  1. Not bad. I've always wanted two 2-packs of the Jim Lee X-men basketball game...Pack 1 Gambit & Jubilee (includes a charged basketball) and Pack 2 Rogue & Wolverine (includes a regular basketball). A different/casual look on some favorite characters.
  2. This is just non-stop nonsense. Like all the other "major" events, this is another hard pass. My days with Marvel are slowly coming to an end (my days with DC ended years ago). Marvel has butchered my favorite character (Gambit), as they have many of yours (Beast). Midtown Comics in NYC will be seeing less and less of me.
  3. Give me Uncanny X-Men #266...first appearance of Gambit (and with lil' Ro).
  4. Couple of Gambit figures so I'm happy, but I really want an AoA Gambit, or, more specifically, a Wave 3.
  5. I would love to see an Age of Apocalypse series. Cyclops and Wolverine are obvious choices, but some other characters had really cool designs, including Iceman, Gambit and Beast. Even Nightcrawler & Colossus had minor tweaks, but they too looked great. I love AoA, and hope Hasbro adds a third wave for the Marvel Legends. If Funko did AoA, I be in as well.
  6. I will admit the Disney+ show is making me a fan of the character. I see myself going to Box Lunch for that GITD Khonshu POP.
  7. I like the concept, especially the idea of releasing these as actual postcards. Would love to see Gambit in New Orleans and Spider-man in NYC as well. Probably a lot more places they could do, fictional and real.
  8. Hard pass just out of frustration with Marvel. Eternals - Never a fan, but the movie was okay. Still, not interested in learning more about them, so characters I am clueless on just don't appeal to me. And speaking of which... X-Men - Not crazy about the whole Krakoa storyline. Too many characters over too many books. And why the heck are Rogue & Gambit NOT on the same team? Jean & Scott are. Reed & Sue too. Rogue's on the cool team and Gambit's playing Dungeon & Dragons in the Land of Oz. There was a reason the X-Men were great in the 90's. Avengers - Anyone remember when the Avengers were a cool book that just kept chugging along, to something like 400 issues? Now it's every two years a new team, new start, new everything. And boy have they beaten the Ghost Rider to death. Johnny Blaze was great and Marvel got lucky when they upgraded GR to Danny Ketch...usually changes like that tend to annoy fans, but that one worked out pretty well. What are we up, GR #9 in a car, what's next GR #10 on a scooter? They destroyed a once great character. IMO, DC hit rock-bottom. Not reading anything over there any more. I've clung to a couple Marvel books, but at this rate, I'm being all but shoved out of the comic-loving club. Bummer.
  9. I will admit I love the packaging. I'm a huge fan of Gambit, so if/when they produce his figure, I'm down for (at least) two...one in-package on the shelf and one out of package in front of the mint one, just like every other Gambit figure I have. It's the (hopefully) third wave of Age of Apocalypse I really want to see...Cajun included!
  10. And despite Marvel's best efforts, Gambit still remains popular. He needs a different book. This is painful.
  11. Sweet! I am so in. Can't stand this Krakoa nonsense or Gambit on Excalibur. Can't wait!
  12. I can't wait! Chris Potter back as Gambit (I hope at least...guess he could be another voice, like Cyclops). Just happy to see him in something outside of Excalibur (which, for Gambit fans, is truly painful).
