Ok, so this was a most excellent FanStream!

I'm in for I Love You 3000 Iron Man and love the idea!

I'm not really a MCU collector, but this D&W wave is much better than I expected. Cassandra Nova is the absolute must have for me and I like that they included the creepy fingers through the head. I didn't really expect to want any of the others but X-23 is so much better than I could have dreamed and I absolutely love Dafne Keen. I really don't want to want them but I think that I might have to get Blade, Cowboy Deadpool, Deluxe Deadpool with Dogpool and Brown Suit Wolverine as well. The battle damaged Wolverine might be the only one that I skip.

Grizzly is a must have. Love it! I would have like more differentiation from the Ursa Major figure, but the palette swap is a good start. 

I'm definitely in for the Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider and red motorcycle. I kind of dig the alternate head as well. 

I'm in for the Abomination, but am mildly annoyed at the pinned legs. I also was hoping for more new sculpt rather than so much re-use from the Gamerverse Abomination. It's still a buy for me.

Astonishing Collossus and Kitty are buys as well. 

Yes, I'll be buying the Punisher mech unless they just put a ridiculous price point on it. 

Redwing is a nice tease for the Secret Wars Falcon. I couldn't care less about the Smart Hulk gun, though. 

All in, all a very ice FanStream. Grizzly and the MCU Cassandra Nova were the highlights for me, personally.

Oh, for sure. The image just got into my head, and I was picturing that as the look. I didn't mean it as a criticism of anyone. That is an iconic cover I've seen a lot as well. So, I did picture that being the look we were gonna get.

They delivered with the D&W wave. Some typical Hasbro shenanigans here and there, but not at all a deal breaker. Still don't know what's goin on with Reynolds' likeness rights, though. All in all, great reveals today throughout. A happy ending for 2025.

Okay here's my thoughts, and I just stole Tarot's template

IRON MAN In Pink!!!! OMG cute, Must have it. stupid...cute must have. 

• D+W wave 2 - These look really good, some excellent likeness's and attention to details, but I don't do Movie figures, I do really love the X-23 and Blade is super fun, but as I will...Passing is what I shall do. 
• Grizzly!!! - Okay, Okay Grizzly! super wild and not expected, Do I love to see it for sure, do I wish it was a bit more different then Ursa Major sure..but does it make sense yes....must I have it ? YES, totally cool. 
• Classic Ghost Rider - I felt like I was done with Ghost Riders, but guess I was wrong, this thing made my lil eyes pop out, it's fantastic, I really gotta say...I can't say no to this, it's a wonderful figure
• Abomination - Okay......You almost got it, but you didn't, I want to love this more, but I can't say I'm very amused by the use of the Gamerverse build...it's not classic, you dorks LOL...anyways that being said...this is a real potential buy if only for it's bigness, it's just not exactly what I wanted, but it's close...but now I'm sad we are going to have to wait another 6 years for the right Abomination. 
• Kitty and Colossus - Nice to see the Astonishing X-Men get rounded out, for those who care, I myself don't, and I'm not building that team, I have a kitty and a colossus...I'm going to pass, but I do really like that Kitty..she looks lovely, if she was a single release I'd have gone for it, but I'm not buying a 2 pack for her, Colossus isn't doing a thing for me.
• Punisher Hulkbuster - Does this look pretty darn Badass? Uh yeah...do I also kinda just not care about it Yeah..I'm not sure, I need to marinate, it's like a 90% No for me, 10% aaw but it's so keeewwll. 
• Instantly....Smart Hulk gun, Redwing for SW Falcon.... I'm sure we all thought that...

Its really this simple. Alot great new stuff articulation scuplt, leveling up. Then in the same wave or the same old hasblow. But I might go out of my way and say this was one of there strongest livestream reveals because the product they revealed was at minimum solid. Couldn't be happier regarding the bat release in single form and FINALLY a great abomination. With the smart hulk tease and more hulk, I just love hulk related content.

