Would love an armor, really cool if they could figure out how to have the armor removable, and Danger. No one ever mentions danger...

I am excited at the prospect of a new colossus, but I hope it can double as a classic colossus. I need a few for various teams, depending what direction they go I might be waiting five more years for a classic one. So... hopeful but anxious on Colossus.

The Silver Surfer would have been a purchase for me if Hasbro had done one simple thing: adding a second peg on his surfboard for stability. I could go without the pinless joints and grabbing hands if the surfboard had an additional peg.

I'm excited for Iceman. I can finally get rid of the 2016 Juggernaut figure. We haven't had a 616-Bobby since 2019's X-Men retro wave.

Deathbird has been on my want list for a long time. I will definitely be getting that 2 pack.

A new Gladiator and he comes with Deathbird! As someone who started collecting around the time the Apocalypse wave became impossible to find, I am so hyped.

I never mind lore and explanations of stuff, so don't take this as defensive or in any way negative. I dont think I have the issue where her wings get ripped off, (what was that actually in?) But i definitely have stuff where she doesn't have them. I don't think she has the wings when she's the Queen of the Shi'ar, which I thought was cool.  Shes still a baddie and its also an awesome look. I more meant why didn't they make the version, I assume, most people picture and want that has wings. After waiting so long for this character, I'm still waiting for the version I want the most. Like Namorita, Mandarin, Crimson Dynamo, and many others.

And that Genis-Vell was awesome, one of my favorites in the TB line. And a great underrated comic series.

I believe that was uncanny X-Men #276 ....and I don't take your post as negative at all. I get it, I myself would prefer her original look with wings. But I'll give credit where its due, and this version theyre doing looks great.

She could be in a wave with Ms. Marvel, Captain Mar-Vell,  Genis-Vell, Raza and Hepzibah (to round out the Starjammers at last). Maybe even a BAF.

I am holding out hope that the Colossus is an all-new sculpt with improved range all around. And once that happens, it's tough for me to see them doing armor. She is quite complicated to handle from an engineering perspective. I guess they could be whack and do a "2 pack" or just do the armor and she isn't visible, or have just her head visible, or as an additional head, idk will be interesting to see how that would turn out.

I’m sure they can figure her out. Even if they have to make her a made to order figure like Mephisto or Dragon Man I’d be down for it.

Seeing Surfer and Iceman on exact same "shoulder deficient" bodies they had years ago sucks, them being pinless does little when bodies aren't too good.  I would rather see Hasbro reuse RYV/Deadpool body or Vulcan for these two. On other hand, I love Feral and Rachel, Widow, Beast and Gladiator are decent updates, its great to get Deathbird but I wish she had another head with different expression.

Not a bad stream.

Not interested in everything but that's ok.

  • Astonishing Beast. (Looks great). Initially I wasn't sure. I don't have any of the astonishing figures. But Wolverine is getting a re-release apparently. So I feel like if I want to pick up any of the astonishing? Now would be the time before Beast becomes stupid expensive. I repainted a gray beast for my 97 collection.
  • Silver Surfer. I do not yet have a Silver Surfer. Sounds like his Board may be a bit meh from comments here. But I could pose him with Shalla Bal from First Steps who has a great board/effect.
  • Retro Mystique (Hope she's not a pain in the butt like Psylocke).
  • Retro Mysterio (I would have liked a comic version but I think this will still be a pickup). (Now if they would re-release the Lizard, etc.)
  • Gamerverse 2 pack (Definitely a pickup. I didn't get the 2 pack with Punisher/Bushwhacker. Punisher looked great but I really don't care about Bushwhacker. Nick Fury is more desirable to me).

Oh I also forgot... That tease? The gold bars?
Could it be a Felicia Hardy/Black Cat?

I'm really pleased with they showed yesterday. Lot's of X-Men stuff.

I'm definitely getting Outback Storm, Phoenix, and Feral. I didn't think I needed and Iceman, but I really like it. They did a good job with the accessories.

