Yeah, the 2-pack was clearly supposed to at least represent the show, but they made the inexplicable decision to make it comic instead. Why? We may never know, but the chances of ever getting the actual MCU versions of these guys just dropped significantly...

And that right there makes me so tight... Ik with the mcu figures, it would have at least guaranteed us all-new sculpts. I'm still flabergasted by their decision-making even 24 hours later.

Honestly hope we get another wave of FF retro figures. Like Mole Man from the old toyline, we don't have Wizard or Attuma.  I would take the FF in their Future Foundation outfits if they need to do them again.

I'm pretty sure I saw DMB leak with the FF in Future Foundation on it. Something along the lines of a three-pack of Thing/IW/Mr. F. So we will see.

I'm getting Thor just for Throg

Well I'm getting him for both!!!

(And that hand with the hammer attached for flight poses!)

Now it's possible to kitbash a pretty impressive, near-perfect Thor using Absorbing Man's arms and cape from Maximum Thor. However, it's only a matter of 1-2 years before we get a Classic pinless Thor with a wired cape. I just hope that along with wired capes, we also get more wired tentacles. Mostly blank reused Constrictor would have been on a whole other level with wired tentacles, and they could even include a non-powered versions, which would boost sales since many collectors would want wired spares for Omega Red.

That is the exact version of Magik I’ve been wanting! Classic New Mutants uniform with armored left arm. The silver is nice and shiny. The addition of an alternate unarmored arm, and a newly sculpted soul-sword, would have made this figure perfect. I hope the rest of the team are coming sooner rather than later.

Archangel is a great update. The face sculpts are fantastic. Love the retracted wing piece. I would have preferred a new unmasked head sculpt instead of the gun.

90s Quicksilver looks really good and the costume design is very toyetic.

When do we get more Generation X team members?

I debated on Magik but ended up preordering her. I like this outfit...

At least it is the one I associate with magik. But this new one has a better head sculpt and will probably look nice next to Kitty and Colossus.

The Maximum Thor looks great. Only thing I would want is a Spinning hammer effect.

I mean, come on. It's right there they could have reused it.

Also if we get a new Mole Man? Hopefully it means a new updated Comic FF is around the corner.

That pic of Falcon with no wings really makes me hope they do a quick easy repaint in the green and brown 1st app look when he didn't even have wings. Maybe a sidekicks of Cap pack with a, much needed, new Bucky, Diamondback, and D Man in his yellow DD/Wolvie costume!

Uffff I didn't like his green and orange outfit, but I have all the comics of him from that era. Still, I'll take that costume over virtually ANY of the other post classic red and white looks. All equally horrible to me. MAYBE the Alex Ross red and black was ok, but it didn't grab me as much. I think the hawk hook he had in his first outfit, and the red and white (until he got his wings) was a good touch, too bad they dropped it.

Looking at Max Thor one more time. There seems to be no boot cut. Like I thought for a second that the top part, where the line meets the top of the boot, possibly had a swivel, but their pictures do not indicate that. So maybe a cut at the ankle? But again, that doesn't seem to be the case. I hope I am wrong.

Just imagine if Quicksilver was on blank Spider-Man 2099 body, how much better he would look and move, especially in running poses, he would also align better with Black Widow articulation scheme wise.

So we will be seeing Smart Hulk and likely the Miles Morales Spider-Man Mask for the two new things we haven't seen before at NYTF this evening starting at 5:30pm.
