Yeah, so the Elektra will now have the ab crunch along with the torso pivot. The arms have double jointed elbows, butterflies, and bicep swivels. We are doubling the articulation in the arms and torso.  The legs also have double jointed knees along with the thigh cut and calf cut. This super poeable body is pretty awesome for Black Widow.  There is no way this isn't an upgrade. The last one is pretty sorry. The arms have just shoulder, single elbow and wrist. I have her fighting Shuma Gorath with the Savage Avengers right now, and she looks pretty stiff.  I Do hope the head is interchangeable, cause the new face isn't perfect. I might like the old face better. I'll agree with the comments that an angry or yelling face is needed for this character. If Elsa were on this body type, I'd be picking her up too.

Oh it is all soo new, I failed to notice this, I won't lie I skimmed the Live stream. Well that's really nice for the people who do want this, and a reason to for sure update, I'm still going to sit this one out.

Is Elektra a new sculpt?

Arms are new for sure, I assumed they were from Elektra as Daredevil figure but it's actually brand new sculpt. I'm not sure about upper torso but it seems to have sculpted lines, so it's also likely new, lower torso definitely new to account for loincloth.

Which is a shame honestly, they did put effort but in the end went with reuse for the legs, and sculpted arm wraps clash with painted on lines on the legs, all they needed to do was new upper legs, they could even sculpt wraps right next to thigh cut and hide it better.

I was even thinking maybe they could have done leg wraps as separate pieces, just like they did for Maria Hill/Shield Agent body, although it would probably look on the thicker side.

I can't put my finger on it, but something just seems a bit off with her.

I agree, for one the face is strange, I can't explain it, but it is, and I just think the buck is too scrawny, it just doesn't look great when you have bare leg ladies with thin legs, it's too glaring, like these ARE Legs, nothing to hide there, I dunno that's just how I feel. I mean like come on Elektra is doing so much jumping and kicking she's gotta have buff thighs, her workouts totally are leg isolating, i just don't believe that me..whom is lazy has bigger thighs then Ninja girl.

That's why I wish gamerverse Psylocke didn't have X shaped wraps on her legs, which would make it more reusable for Elektra, tbh I wouldn't even mind if this Elektra had Psylocke legs as is (there's some example where she had crossed wraps), not ideal but still better and thigh cuts would have been hidden better as well.

Indeed the Gamerverse Psylocke legs would have been better, and ya of course accurate to some material, but ultimately they could have just removed the wraps, if they are going to put the effort in, put all the effort in, the shortchanging is silly, like they went the distance, it just wasn't the right distance. the figure wasn't all new parts, it wasn''t like it ate up much tooling budget, all of the figures except Acroyear are using existing parts, so it's not like all of these are utilising tooling from a scratch, Acroyear case in point appears to be basically all new, and he's mostly nobodys favorite here.

I'm sure that in two or three years we will get Elektra with new legs in some 2 pack with Daredevil. As for now, I will hope that pink Psylocke body will end up on ebay for a relatively cheap price since many collectors will grab her for the tattoo eye heads alone,  and pink is much easier to paint in red than blue, you don't even need to bother painting joints, now the real issue can be the shade of the skin tone, but that can be matched with certain flesh shade washes.

Yeah, the sculpted arm wraps combined with the painted-on leg wraps do look tacky. I'm also a bit surprised they didn't reuse at least one head/hair sculpt from the white outfit, as an alternate. Some opportunities were definitely missed with this Elektra, and sadly, nothing featured makes me feel like I need it overall.

Agreed. I feel like they could have taken the Psylocke buck and easily adapted it for this figure. Truth be told, I'll probably still grab this one because I've been waiting for an update Elektra, but it is a bit of a missed opportunity.

Are Aunt May/MJ, Elsa and Elektra going up tomorrow as well?

No. Just Christmas Spidey. I believe The retro Spidey stuff is next week and the mini comic is the week after.

No Amazon listing for this guy? I really would prefer not having to buy extra things to get free shipping lol

I feel the same way. The free shipping struggle is real!!!

I think of all the holiday themed figures Hasbro has put out, this might be my favorite.  Which is a little silly, since it's probably the one they've put the least design effort into. But it's hard not to dig it!

This is a good example of "sometimes less is more." Just classic Spidey with a Santa hat, coat, and a sack of presents, keeping it simple and charming. I think the simplicity is why it's better than other holiday figures, because it's Spider-Man actually celebrating the holiday rather than just turning his entire costume into a Christmas gimmick.

Also thought it might be worth noting that GameStop has him listed for 29.99, and 28.49 for pro members.

I totally forgot about that Spider-Man wave, I guess I'm still going to get Smythe, but I still kinda hate it, like why why can't we just have gotten a Comic version by now? I don't really want the stupid flat-top variant, like pffff, Whatever. Maybe I'll just hold out and see if he ever goes on sale, I'm just not that thrilled, but it's the only figure of him we've ever gotten.

The ponytail version is also accurate to the original Toybiz figure, so a second head sculpt should have been mandatory. Still, since this is a fully new body mold, I suppose they’ll release a third version as well.

Speaking of additional head sculpts, Aunt May definitely needed her comic accurate grey hairdo. If they had included it, sales likely would have been better and I doubt we’ll see another May in the Legends line for the next decade, that figure is destined for deep clearance sale.

I really don't know why they didn't just include a second comic head with this release of Smythe, I would have actually be content, I mean it's still an animated figure and it's the animated design, it's just it's so close in the body that it can pass, See Aunt May is not doing the passing as comic job for me, hence why I have Zero interest, Here hair wasn't like that (sure maybe once , since she had 80 looks), it's just not the comic, and I can't accept that, same goes with Mary Jane, it's obviously the animated version, but MJ and Aunt May will probably be 10 bucks at some point, maybe if I feel like wasting money I'd buy May then.

Smythe is just so close, he can work, but Still not pleased. , whatever it's a lazy fart in a jar wave of re-dos, I feel sorry for the people who paid the 2 pack prices years ago, and how many times do we need that same Carnage..but not, sorry card is cool but ugh.

That's kind of my frustration with this whole thing. I have nothing against the animated figures, but when some of these characters only get revisited once every few years (if ever), I really wish Hasbro would prioritize filling the obvious holes in the comic collection before giving us second animated versions -- especially names like these that don't seem likely for ML to visit over and over.
