  2. Only seen in Canada so far. I’m in the same boat as you 11/12. Number 1in the series and it’s the last to be released, Amazon 3 pack is due out next month https://www.walmart.com/ip/Marvel-Studios-The-First-Ten-Years-Iron-Man-Tony-Stark-and-Mark-I/668817038
  3. shrug. mine is perfect. i rushed to get him ordered cause i knew he would sell out quick like they always do. you snooze you lose. have fun paying the ebay prices though.
  4. I've been hearing about a lot of QC issues with the SS figures (bad paint apps, figures without boards, bad joints, etc.). Combine that with all the cancelled orders, and it sounds like Walgreens pushed through a rush order on a load of figures and has just burned through their stock. I'm assuming we'll see a wider (and better executed) release within a few weeks.
  5. Today
  6. The review is very nice and I agree with everything he said. About the ranking of the figures from the wave I would only change Kane and Daredevil positions because this Daredevil is cool and all, but has a lot of flaws and the Kane figure is much cooler.
  7. I ordered Surfer on the 10th, saw nothing until the 17th when I received an email stating my order was cancelled.
  8. For those of you who had their Silver Surfers canceled, how did you find out? I haven't received an email or a phone call, my other items shipped, and I still see "Ordered: 1 | Shipped: 0 pk" for SS, but nothing that would indicated the item was canceled. In other news, I've been seeing more and more of the Venom wave at most of my local my Duane Reades / Walgreens. Also saw all of the SP//DR wave and Warlock(!) wave at a local Target this weekend, inclusive of Cyclops.
  9. Has anyone found the Walmart Exclusive MCU 10th Stark & MK1 set? (#1) Does anyone know the SKU/UPC for it? I am 11/12 on the MCU 10th sets so I’m eager to close out the line...until more sets come out next year anyways lol. Any info on the Walmart UPC/SKU would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  10. Quite easily actually, it’s just an inventory discrepancy issue. It could be one of several things; damaged stock (they will salvage/RGD back vs selling online), not properly accepting/invoicing all of their manifests for their deliveries, etc etc. Same thing is happening (on a much wider scale) with the recently released Target exclusive Black Series Gamorrean Guard. Target wayyyyy underordered from Hasbro to meet demand as well as must have had inventory discrepancies on top of that (my guess) as they had to cancel countless orders of the guard. It’s a total mess. i wouldn’t fret though as it would be a precendent for Walgreens to not carry their exclusive figures in-stores, at least as far as Legends & Black Series go anyway (they’ve released certain Pop! Exclusives only through their site). While my Surfer order didn’t get canceled, I can definitely empathize with your frustration, but I am sure Surfers will make their way to mass release at store level. Wish you the best sir!
  11. I had my Surfer order canceled too. I was so mad. The customer service person gave me the runaround on why. Apparently they took more orders than what they had in stock. We have computers now. How the f@#$ does that happen?
  12. Yesterday
  13. ShartimusPrime takes a look at the new Marvel Legends Sp//dr Build-A-Figure which is part of the newest Spider-Man themed wave from Hasbro. The figures in this wave include Doc Ock, Cloak, Dagger, All-New All-Different Daredevil, Elektra, House Of M Spider-Man and Scarlet Spider. You can purchase these figures now at Megalopolis.Toys. Check out hi-res images for this figure below in our GALLERY!
  14. Gunn said something stupid and for once in the history of forever a d**k got what he had coming. End of story. Personal responsibility. Pass it on.
  15. Since he was so sorry and apologetic about his tweets, why not delete them? And this whole "I was being a provocateur" excuse is laughable. The reality is that the things he said we're so reprehensible and perverse there was no believable explanation he could offer, so he just said he was joking... Yes, joking about serious issues does not immediately mean that the person is involved in them. I'll give you that, but this wasn't just one tweet, this was a whole series of horrible tweets, not one of which was funny in any way, all revolving around the same subject, pedophilia. Which should raise a Red flag in most people's eyes. Often where there is smoke, there is fire. Especially in Hollywood. Have you ever heard of anyone by the name Weinstein, Spacey, or Singer? I agree that people can certainly change, but why not go back and delete those tweets? The mere fact that Gunn left these up on twitter, suggests to me that he was never all that concerned or apologetic about their content. If I was to tweet something awful, get called out on it, and was truly apologetic, I would go out of my way to remove the offensive tweets. And while I know the GOTG cast has said he isn't the same person he was back then, let's not pretend that any of the cast actually know what Gunn does in his private life. My opinion on Dave Bautista is just that, an opinion and I stand by it. Gunn is the one who really mishandled this situation. A public figure like Gunn should know his tweets will be held to a higher standard & yes these vile tweets will probably define him for some time, quite fairly in my opinion. However, I don't think this sends a message to your average person, that no matter how much they've changed as a person they'll always be defined by their lowest point, as they are simply regular people & not public figures like Gunn, the millionaire Hollywood director. The sheer volume & subject matter of Gunn's tweets were beyond awful & extremely disturbing. A public figure like Gunn should know better than to post these sort of things that would come come back to haunt him, & had he been sorry enough for tweeting about how much he enjoy's little boys touching his "naughty place", he would have deleted them, however here we are today & it feels like more than anything else, he's sorry he got caught.
  16. Gunn did explain the purpose behind those tweets, expressing that his intention those years ago was to act as a provocateur. He additionally had already apologized for his raunchy attempts at humor. I don't think that joking about serious issues in such a way necessarily means that a person has a thing for them, especially if the purpose of those "jokes" is to cause a reaction. It's making a joke which is offensive for the sake of it being offensive, and not necessarily to insinuate some kind of depraved fetish. There have been many news of idiot tourists making the Nazi salute in Germany, which doesn't automatically entail they're Nazis. They're just idiots (at the very least, hopefully). I believe this is a similar case with James Gunn. His tweets are disgusting, and don't say anything nice about the person he was in 2010. However, Gunn himself and the people he has closely worked with for over five years expressed that he has changed and that he's no longer the kind of person those tweets reflect. I don't think any kind of conclusion from this incident should be made without taking those people into account. And I don't think it's appropriate to assume Dave Bautista is depraved solely based on his stance from this situation. He knows much more about James Gunn than the slim portion most people get to see. Gunn's situation has been mishandled for the most part by people online, and shows a toxic mentality. It tells people that it doesn't matter how much they have changed as a person, their lowest point will always define them. And just in case there's any doubt, I don't mean to defend James Gunn's tweets, or the type of "humor" we waved like a flag back then. I don't even want to pretend to know what course of action Disney should've taken. It's a slippery slope, but there should be some balance between painting him as a misunderstood saint and a depraved would-be child-molester.

