Is it just me, or is it not up on Amazon yet?

Yeah.. the link on Amazon is not working for me either and I also couldn't find the 2-pack using the search botton.

Yet over 3 weeks ago on the Marvel Legends Fanstream that took place on September 9th, he announced that the Starfox/Champion of the Universe 2-Pack, WOULD be on Amazon (as well as being a Fan Channel exclusive). He not only said it, but there was also a "Cue" card that had the information as well.

You can't tell me, that it wasn't known then, that it wouldn't be offered on Amazon.

All I'm sayin', is be accurate with the information you are presenting publicly.

What an empty Box. I get that the Deathbird tooling was probably expensive and they did the figure justice, honestly, Its just so... empty.

what are you talking about. With Gladiator and his accessories the box look fairly full. Just because she doesn't come with stuff doesn't make it look empty.

I, for one, think they did an amazing job with Deathbird. If they ever did get around to doing this character, I was expecting just a generic repaint. They put a lot into Deathbird and I am psyched to get her. If I didn't already have a decent Gladiator, I'd feel the same about him. Both are great looking figures.

Errors get made. Dan just became brand manager after Ryan Ting was laid off right before San Diego Comic Con. A bunch of people were laid off since then, as well. And Hasbro is threatening to upend a lot of its employees' lives (including Dan, his wife, and his baby) with the announcement that they're gonna move their headquarters from Rhode Island to Boston.  September 9th was Dan and Dwight's first stream without Ryan and without one of Hasbro's main video producers. As of October 1st, Dan thought the two pack was still going up on Amazon. He had the wrong info. I guarantee he posted the correction as soon as he found out.

Considering everything he and others have been dealing with over there in Pawtucket, let's cut the guy and his colleagues a little slack.

Yeah I preordered Iceman, still not sure if I actually care, but I thought I'd just lock it in just in case, might cancel when the time comes around or just take it and examine it IRL and see, it's certainly doing a ton of things better then the Vintage figure, but at the same not that must have for me, the Vintage figure has downfalls, like the head, but I like it's coloring and it's not totally clearness, so we will just see how I feel when it's going to get released.

I ordered 3- one for my sentinel battle display, one for my X-Factor display (I have a hard time seeing them do another one of these specific to X-factor so close to the release of this one- I could see an alternate or more modern version of the the character rather than the classic) and one for my Jim lee display. I have the Marvel Selects one in main battle display, I love his effects, but HATE his joints and size. I actually superglued the joints to keep them stable. I was not happy about buying three, but having none of the previous iterations and not knowing when they will return to him, I decided to go all in. Hate the shoulders.

Man, it's so about that Nick Fury for me, that's a gem, Frank is great too, but if they both were Single packed I'd maybe pass on Frank, but I do love it, that gray/blue is very cool, and It's different enough from the other Punishers I have, Also this game is a favorite of mine, I still play it pretty often, so this pack just hits. I really though just adore that Fury, I mean for the longest time this was just in my head as definitive Fury.

also weird lil thing....2Pac as Bishop? what's this crossover? I didn't know I needed.

The head sculpts on these guys are incredible.  Just really well done.

How do we get heads like this, and then Phoenix Jean Grey looks just awful? 🙂

But overall, Hasbro has been killing head sculpts lately, particularly in Legends and Black Series.

Didn't people used to say that about blood too? And then we got the Logan 2-pack?

which was part of a SDCC set and nowhere else. Even then Marvel has had a strict and I mean strict no smoking policy on their merchandise. It's the reason wolverine has stopped smoking.

Speaking of Punisher, it's probably matter time (1-2 years) before we get classic version of him on Secret Wars card, but the skull design from og figure had goofy eyes so I can see people being disappointed in that version.

Hasbro, purposly do things wrong to not to give us "definetive" versions of the characters. This was a nice Punisher option, but they did wrong the aplication on the leg, so later they can sell it again without that mistake. Yes is a mistake because in the videogame is an actual single thicker belt. Why tha F they paint in such horrible way? Anyways, easy pass!

It does often feel like Hasbro does "not quite right" figures to incentivize people to pick up an improved version later, but...... do you really think they're going to sell a second version of Capcom 1993 Punisher?  lmao

I think in actuality a lot of, if not most "not quite right" features are genuinely just weird flubs/poor attention to detail, but in this case I think it's more likely a budget constraint ("do we want to spend the money to make a single-wide-band leg holster mold that we're going to use only one time, or do we want to make a double-normal-band leg holster mold that we're almost certainly going to use multiple more times on other Punishers and other characters, and just make up the difference on this figure with a paint app").

I recently played through the game in that MvC Compilation. It was a fun time!
I kind of like how he has this blue look, and that would kind of complement Blue Venom. I still would want a classic black and white Punisher like that War Journal one. But I really didn't want to buy a 2-pack with Bushwhacker that I don't give a rat's *** about.

That is one area where I would agree Hasbro has been doing well. The face printing tech has in general been pretty great. That Logan Headsculpt from the DP&Wolverine film I feel matches up pretty favorably to the Mafex.

That is what customs/Customizing are for! Grid Iron studios sells all manner of accessories for 1/12 scale. I bought a wired whip for Indy there. Came with a torch and such too. It is a bit pricey, but at $17 if you really want a cigar for Fury? You can get that and a smoke effect and a whole box of "stogies" as Uncle Lewis would call them.

I'd like a classic black and white Punisher on a retro card so I don't have to pay for a Bushwhacker.

Like Maximum Spidey being dark (so they can sell a lighter version later).

Or a Maximum Hulk with a lot of reuse and a rubber overlay that is starting to tear for some folks, so they can sell you a gamerverse Hulk later. (Which I won't lie...I'd buy a gamerverse Hulk...if it was like the Juggernaut.

Or a battle damaged Spidey with no neck articulation versus using the new Maximum Spidey buck.

Or literally any female legends figure that still uses the outdated shriek buck sans ab crunch when they have the Psylocke buck now.