 

My biggest problem with the live stream was the fact that the sculpted a new torso for the wolvie but kept that abomination of a torso for the dirty version??? Make that make sense, and yes ik the line scuplt difference. But cmon the torso is downright terrible. But ups for the brown suit that looks important level (honestly better). It shows that when they are given the chance (+finicial assurance) and care about the product they deliver and when they dont we get a silver surfer with a sunfire body in 2025.

Every single time. Look at both thier lizard single releases. One using a torso older than a freshman in high-school and another thats reusing an entire mold 7 yrs old that kinda sucks. But I gotta say the new paint job and Ursa head really selling it for me.

Ik everyone doesn't have an affinity for whedons astonishing but I am infatuated by some of the designs. And considering this looks to be by in large the best colossus on the market (as it should be since its been yrs of someone making him not including the movie version), instant purchase with glee even tho I am not interested in the Katy figure because I am not even completing the astonishing team I just want a colossus that doesnt suck!

Kitty's non-ponytail head is only so-so, but I really like that ponytail version.  Kitty is a character who too often gets a dopey grin. Excalibur Kitty has one too.  Big smiles look better in art than in 3D, figure form.

Yeah, that yellow and blue suit body had a lot of issues, mostly proportionally speaking. And yes the new one with the brown suit looks great. I like that look more anyway, so I'm happy. Still, I get your point.

Impressive outing, I really wasnt expecting much.

That Deadpool MCU wave is phenomenal. Im a little surprised they didnt shoe horn Gambit in there, he seems to be a hit, though I found him only slightly amusing. 

The more I see Snipes as Blade, the less I think the other guys film is ever going to get made. Just give the teeth back to Wes.. its what we all want.

Two Gun Kid is surely on the way after this Cowboy Deadpool reveal right?

Classic Ghost Rider is a dream come true. I was just looking at the Retro GR the other day and was wondering when we'd get a truly blue jump suit Blaze version. And that bike... so cool. What is the snot covered green head again?

I might grab Grizzly for another super articulated bear and the accessories.  That about sums up this mort.

Kitty and Colossus are nice but out of my limited XMen scope

Secret Wars Falcon, if true,  finally. Another classic Avenger. But also, Magik?!? Cmon Hasbro, we know you will eventually get to Absorbing Man and the Wrecking Crew..  so give us Volcana. This is our last best shot to complete the villains.

While it's a nice detail to have the toe "talons" for Laura. Are they always out? That seems like an odd choice. They probably come out like other claws but then you'll have a hole in the boot. Weird.

By no means am I defending Hasbro, but this might explain it. There is a possibility of production time vs Mold use. To have both figures ready for launch in the same wave they likely could not use the new mold to produce two figures . By using the old mold both figures could be produced simultaneously. This is the only reason I can think of. They went out of their way to produce an extra neck for old part reuse at the user end and a double Ursa Major/Grizzly figure. This is the only conceivable reason I can image they would do this. While a new mold existed, it was limited on its capacity. I feel this mistake would be infinitely more unforgivable if this were made down the line when a better mold did exist. 

 

Now, if we can just a new classic colossus in the Gamer verse line, bigger and more articulation with a mostly new sculpt... Colossus is fine, but just fine no real improvement to articulation than butterfly's. still looks like single jointed elbows, which maybe to to muscle sculpt don't get much from double jointed, still... I want to be able to make a convincing fast ball special. Hell, make a fast ball special two pack and lock Colossus behind another tiger stripe Wolverine.

So we waited half a decade to finally get a new comic book-based Abomination that is, in a nutshell, a new head on the old Gamerverse body? Don’t get me wrong, it was a great figure for a time and still looks great, but if they made us wait 5 years for a reissue with a new head, they could at the very least give the figure pinless legs. Now, if they released this exact figure two years after the BAF, I would have been way more understanding and not even critical.
