Spider-Noir, Eyes of Wakanda Pick Up Emmy Wins

[ShawnDK]

Prime Video's Spider-Noir won five awards at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys just days after being canceled by the streamer. The Nicolas Cage-starrer won five awards, including cinematography, sound editing, stunt coordination, title design, and special visual effects in a single episode. It went into the weekend with 11 nominations, the most for any Prime Video series this year.

Marvel Animations's Eyes of Wakanda also picked up an Emmy, part of Disney's huge weekend, earning over ten awards.

The series stood victorious alongside Disney’s The Muppet Show, The Bear, and Star Wars: Visions claiming a juried Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation. Uzoma Dunkwu was recognized for his character design in the episode "Into The Lion's Den."

Unlike regular competitive categories, juried Emmy awards do not have standard nominees. Panels of peer-group professionals evaluate entries and can give zero, one, or multiple awards.

Funny that Spider-Noir won a bunch and yet still got cancelled, I gotta wonder if someone got fired for that and some one was rethinking the decision.

Hey Nic probably hasn't won since Leaving Las Vegas, so yay. Although he didn't actually win himself.

Also Good for Eyes of Wakanda, despite me having forgotten that show existed, and forgetting to even have ever watched it. OOps

Honestly didn't enjoy Eyes of Wakanda at all. Complete throw away and I didn't like the character designs at all.
