  1. I love this Lilandra figure. It's easily my favorite figure from these Wolvie 2-packs and my second favorite figure of the year so far to X-Men '97 Maddy. Legender, I'm pretty certain this won't be the last Brood from Hasbro that you'll see. I personally don't like it enough to put it in my display with my Brood Queen BAF and Marvel Select Brood soldiers but I don't hate it either. I know there are likely a lot of people looking forward to the inevitable Brown suit Wolverine from this figure.
  2. I love this this figure but I'm just now sure why they didn't make him a little taller. It's an easy fix, though.
  3. My favorite figure of the year so far, and I won't be surprised if she holds that spot all year. Will buy dupes if she hits 50% off or more on clearance. Magneto is the only figure from this wave I've passed on so far but was very tempted when I saw him in person at Walmart. He too would be a buy if I ever find him for 50% off or more, otherwise I'll continue to pass.
  4. I'm really liking that Daredevil less and less each time I see it. I still really want the Hydro-Man, though. It might be time for Hasbro just to throw on the towel on any type of cel-shading. Decided to pass on Morbius/Strange altogether. That's the first of these animated Spidey sets I've passed on since Spidey/Carnage.
  5. Thank you JayC and BBTS! Good luck everyone! Lots of good stuff coming out! Congrats to TheArrow!
  6. The box says it's "Zola", but I don't know if I personally would have determined that otherwise based upon that look.
  7. I don't have this in hand yet, but it won't surprise me if it ends up being my favorite figure of the year.
  8. I'll likely pick up Prowler on the retro card but skip Secret Empire Cap (although I'll likely buy a green repaint if they do it). I'll be skipping the Target FalconCap as well.
  9. I 100% agree with what Jay said about these figures being carried less and less at brick and mortar retail - I think that's a foregone conclusion. However I also don't believe that a line that is making nearly 200 figures per year is close to dying... yet. Now if they were to suddenly drop off to 40-60 figures per year, then yes - it's probably getting closer to the end... but there was also a time when that many figures a year was a lot!!
  10. I plan to pre-order the whole wave as soon as it goes up. Red Widow is the star for me. I also like the Black Winter, Ikaris and Superior Iron Man figures. I'll never be "happy" about buying a figure of a character more than once but the Cable, Wolfsbane, Ka-Zar and Zabu figures will all be replacing prior versions in my collection. Buying an "update" of a previously made character always makes me feel like I'm getting swindled as a consumer, but for some reason I choose to keep doing it anyway. That's completely on me. Like others I'm not at all surprised to see that this wave is fan channel only. I honestly expect this to become more and more the norm going forward as it's evident to me that the big box retail stores like Target and Walmart are souring on carrying figures in general. I think that they've just been burned too much. I'm sure that they'll continue to carry the sure fire sellers like Spidey, but that might be it in the future. My local SuperWalmart basically quit already after the Black Panther Legacy wave and DC Multiverse Batman Future State figures. My local SuperTarget has been better than that - but are still clearly being far more selective and have skipped several entire waves that weren't fan channel only.
  11. I still haven't opened this from buying it from the first time around. I don't remember what I paid for it when I bought it the first time, but I certainly hope that it wasn't $75 back then. This is truly a re-issue with no updates?
  12. Honestly, I'm relatively disappointed with these reveals. Lots of remakes of characters I already have in my collection and not much new. Red Widow is the figure from all of these that I'm most excited about and we already knew about her. Comic Ikaris, Superior Iron Man and Black Winter are probably my favorites of the rest. Morbius/Strange is a skip for me although I might have considered Morbius on his own. Prowler and Carnage on the retro card are nice but I'll have to examine if they're really enough better than prior versions to bother with. F4 Wolvie/Spidey is a skip for me, no interest. I want that new Heinrich Zemo to replace my Toy Biz one but really don't need a THIRD Zola. The SHIELD 3-pack is nice but again already have versions of all of these characters - will still buy, but also want to see the classic Nick Fury head that was rumored to come with this. Wolfsbane, Cable, Ka-Zar and Zabu will likely all replace my existing versions, but I never ever get excited about buying a figure of a character that I already have a version of in my collection, regardless of how much an improvement/upgrade it is. To me, it just means that I spent multiple costs of a figure to have one character. It's not my fault that Hasbro can't do their best version the first time around.
  13. The more that I think about this the more that I'm expecting the remaining Wolverine anniversary 2-pack with he and Spidey in the Fantastic 4 costumes. I still think the timing is no coincidence in coming right after the Deadpool/Wolverine Super Bowl trailer. It still feels like we'll see some Deadpool stuff here. Showing Deadpool, Wolverine and Colossus from the movie wouldn't exactly be anything spoilerish and if they follow recent patterns there will be comic figures in the wave as well. They showed that flame base/accessory last time, maybe they'll pay that off with that reveal next week. They probably also have to reveal Ka-Zar this time after doing the Red Widow and Lilandra reveals from those previous hints, right? Could Ka-Zar and maybe Rachel Phoenix (I'm just guessing wildly based upon the flame base) end up being comic based figures in a Deadpool movie wave where it's 50/50 movie/comic?
  14. I'm just thankful that Thunderbolts seems to still be happening. Recent quotes that I read by Florence Pugh made it sound like it was very much in doubt as to whether the project was still moving forward.
  15. If they go that route then I'd want the rainbow Deadpools like they released in the Marvel Universe wave: Solo (green), Slapstick (yellow) and Foolkiller (blue). They already did the purple Terror figure years ago for the Marvel Unlimited exclusive.
