In the slide, you are seeing the top of the presenter's head.

Lol I'm sure they could stuff that in the box too. 🫣😅

My bad!

It looks like only one Lizard head has an articulated mouth (not the one in the booth photos).  It's an excellent looking figure, but I don't know if I actually need it.  The only Spidey villain I'm displaying right now is MCU Mysterio, but I guess a Lizard could go with Spinneret, Gwen, and the two Spiderwomen.

I used the OG BAF Lizard head to make a custom Lizard for my MCU. I cut down the MCU lizard head to fit inside it. (Saw a fellow collector on Reddit do the mod and I thought it worked well for a more comic accurate MCU lizard). The only thing is they used the same tail. Wonder if the MCU Lizard Tail would peg on?

That's a great reveal, we have two cases of smart reuse. I've wanted a McFarlane-looking Lizard for a while now. Of course, I would have preferred if they had made him pinless, but that BAF was an underrated sculpt. Even in these con pics, I can tell it desperately needs some dark wash to make the sculpt really shine. Likewise, Red She-Hulk is another smart reuse of an underrated figure.

I don't mind reuse where it makes sense like this. It saves them money and it makes a figure available again for new collectors and they at least did update him with a 2nd head, etc. But I wish they went a bit further to update the tail as well.

Red Shulk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, well it's red shulk and I have been asking for it for a very long time, I had suspected this was what this figure would look like, is it phoned in? Yes, I will still get it because despite it being 95% re-use, it looks damn awesome!

Lizard..hmmm...I like what I see, but I also feel like I should say no, I already have the BAF and I have the retro, so what's really the point for me, for everyone else...this is pretty neato, I'm loving it, Mcfartland inspired head, colors...I love that old BAF body (hate that tail though ick), Ultimately I should pass on this Lizard it really doesn't need to be part of my collection.

Andrew' Spidey, okay...nokay for me,  but I see what they are doing here and it feels right to be part of the old movie re-release subline, I got zero interest, but I can see some people being stoked to see this again, it was a pretty good figure.

As far as Lizard, I agree with Lone Wolf that it should have had a new tail. They definitely were aware that we hated that tail, even referenced it in a live stream. I really like the iconic cover the second head represents. I want it, but not enough to pay for a deluxe. If it had a new head- new paint apps- And a new tail I probably would bite. I do love this character, and he probably won't go on sale if history repeats so IDK, but I should stay strong, lol.

Spidey is just for people who missed him.

Red She Hulk is kinda cool, but I'm not enamored. I'd rather have Harpy, her current iteration. And those Sais weren't that important to the character to include. Really makes me think we are getting a much needed Elektra update on the super articulated body!!!

I hate that Spidey. So, they can't include the unmasked head because they are using the No Way Home packaging. Hasbro could have at least compensated by giving back the extra hands, not skimping on those even more.

The bro got you too? 😅😋

But yeah that Red She Hulk looks great. I will probably pick her up. The Retro She Hulk was mostly reuse too but had her Fantastic Four outfit. Essentially a repaint, but at least they did give her an updated head and dumbbell accessories and more hands as a bit of a tradeoff. If they are going to do reuse (which is inevitable) I at least like to see some new stuff thrown in.

spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.png

So I wanted to look at the BAF Lizard again. I kind of like the tongue being displayed. (Used it for a MCU Lizard custom). I thought initially when the first slides were shown and said it was a BAF re-release they reused the BAF head, but no looks like two different all new head sculpts here? I do not yet have a comic lizard so this is a no brainer for me. I like that you effectively get two different looks.

Think the MCU Lizard tail would fit the same Peg?

I think the two heads are both new? That more lizard reptilian/dino head is definitely different than the BAF Lizard. No tongue showing. Not sure if the jaw articulates. Which was one of the cooler parts of that BAF Head.

I hope we get Elektra on the psylocke body.

Agree. Every spidey should at minimum come with two web-slinging hands and two wallcrawling hands. How can Spidey "Do whatever a Spider can" when he doesn't have the do whatever a spider can hands?

This is just an evergreen figure. Just getting it out again for people that missed it. It's like the Captain America, Iron Spider, and both version of MCU Iron man. They aren't going to put in a whole lot of effort into a figure that is essentially a straight repaint/re-release.

Wouldn't most collectors want the unmasked head for Spidey? Seems odd to sell this version. Wasn't the 3 pack No Way Home available for quite awhile (I remember the preorder selling out quickly though)?

I'm not that knowledgeable about the Thunderbolts and Red She-Hulk. Is she Elektra (guessing Elektra because of the sais)?

Yeah, they got us with the initial release, doing the unmasked heads, then following it up with individual releases without masks.  Still a little bitter about that.

Red She Hulk is Betty Ross.

Was finally able to get my preorder in for Deluxe Lizard after it initially SOLD OUT in the first 5 minutes..as of now it's still up for preorder          I also got my preorder in for             Red She Hulk at BBTS.. I've been a fan of the character since it's debut in Red Hulk's title back in the late 2000s...as far as Marvel Legends Lizard..I had missed out on both the BAF & Retro versions.. so I'm happy to be able to get this version

Yes, that tail is horrible, retro Lizard tail is much better, Tbh I would have been fine if they reused retro Lizard body with new hands and feet + McFarlane head and soem much needed paint.

Yeah see really Red Shulk would have been lovely on that new She Hulk buck, that was what I had hoped for, but I do like the Modern She Hulk build as well, just not as much of what I would have wanted, does She look good as I have said, YES, I already pre-ordreded her.

Yeah If someone didn't have the Retro Lizard or the BAF (I have both) I would say this new Lizard is pretty rad, of course sadly yes that Tail is absolute dookie in both looks and composition, it's just bad engineering, I actually display my BAF Lizard without it, and just hide the fact he has no tail, I do really like this new Lizard, but I feel like I have no reason to buy it so I'm not, also I do like the BAF more in terms of that head, the Dino stylized head is so awesome and yes the Tongue is so great, the new figures heads are both interesting-ish mainly the Mcfarlane style head the other one I'm not even sure of the source material, and yes it looks like the jaw articulates but I don't see any evidence it does.

The MCU Lizard's tail likely won't plug into this new lizard, I'm just guessing, because both of those torso molds are very different in design, but the MCU Lizard as awful as it is to me, that tail is superior.

this lady going to pass on Lizard, but Red Shulk is a must, still hope we get another version down the road on that new Retro Shulk buck, with her jumpsuit /leotard look, Since she didn't really wear this ripped gear in the comics, yes she did have a ripped outfit, but this is a mish-mash, so they could re-use that old build, the harness on the front of her top is right, but bottom half is wrong..she didn't wear jeans, well I could also stand to be corrected and this is accurate to source material, but I have thoughts it's not.

This is really missing the Andrew Garfield headsculpt...

Definitely a rights issue thing, that's why the original 3-pack didn't include unmasked heads and why the single card release was branded ASM2. What this figure really should have included is all 6 hands from the 3-pack, it feels incredibly cheap for them not to.
