and Polaris 2 pack, Family Matters magneto etc), the crappy wrist effects that came with old Jubilees, the new 97 jean grey and hundreds of figures, or the effects that came with dazzler over and over. Im not happy about price hikes but on some level I see some value out of the increased cost. The annoying unacceptable figures are '97 Rouge-- two spare hands and no alternate head sculpt. By no means am I defending hasbro... but I also recognize the economic reality and would rather have legends at $27.99 than no legends at all because the company could no longer produce them in a profitable way. In the meantime, I'll live partly in denial that at least I am seeing something for my money I was not getting before.

That said, let me be clear... exempt from this statement and defense is the waste of money that is tiny comics. Love the concept, shameful execution. Keep the comic wave concept but make the front of the retrocard the comic cover. No one wants or will have any use for a tiny plastic comic. The tiny comic is a waste of money and effort.

I think with the tooling for the comic, and the tampo for each, Hasbro could have reprinted the actual full-sized comic related to the character, in colour, with cross-sell on the back cover, just like the old ToyBiz reprints.
If they pared down the accessories on the figures, just a analyzer for ROM, no extra hands etc--that kind of thinking--then ( I think) it would have costed out.......and we'd still have a tremendously appealing figure set, with very good value-for-the-dollar.
I mean, what's the draw here to offset the production cost??
Rom, as an example is a sought-after character, the spoken response has been very good......so why not make a few more to anticipate covering that interest and make up for actual printed comic??  Are the dollar numbers that spread out that they cannot take a reasonable gamble??
I don't know....

I hope more never before seen or made figures for various lines. Always excited for a fan stream. Hopefully it's not 30 mins or something like that only LOL.

I was hoping the same, but then Dan comes out today and sets the expectations low as hell (but he does this often), he said "tomorrow will not be filled with a lot of new reveals..." so I think all we are gonna see is confirmation on preorder dates on stuff they have shown, a replica item, and the mini comic wave 2. I hope we also see that warbow wave in totality as well, but by the sounds of his post, those will be saved for a later time.

You are absolutely right, which is why hasbo feels that they can put out whatever figure they want without concerns about details, quality or price. Because they know complacent customers will buy it anyway.

Silver Surfer, case in point- the walgreens one had a spectacular paint job, but was way too small ( just like Ms.Marvel /Warbird, Falcon, Moon Knight, their first Vision, Blue Marvel and Firelord). They re-issued the Surfer for the hasblab, but it wasn't as shiny and still was undersized (he's supposed to be 6'4"). They may correct this but I've the feeling they're gonna save the TRUE correct version down the line, or stick it in some platform that will cost over $50.00.  But I'll be happy if they prove me wrong on this.

And knowing Hasbro, that's what it is going to take for us to get a decent Silver Surfer. If somehow Hasbro shows off a silver surfer not on a small ass body and possibly even a new sculpt, I would be floored. But again, why do that when you can release a rehash and wait a year and charge double? Please, Hasbro surprise me.

I liked those circular effects, as they reminded me of “Kirby Dots” and they worked pretty good for a lot of characters, but yes they were becoming overused.

I am absolutely thrilled with all of the new energy effects. Rachel’s wings look fantastic, Psylocke’s accessories are amazing and we are finally getting an optic blast with every Cyclops. I love it!

I’m skipping 97 Jubilee, but love those pyrotechnic effects. I really hope they are included with a future Generation X Jubilee, but maybe with a better mix of colors.

Hopefully in the near future they will give Jean a variety of new telekinetic and telepathic effects. And Gambit is in need of new charged card and card throwing effects. And Synch’s aura could look really cool.

I don't know....

I enjoyed the character-specific printed comics back when Marvel Legends began, but would not want them today if it meant less paint or accessories.
