I do hope he's just a regular priced figure though. Nothing says "deluxe" here. I have a bad feeling we will be paying a packaging premium though. Hope I'm wrong.

now that's what I'm talking about, Finally a new Samson, and it's looking gooood, nice buck choice, must have! , one nitpick isn't even an issue, I don't love the smile face, but he comes with a angry one, perfect.

I've always felt Doc Samson is not fully street clothes, but not fully costume.

YES! Now we're talking. And he looks big as he should; THIS is the kind of mold Luke Cage should have been on.  Oh and do I spot the blood stripe going down his legs, as he had in his first appearance? They also did the oversized "stitches" going down the front of his boots. Great to see. Wonder if they have any plans of getting him in his 80s red suit.

Not sure how I feel on this one. I have the first generation Hasbro Doc Sampson and honestly I may just stick with that one. I knew they wouldn't do it, but I really hoped for the John Byrne costume.

He's still an insta-buy, but you're right, he rocked the ponytail a ton of the time.

I get what they were going for, but these heads don’t really look good to me. It’s true that Samson can be goofy but his main head is way too goofy looking. While the serious head is salvageable, it isn’t perfect in my eye either. But that body pretty decent reuse of existing parts.

Speaking of that Luke Cage/Hyperion body mix, I really hope they will turn this combo into a new blank base body of bigger size that has butterflies. And fingers crossed we get decent Cap Britain on that.

I'm a lifelong Incredible Hulk fan..so this Marvel Legends Doc Samson is a DEFINITE day one preorder for me.

Overall, I'd say this is a decent offering from Hasbro. Definitely loving the colors and the feel of this figure, and the entire Hulk line so far.

REALLY hope they add the Harpy. Hey, they gotta re-use those Angel wings SOME day,right?

I prefer the more recent red version, but both would be cool. Still want them to use those wings for two Mimic figures. 60s version and Exiles version!

I was thinking that Doc Sampson looked a bit odd with the wide middle. He looked like he had a bit of a muffin top. But then looking at some of the art that's been posted here? I'm thinking it's not really all that far off.
