The maxium thor looks spectacular, the faces look off I must admit. But the rest of it is what the maxium line should be!!! All new and the best engineering Hasbro can offer. Like seriously if they had given Daredevil toes joints and some more accessories they could have played us and called it maxium🤣. Regardless, those 2 are instant purchases. But everything else...was pretty week. Old bucks, outdated articulation, ab crunch and no butterfly (or butterfly adjacent) in the big 26'? When is hasbro going to streamline the articulation to where other toy companies are at? There yrs behind for majority of the ML line. I guess when mattel comes up with the DC line which I have a feeling their going to incorporate very mordern articulation to compete and possibly dominate the 1:12 market, and then Hasbro can finally feel some pressure and do the same for ML.

Im blown away. Here i was hoping for the mcu 2 pack because the ML team would have done a better job then this terrible body selection. Just so bad. Here I was getting excited hearing about the 2 pack just to be rope a doped by this? Like why? Are we ever going to get muse from born again? This decision makes no sense.

Yeah, the 2-pack was clearly supposed to at least represent the show, but they made the inexplicable decision to make it comic instead. Why? We may never know, but the chances of ever getting the actual MCU versions of these guys just dropped significantly...

When they showed Throg I audibly gasped with joy!!!!!

Very happy with all!

Secret Wars- New bigger builds for DD and Falcon!!!!! Both Must Haves!!!!

Constrictor woulda been nice if the ribs were sculpted, but still really nice!

Magic in her NM look is really cool Def getting.

I actually really like just plain old Absorbing Man. Some power ups woulda been nice, but I'm not complaining he's gonna get ordered too.

Probably pass on that Spidey. He's cool for one pose, but not really needed for me. (I say as I am already thinking about how awesome that pose is)

DD two pack with the previously banned "red paint"!!!! Love this! We need more "red paint" for Legends! Woulda been nice if that Battle Damaged Spidey had picked up painting as well!

When I heard Avengers I got excited, then they busted out the one era I didn't read or really like. Might still get cause I'm a sucker for Quicksilver and Widow. But might pass. Was hoping for Stingray, Dr Druid, Gilgamesh, Sersi in green, Yellowjacket, and so many others, but hey..

Don't need that Onslaught, so cool.

Don't need that Archangel, but I like the update and I LOVE the tuning fork. That gun is nice too. If this weren't gonna be 40-60 bucks I'd get it.

Max Thorrrrr!!!! I woulda preferred the original look since he looked that way the most through the decades, but this look is cool. Throg! Cloth Cape!!!!!!! That permanent thrown hammer attached to the hand is really something that is needed for posing. And I love the handle for his back too! 100 percent on board!!

Magik has a nice head sculpt, but I'm not sure I need a second version of this character since I just bought the reissued one.

I like the head on the Black Widow figure as well, but that costume is kind of unattractive.  I have so many of the Target version that everyone loves that I think I'll pass on another hostage two pack anyway.

You do the lord's work! Dayum! Thanks!

So that was a pretty solid stream imo.

There are definitely a few standouts.

The must haves for me are...

  • Falcon
  • Daredevil
  • Emma (diamond)
  • Onslaught
  • Maximum Thor

Magik I am not sure. This one looks great. But I also kind of like that current outfit. I don't have either at present. So I may go with this one which looks to have a better headsculpt.

That Falcon will pair nicely with Secret Wars Cap. Even with Gamerverse Cap I expect. I don't have a Falcon yet so...no brainer.

Classic Red Daredevil? Hell yes. (Do not have a comic DD either at present).

Quicksilver/Widow. (I do not have a quicksilver. The Family Matters 3 pack is...kind of expensive. So I may go with this...and I just got the 60th Widow lmao. Still this one has a different headsculpt.)

Do not have Onslaught but a Target exclusive? ...damn.

Muse and Bullseye I may wait and see if they get a discount.

Maximum Thor looks fantastic. Bendy Wire/posable cape? Yes please. He has a decent number of appropriate and usable accessories.

The real miss for me is that Venomized Spidey. It's a unique interpretation. But I have comic and black suit spideys (plenty of them already). Like @tarot said, I could see him being great for stop motion. Sculpt and everything look great. Just not sure I need him.

@tarot

So there is supposed to be a Witch and Vision 2pk?
I was debating getting that Void BAF Vision, but maybe I will just wait. (Need a Black Panther and Hawkeye too).

Also see what you mean about the black lines. I am guessing some rubbing alchohol could remove them? Probably just bare red plastic?

Very disapointed from this modern Look of this Maxium Thor ! We Need a classic Thor !
the same as the new Abonimation - the used gameverse Body - doesn‘t work for any Comic accurat Version of this Character ! This Abonimation Never were turned Up Jeans ( with a belt ) only Short Trunks . And that dinosaurs feet Look crap- we Need the Comic two Toes . And he Never were Spikes on the back and the Rest of his Body .
the older two Figures were way better modelt and Comic accurat but only way to small - it worked for rhino and the ulik figure but Not for Emil Blonsky

Daredevil and Throg are my big winners. Everyone mad about never getting a single card release of Daredevil should be glad they held out. Best looking DD to date in my opinion that sensory effect really sets him off. Also jumped out of my seat when they showed Throg I mean it's Throg come the f on!!!