  18. Pedophilia is not something that should EVER be joked about. It is a real problem worldwide and it is horrible. The tweets made by James Gunn were extremely insensitive and vile, especially to victims and their families. Not one of these so called jokes were funny and they suggest that Mr. Gunn at the very least is a sick individual who could very well be involved in pedophilia in some form. He is simply not fit to direct anything until all of these "jokes" are adequately explained. I find it very sad & pathetic that so many people have defended Gunn and his disgusting tweets. It speaks volumes when thousands jump to the defense of a man who has endorsed pedophilia & may himself be a pedophile, simply because he directed a couple of entertaining movies. Here's to hoping that Disney will fire Dave Bautista too. He has been the most vocal of Gunn's supporters and I suspect has some disturbing skeletons in his closet as well.
  19. I'll give you this, the figure is a perfect match for this wave. There are one or two winners, a killer BAF, and the rest are just... why?
  20. Totally agree with FASVB and the reviewer that this outfit is totally worth the purchase, but that a huge specific plus is the Laura unmasked head included, which like everyone else apparently, I intend to place onto my X-23 figure from the previous DP wave. Also, on a related note to the review: Hasbro's QC in these post Infinity War waves seems to have fallen off dramatically...I got a Magneto w/ no unmasked head packed in from HTS. That and paint apps being so poorly applied are going to have some impact on the line if not unchecked going into 2019 and the expected price increases.
  21. Yup. So was mine. Then I believe they got them back in.
  22. Aaaaand my Silver Surfer order was cancelled. But I’m still getting my toothpaste and mouth wash that I only bought to get free shipping. WTF

    SDCC 2018 3.75" Speculation thread

My Aphra showed up today, undamaged. I saw some horror stories on SW collector sites, specifically with the Kylo/Rey set. I almost don't want to open this because the foil make the set look really nice.
  24. Just FYI, TRU Canada has Marvel Legends sale right now. They also just got in the Ross/Killmonger Target exclusive. Just picked it up for $47.97 CDN. Now I wonder if Bucky/Falcon set will show up at TRU too.
  25. I don't know what Walgreens.com you went to, but on mine it's still listed as "Out of Stock." Fortunately, Hasbro Toy Shop is a little more reliable. Just pulled the trigger on Spider-Ham and Typhoid Mary. Figure I'll order Poison and Scream later, then head to Dorkside some time and just order the whole Deadpool wave at once for expedience sake.
  26. The beloved Toys“R”Us mascot, Geoffrey the Giraffe is taking a break from the toy industry to give the Super Hero business a shot. The Geoffrey as Iron Man Pop! is a FanExpo Canada exclusive, which will be shared with Funko Shop and Toys”R”Us Canada! There’s no word yet on whether Geoffrey will officially be offered a place with the Avengers.
  27. Marvel’s runaway teenage Super Heroes are getting the Pop! Vinyl treatment, which might not erase the sting of discovering that their parents are Super Villains, but it’s pretty cool nonetheless. Nico, Alex, Karolina, Gert, Molly and Chase will bring style, sass and a smorgasbord of Super Hero abilities to your collection. Nico comes with the Staff of One, Gert is armed with her signature riot grrrl style and Chase is armed with his Fistigons and ready to fight.
  28. Actor Tom Holland who plays Spider-Man/Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe posted this video on his personal Instagram account this week which may provide a clue for which villain might appear in the next Spider-Man film called Far From Home. The video shows him on the set for the new movie where he talks about how he does all his own stunts. Behind him you can see someone standing there through most the video until he gets washed away by a big wave of water. This has led many to believe that Holland is teasing the Marvel Spider-Man villain known as Hydro Man for Far From home. What do you think, will Hydro Man be in the next film and if so would you be happy with that choice?
  29. I ordered one this morning, it only allows you to buy one apparently.
