Sony has released new details for their upcoming PS5 Spider-Man 2 video game which will see release on Friday, October 20th, 2023. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will unlock the power of the console with better visuals, faster web swinging (and web wings!), 3D Audio, and near-instant character switching. In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, players will get to experience Marvel’s New York as both Peter Parker and Miles Morales which are both featured on the new packaging art you can see below.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will retail for $69.99 / £69.99/ €79.99/ ¥8,980 MSRP. There will be a Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Edition of the game that will cost $229.99 which features a Steelbook case and includes a 19” statue of Spider-Men fighting Venom. This will be available through PS Direct. For those countries that do not have PlayStation Direct, be on the lookout for more information on how you can secure a Collector’s Edition in your region.

The Digital Deluxe edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 ($79.99 / £79.99/ €89.99/ ¥9,980 MSRP) will include the game, all the pre-order incentives, as well as 10 unique suits (5 for Peter, 5 for Miles), additional Photo Mode frames and stickers, and 2 additional skill points.

Worst thing about this is the full year wait! It looks amazing. The gore is so necessary for a Wolvie game, and it is really there. Holy crap I can't wait!!!

Man, Insomniac has come a long way from Ratchet and Clank.

The gameplay in those games was amazing, and the story was too notch.  I'm sure it's a different creative team, but if they're held to the same standards, I can't wait to try this!

I'm not a big pre order guy with games. Just due to tons of delays, early glitches, and relatively fast price drops.  Buuuut, this looks pretty amazing. I've been waiting for this one for a few decades.

That costume is somehow worse than MCU one, they literally put 20 panels into one side of the mask, thankfully we should have all kinds of costumes in the game just like it was in Spidey game, but imo character designs aren’t strong at all, what could be strong is the gameplay mechanic.
