I was going to say that I'm fine with my old Hyperion bod Gladiator....until I saw the comparison, lol. While I'd have preferred the earlier look of Deathbird, I'm definitely getting this now!

Really looking forward to this two pack. I prefer the OG look for Deathbird but its cool...another character off my want list.

It's so about Deathbird for me, What a stunner, and this is the outfit for her I actually prefer, love the Giger/Dune vibes, I was a bit on the fence on Gladiator, I know I'm pretty alone here but the Hyperion buck doesn't bug me, it's got it's charm, in all it's sucky glory that I accept, But this Gladiator is a banger! I always thought Glads was a cool character, and so I'm happy to give him some update love, and when he comes with this evil beaut yeah I'm in, The only problem now is where is the old gladiator going to go, no one will pay the adoption fee, unless I like send it off for 5 bucks, and It was a hard figure to get back when I did, stupid apocalypse head tax. 

awesome 2 pack, Now would this pack have just been that much cooler if it nixxed Glads and we got like D'Ken or something super cool like Oracle, Hussar or Nightside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The tubes looks really bad and I see no way they can be removed. Deathbird's sculpt otherwise is nice. But this was a pass for me.

My ADHD brain just realized that we have painted on belt on Gladiator, that's truly shameful, would it hurt Hasbro that much to put some thin belt on him? I do appreciate that we got pinless arms but painted on belts are super lame for collector level line.

Painted boots are worse. And they keep doing them (the '97 two pack Jean Grey is the latest example).

I put this on the sightings and Hauls thread, but if you didn't see it, Gladiator's cape works really nicely for Daimon Hellstorm. It isn't perfect, but it is the same colors and the high collar is close. He also has the peg hole in his back, and it helps hide his slumpy shoulders. It's a touch tall, but it holds him up for actiony poses!

I agree, but Hasbro has been pretty good with putting add on soft plastic belts, it always seemed it wasn't expensive for them like sculpting new boots.
