  1. When is HASBRO going to learn how to pack a full case?! Put the Army builders as the double pack and they would most likely sell more full cases! Why would anyone want to shell out more money for a figure that doesn't have a BAF part and you don't need two of them? I used to buy full cases when the figures were $20-22 a piece, I've passed on every case since the price hike. I don't need to spend the extra money for figures I don't want/need. It's like they are still actively trying to get more collectors to drop off. I like this wave, but without seeing the Hydra Stomper in action, I'll stay with the version I got a year ago, and pick and choose the figures I want. No full wave for me here.
  2. I travel for work and have a regular rotation of EIGHT Walgreens I hunt for figures. In the past year, I have only recently found ONE Binary figure. Not another exclusive…EVER. Thats EIGHT stores, across two states weekly and nothing. With the price hikes and the lack of availability of the figures I would actually pay the high price for, HASBRO is making it too easy to quit the hobby. BTW, I had already paid $30 for Binary by randomly finding it on Walgreens.com a couple months ago.
  3. Price 1 Khetanna 499.99 2 Unicron 574.99 3 Cookie Monster 299.99 4 Sentinel 349.99 HeroQuest Game $99/$149 5 Razor Crest 349.99 6 Galactus 399.99 7 Victory Saber 179.99 8 Rancor 349.99 9 Skystriker 229.99 10 Ghostbuster 399.99 11 Reva's Saber 499.99 12 Cobra H.I.S.S. 299.99 13 69 Hellcharger Every HASLAB to date, with their original listing prices. Hoping for Victory Saber or Skystriker pricing if I'm buying into it. I think the only way a Mephisto is going to make it onto a figure now will have to be through HASLAB. The subject matter is too risque for Disney to allow for mainstream. This is the only option HASBRO has to allow for these characters to happen.
  4. I’m in the same place as Reno, I’ve got 20 years of figures, two Sentinels and two Galacti. What else can they pull out of the bag that’s going to make me want to shell out the cash again? I already have all of the Legends BAFs, my FFF is good enough. Blackbird would be cool, but man, the SPACE would be ridiculous! Id buy a real scale Lockjaw with some of the missing Royal Family: Crystal, Karnak, Gorgon, Triton & Maximus. I think if they price it right and they put the effort of back lights and different backdrop options, a sealed figure display would make me buy in… possibly a couple or few of them. Figure box sets aren’t the Haslab focus, those are targeted as exclusives, so that’s unrealistic to hope for. With the price hikes, I’m skeptical there’s something coming that will fund at all.
  5. Feeling like regardless of the offering, it's going to be priced out like all the rest. $349.99 for a Sentinel? Yep, perfectly priced, bought two. $399.99 for Galactus? Hmmmm. World Eater, never gonna see this again, yep, bought two. With the price hikes on basic figures and complete lack of consistency in the pricing for singles and two packs (24.99 - 77.99?!), a new Marvel HASLAB will most likely be priced at $549.99. I can't think of any product offered that would have me shell out that much. I'm on board with McHogan, "I’m finding more and more I’m enjoying this hobby less so I don’t think I’ll be supporting them like I did when this was an affordable hobby," So, what do I do with 700+ figures if I'm losing the drive to keep the collection going? The positive is that I've save a bunch of money this year due to the price hikes and not being part of it.
  6. Also a recovering completionist, I've got over 600 Legends figures. This year has changed my game, I still see the figures I want and still get the tug of needing them for the collection, then the white hot anger of the price increases puts my cash and credit card back in my pocket. Almost $80 for TWO figures?! Hard Pass ($50 yes). I did pick up Defender Strange on clearance at Target for $15 (LOL). I'll pick and choose, find bargains on clearance and hope for the best. By my calcs, I've already saved almost a grand since last year at this time... or is it that Hasbro has lost a grand of my money?
  7. I’d back the Asguardian set with the Warriors Three, but … a Quinjet Tier one: Hunting jacket Wonder Man Tier two: Count Nefaria Tier three: a legit High Evolutionary or a Bova Tier four: Dark blue Beast with a Byrne-esk head sculpt or… an actual Hall of Armor. 5 levels of lighted armor slots, industrial looking, hinge it so it can close or hang on a wall. Works as a play set also or display other non Marvel figures. tiers could be the Igor, Heartbreaker and Godkiller armors.. maybe a new Mandarin..?
  8. I've been waiting six years for a Count Nefaria figure. Just saw a custom on ebay sell for $168!! BOTBG would be a perfect wave for him or Molecule man. Let's finish some sets ... Hellfire Club, Inhumans, Brotherhood (where is AVALANCHE?), Moloids for army builders, AOA Cyclops, Sinister, Havok, etc., re-release Blastaar or X-Force Archangel, Wonderman with the red hunter jacket or Blue Marvel ... so many choices, why do we keep getting repeats? And where is the Celestial BAF?! I have every BAF from ToyBiz and Hasbro and well over 300 figures, I'm looking for a little spice at this point, c'mon Hasbro, you can do this!