Deathbird looks amazing. The only one left from Uncanny 275 is Zaladane. I wonder if we'll get her before Outback Psylocke. 😄

I noticed how female heavy my list of upcoming purchases is. I think there are still a few female characters that could be made. It made me wonder if there are any "must-make" male characters left. There are probably still a few more "classic" Wolverine characters that could be made, of course. 🤪

I don't know if I will be able come up with the funds, but I like that Punisher and Nick Fury set.

I'm glad Hasbro is phasing out BAF's. I rarely buy full waves so I'm always stuck with random parts that I end up donating to my local resale shop. Hopefully they'll just release bigger figures as deluxe single packs in the near future.

you do realise we the next wave will be a baf wave? They aren't phasing them out. They will continue to be part of the line. They just are spread apart more.

I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum as @AnotherPunckChef in regard to BAFs.

I wouldn't have many of favorite figures if it wasn't for the BAF. It's pretty unlikely that characters like Armadillo, Bonebreaker, Ch'od, Caliban, Controller, Fin Fang Foom, the Kree Sentry, the Mandroid armor, the Mindless Ones, Mr. Hyde, Genocide/Holocaust/Nemesis, Puff Adder, Brood Queen, Rintrah, Stilt-Man, Titus, Theta Sentinel, Ursa Major, Warlock, Zemnu and others would have gotten a stand-alone release.

At a time where I don't really ever want to buy another version of any of the A-Listers ever again, it's the obscure characters that I still collect for after being in on this line since Day 1 with Toy Biz. The BAF is one of the only ways for us to get these characters that Hasbro doesn't likely believe would sell well enough on their own to bother with.

Long live the BAF!

Agreed, I'm all about the BAF program, and because it provides us with so many larger obscure or less known characters that would never have a chance at retail as a stand alone release, on another hand I also dislike BAF waves for the fact, it tends to make you buy figures you only need for a BAF piece, spending extra money and having to get rid of unwanted figures isn't that much of a delight, but Again it's all worth it to get some very excellent Gems and Hasbro tends to really go for that model, the more odd, also with BAF waves we also get more obscure cuts in characters since they available because they are driven by the BAF piece, so no to anyone who wants BAF waves phased out... think again, NO BAFs waves / BAFs would hurt this line to no end, it would just be constant churning out of the same popular characters (which it partly already is)

They have certainly moved away from BAF waves, when once the only waves were BAF waves, we have slowly seen Legends become a more on card back oriented line sans BAFs, while there once used to be like 9 BAF waves a year, lately it's been greatly reduced to 2-3 a year. Fine, because if I'm going fork out all the dough on 6 figures for a BAF, don't make me do it 10 times a year LOL.

Long Live the BAF Club member!

Exactly. There is no way that Armadillo for example would ever be place on a store shelf and sell. They need the BAF program to sell these figures. Not only that but these sculpt are usually unique enough that they can't really be used again.

I mean who can you use Armadillo for? Ursa Major can only really be used for Grizzly. Except for Shaper of Worlds who else do you see Bonebreaker becoming. They need the BAF program to give us character we wouldn't get otherwise.

The BAF program isn't going anywhere. It's just been reduced to 3 fan channel waves a year and I'm all for that.

Count me in the anti-BAF contingent, and I'm glad Hasbro seems to moving away from that model. As prices rise, shelf space dwindles, and the hassles of acquiring figures increases (immediate sell-outs, store exclusives, etc.), the last thing I want to have to do is buy more, unwanted figures just to get the BAF piece. I usually had to resort to overpriced eBay to get the completed BAF I wanted. If Hasbro just released the figure as a deluxe or a two-pack, that would make acquiring the BAF much easier and cheaper than the aftermarket.

