Marvel Unlimited Launches Thor/Shazam! Infinity Comic Crossover One-Shot

Thor/Shazam!, an Infinity Comic crossover one-shot by Al Ewing and Jethro Morales, is now available exclusively on Marvel Unlimited. This follows Marvel's successful Deadpool/Batman #1 crossover one-shot and comes just before DC releases Batman/Deadpool #1, another crossover one-shot due out later this month.

The new Thor/Shazam! Infinity Comics story on Marvel Unlimited, Marvel’s digital comics subscription service is available to all new and existing subscribers. Though for a limited time, all fans can redeem a digital copy of this brand-new crossover story by using code CROSSOVER25 at Marvel.com/redeem. This digital comic offer is valid until 12/17/2025 11:59 PM ET and requires a Marvel user account and internet connection. A Flash/Fantastic Four DC GO! digital comics crossover one-shot from DC by Jeremy Adams and Adrián Gutiérrez, is also available now on DC Universe Infinite.
 

To celebrate this new digital crossover initiative, Marvel and DC plan to offer each of their subscribers in the US an exclusive code for a 30-day free trial to each other's subscription service, Marvel Unlimited and DC Universe Infinite. I really love that for some wacky reason we are seeing Marvel & DC crossing over right now, it's just so full of potential, sadly it won't amount to anything outside of books, but it would be so very cool if we had 2 packs with 6'' Legend-eque DC characters, but that's a dream scenario. 

would Hasbro and Mattel ever collab? would theyy??

They'd probably do a thing where Thor calls down the lightning and transforms him back to Billy, or something.  Actually, did this ever happen in either Marvel vs DC or JLA/Avengers?  that feels familiar...

Never happened, and it wouldn't work since Billy has to say Shazam to turn transform

Well Zeus did it to him in the injustice comic series. Not sure of any other instance.

Well Zeus's Power is part of SHAZAM, so it makes sense for his lightning to affect him

Nope, he's literally getting struck by a random bolt of lightning and changing back to Billy.  Nothing magical about the lightning at all.

someone would have to make the lightning hit him to change him back though. Someone like Shazam or Zeus.

Nope, that's not what's happening here.  He's just in a crazy (but non-magical, entirely pedestrian in that regard) storm, gets hit by normal lightning because there's so much of it, and changes.  The only magic involved is the Wizard showing up and bidding him to change back before he freezes to death.  The issue is Power of Shazam #20 btw.  It's a Final Night tie-in.
