That's kind of my frustration with this whole thing. I have nothing against the animated figures, but when some of these characters only get revisited once every few years (if ever), I really wish Hasbro would prioritize filling the obvious holes in the comic collection before giving us second animated versions -- especially names like these that don't seem likely for ML to visit over and over.

It's frustrating indeed, I mean just for example, we've all been waiting for a civilian Mary Jane update, since the last figure from a 2 pack that was exclusive to stinkin TRU was just a year short of a decade ago. like come on, plus we've never had May, never had Smythe, and we already had them in Animated form, the sad part is those were not even the most desired Animated Spider-Man figures from those VHS packs, people have been vocal about Vulture and Doc Ock, yet we got old lady, date night girl and Dolph Lundsmythe. Plus a another Carnage on the same body, but now with Umasked head with drippy eye make-up, oOoH la La. i think if you were dedicated to the animated spidey figures you likely got all of these, and if you want a Carnage just go buy any of the ones that came out in the last 5 years. We'll likely never get a comic Aunt May, and Smythe is very low at this point, And by god they just won't stop putting MJ in spider costumes.

Damn alot of ppl dissing it for a comic version , when its meant for ppl who grew up on animated series spider-man im rewatching rn, not comic version  , i love smythe could of added a small spidey slayer toy, carnage i think they should have left the spider-man cardback not maximum carnage then how ppl know its the animated version , aunt may i like but rather get vhs i like doc oct, mary jane of course tiger 🐅 😉

I couldn't find Smythe on Amazon Canada, and that just cemented my current feelings.

spacer.pngI really don't want this version, Comic I'm all in, I'm not settling, so maybe if it goes on sale, if not whatever.

hair wasn't like that

I meant hair and face sculpt that is close to this, yeah outfit wouldn't be a match but I doubt many people would go crazy about her outfit not being accurate as long as new head sculpt is good.

Honestly I just want it to be Comic, and Just any Iconic look, the Animated figure just isn't it, so sure whatever outfit, as long as it appeared in a panel, and go wild, as long as she's not wearing a beekeeper suit,  or some dumb stuff.

see something like getting a comic Aunt May, is why I kinda miss those 5-6 packs we used to get once or twice a year that had oddities in them, they stopped doing that recently, and much like our friends the BAF waves (which also have been sorely missing)  it really took away the variety of characters we saw in a year.

Does Elsa get a holster for her gun this time around like she did before? Because that thigh band thing does not look like it holds a weapon.....

It's kinda sad that Zombie Wanda got double joints and Elsa didn't, both being based on MCU Wanda Jacket, I would personally be okay with battle damaged arms of Zombie Wanda, even though one arm had gnarly wound with bone visible and all.

Think it's gonna just be Elektra and Hawkeye for me.

Yeah, I got mine on Amazon to avoid shipping charges since I was only getting the 2.  Just saw on EE they are 30.  I hate that this is happening.  It's gonna put a serious nail in the coffin for me.  It'll just be absolute needs to finish teams or rogues galleries from here on out.  It's for the best we don't get BAFs much anymore, cause I am not buying half @$$ed stuff like BloodStorm for 30 bucks.  If they were 30 everywhere I might have passed on both Elektra and Hawkeye.

Essentially bought the wave, but skipped Acroyear and Spider-Man.  Just don't care about that Spidey, and while I'm glad for the people that are super-jazzed about Acro, I've never read a Micronauts comic in my life, so.  Really, really excited about Earth X Cap (hope they do so much more from that world, Venomized Mayday? Half-torch Sub Mariner?  Daredevil?  So many great designs in that universe) as well as Elsa.  My Nextwave crew has been sorely missing her for some time.

Nope, turns out Elsa DOESN'T have the holster which....I mean, really....10 years later and you "update" by taking away something she actually needs?? I can't even.

On the bright side....the Micronauts' Acroyear!! Oh man how I loved those first Michael Golden comics! No I dont really buy hasbo legends much anymore....but I'm getting that one!