It has never occurred to me that BAFs are obscure characters, and that doesn't seem to be case definitively. There are both obscure and non-obscure BAFs so I don't see a trend either way. Obviously, what's obscure will be in the eye of the beholder but we've had Juggernaut, Hulk, Hulkbuster, Odin, Rhino, Thanos, Ultron, Abomination, Absorbing Man, Giant Man, Man Thing, Sandman, Apocalypse, Kingpin, Lizard, Sasquatch, Wendigo, Sauron, Venom, Colossus, Watcher, Ch'od, and Warlock as BAFs. To me, those are popular, non-obscure characters.

I always thought BAFs originally were a way for Hasbro to release oversized figures since they can spread out the oversized parts in several packages. Now, that's not an issue as they have released BAF-size figures as deluxe standalone figures or in two-packs.

One obscure figure that they're about to release as a two-pack is Champion, which I'm excited for. So, that's one example of an obscure figure that isn't a BAF. Beyonder and Molecule Man also seem obscure to me, and they were released as standalone figures. It seems to me that both obscure and non-obscure characters can be released as BAFs or standalone figures.

I’m so happy for Rachel and Feral. Got my preorders in.

I’m not fond of the mini comics, as I’d rather have more paint and character-specific accessories, but I like that they did the wrap-around cover for X-Force #1 with Feral.

Rachel’s hair is too brownish. And hope the lighting is washing out the red. The in-hand copy they had looked like the faded red they used on Husk and Monet, rather than the nice and bright red in the renders of Rachel. And I wish the wings had more of a color gradient, fading from red into yellow, like the deluxe Phoenix firebird which looks fantastic.

Why didn’t they use the Wolfsbane mold for Feral? I thought they once said the long delay in getting Wolfsbane was due to needing all new tooling for the fur, yet they don’t use it for the most obvious candidate for reuse? Will they use it for Hepzibah?

Deathbird looks great, but I don’t want Gladiator. They should have been single releases. If Deathbird had to be in a 2-pack, there are better choices. D’Ken, Lilandra in her black spider suit, a Shi’ar royal guard, Hepzibah, Raza, or one of the many other members of the Imperial Guard.

I appreciate the new ice blast effects for Iceman, but that old, tiny ice “slide” is disappointing. I think I’ll wait and hope for a maximum or deluxe Iceman with a giant ice slide.

I'm well pleased with these offerings! I'm most excited for Champion and Starfox, especially because I've wanted a figure of Champion for oh...40 years, lol. Really happy to see an 80s grey suit Black Widow on the new body! And that Gameverse Punisher/ Fury set.....I....thing I really want that!

I used to hate the BAF concept, but as I got more into collecting. I appreciated them because if I do not want to complete the BAF. I can always sell the BAF piece and make some of my money back. I am cutting down on Legends because I do not have the money to spend on it. The quality has dipped a little IMO and I do not feel like I am getting my money's worth despite the price hike.

You know, now that we are finally getting Rachel to complete Excalibur, I wouldn’t mind updates to the other members. Nightcrawler in Alan Davis style with a mullet, an improved Shadowcat with more accurate curly hair, and maybe Meggan with a better hair sculpt that won’t tip her over. And Captain Britain in his second costume.

Throw in Widget somewhere.

And while this Rachel we are getting is fantastic, I would also love a deluxe take on Rachel with more alternate heads (mullet, flaming hair, and the mouthless/masked look with the pointy eyebrows) and a base with larger spread-out flame wings.

And characters from later issues like Cerise, Douglock and Wolfsbane in mid-morph with a ponytail.

Didn't get in time for Rachael or Widow, but ordered for 24.99 and canceled my Amazon orders for the guys. Hope this holds!!

Yeah I suspected that Racheal and Feral would be hot sellers, I wasn't going to hesitate or wait and find out, because I must have them, I pre-ordered the second they went up, I said poo poo to regular retail channels and just used my go to local toy store, a bit more expensive, but they are super reliable and some how get the product faster then anybody.

The two figures that fans have been waiting years for to complete their teams are selling fast? Who'd have thunk it?