I'll get the Falcon and Magik for sure. I'll debate on the others. As someone that only displays figures and not posing much, I'm not sure I need to buy new versions.

I wish the Maximum Thor was either his classic costume or a different one. Thor has actually had a few different outfits since that one. Regardless, I'll probably pick that one up. Glad Throg is with it.

If I can get Muse/Bullseye on clearance, I'll get it then but not important for me.

I'm not sure how many people have been crying for Avengers Crossing figures. I guess it's an easy repaint to do.

Won't bother with the Archangel or Onslaught, as I have the other releases.

WOW!  That was one hell of a reveal (no duds)!  Too many things to say. Magik in this costume has been a must have for so long, same for Falcon, but that Daredevil!  Absolutely incredible!  And as much as I would have preferred the Maximum Thor be a Classic costume version, they absolutely killed it and this will be an instant purchase! Really nice job, Hasbro!

I will get DD, undecided on anything else. I like them all just not sure if I really need them. Classic Falcon is a most likely.

At last....the Falcon! Looking GREAT....don't think they increased his height, but they have the yellow "beak" on the mask just perfect, even gave him points on his boots instead of just painting them on. Not to mention that bottom cuff "fringe" along with the raised "talons" on the vamp.  Also gave him his original short wings. WILD!!

Classic Falcon - Looks solid but not too interested
Constrictor - Looks really good, probably will get.
Absorbing Man - Would be better than the BAF if he had and power up arms, so pass
Magik - Looks really good, hopefully they will re-release/redo the other girls
Spider-Man. - Get a Spidey based on one scene, easy pass
Daredevil - Looks very good, but I'm happy with my armoured DD, so I'll probably pass

Muse and Bullseye - Not the Muse I would want, so easy pass
Avengers Crossing Quicksilver and Black Widow. - Quicksilver is in my favourite costume for him, not sure about Natasha though. Still might hold off for the rumoured Wanda and Vision 2 Pack
Deluxe Onslaught. - Have the BAF so pass
Deluxe X-Men 97 Archangel -  Happy with my previous version, so pass
Maximum Thor -They couldn't include the Ragnarok Spinning Effect? Not Maximum enough, so pass

Posted

So... put a wired cape on my 2011 Thor, and I'm good. literally the same figure (sure, pinless, 3 faces blah blah blah) How are they going to give us THREE Mjolnir options but NO SPINNING EFFECT???

Another Maximum dud in my opinion.

the rest look good. im not hyped for the secret wars stuff but thats a really great looking DD. i just got a good deal on the last deluxe Archangel so i can skip this one. both 2 packs are not quite definitive versions of the characters (Muse is the exception), but im sure somebody will appreciate those versions.

so really, the only 2 i would buy from this whole stream are DD and maybe Onslaught IF i can find him...

Im glad the Absorbing Man is the "normal" size he was in Secret Wars. One thing they absolutely got wrong with the previous Creel and the Wrecking Crew was their out of scale size. I know artistic interpretation and all, but they were toooo big. Same with their BAF SandMan.

Maximum Thor is very nice. Glad to see he isn't Maximum hands like the previous Max figures. Throg is the highlight for me lol. This makes sense as opposed to Doop on the Deadpool Max figure.  I get it was an homage to the Toybiz version, but in no way did that booger monster make DP and more "Max". Throg is at least... a version of Thor.

Secret Wars DD is absolutely stunning. THIS is an homage done right.  I have every DD figure Hasbro has done so far but Im grabbing this guy too.

The rest of the Secret Wars wave is a mixed bag.

I kinda love that only Absorbing Man and Spidey were in the comic series, with the rest being Mattel figures homage plus ?!Magik?!? BUT Volcana  better get a figure before they call it quits on this line.. there really is no better subline to slip her into.

The Crossing 2 pack (hey, solo series Quicksilver!) is welcome but odd. Wasn't this rumored to be a 4 pack? Regardless,  the suits the Avengers wore for this storyline were some of the worst ever. They feel very "alternate universe" .. and I can't see them doing many of the other suits, right? I guess Wanda's wasn't THAT bad, but unless we end up with that version of Giant-Man,  I dont care to complete the Crossing team.

The cost savings on archangel is so sad. I was really wanting and looking forward to an upgrade. No horsemen of death head update, that was the most gorgeous part of the Marvel select, they claimed the modified wings are to match the show, sure, but it also limits plastic on their part. And most disappointing of all where are those awesome fliechette effects you already have tooled?

I was pleasantly surprised by this stream.  5 must haves for me; Magik, Daredevil, Constrictor, Muse 2 pack and Archangel.  I might get maximum thor, falcon and the avengers 2 pack as well.  We will see.  The only thing I thought I was awful was the Absorbing man.  He needed to be a deluxe with swapple parts.  Huge miss.
