  1. I've been thinking about the Stiltman wave ever since last weekend and the creative method Hasbro employed to include non-essential-but-enjoyable extensions on an army builder character, the Hand ninja. This got me thinking about other creative alternatives Hasbro could employ with waves besides the standard build-a-figure piece to make larger than standard characters. Here are a couple of ideas I came up with X-Babies wave For an X-Men wave, instead of each figure coming with a BAF piece, he/she comes with 2.5 to 3 inch X-Baby character in the Arthur Adams style. This idea was partially inspired by the Stiltman wave's Spider-Gwen figure coming with Spider-Ham (instead of a BAF piece, I assume). Moloids For a Fantastic Four wave, instead of each figure coming with a BAF piece, he/she comes with a 3 inch Moloid character. This works especially if the line comes with Mole Man. Also, since the Moloids would fall into the army builder category, it makes sense for there to be an army builder in the wave so you can have potentially countless Moloids. Thus, I think the wave should also include either a Doombot or a Skrull warrior. Thoughts? Any other ideas for variations on the BAF theme that don't have to be half-sized figures?

  3. ... and I think the X-babies would be a great idea. It might mean getting an X-baby different from the main figure. Not sure if that’s a problem.

  4. Not really interested in the x baby idea but the moloids is great. We need an updated version of Moleman and his little friends. Great idea.

  5. Oh, man. At first I was like "Tigra? Feral? Either way, people are gonna be stoked", but then I remembered retro-carded Black Cat had been rumoured, which makes much more sense. People will be stoked about that too, I think. Obviously, I would've been happier with Feral.

  6. A number of local Targets started showing Storm/Thunderbird stock today. It took a number of calls where the staff denied they were in stock, and one "sorry, streetdated" rejection trip, but I eventually found the right staffperson and managed to get my set.

  7. They need to retire the body used for the recent Black Tom figure, The arms stick out so much! Also the trench coat needs to go. Finally, every female figure doesn't need to have the 'scarlet witch' / 'using power' hands. They need a better neutral option.

  8. Did you have someone in mind? From just the headshot I don't see anything wrong with her being cast :S

  9. Only " heavy hitters" I want done are classic versions of Angel, Banshee & Havok. All my other X-men wants have been filled. Just need those 3 & I'm good to go. X villians is a different story as we need a few such as classic versions of Avalanche, Blob, Destiny & 1st app Sabretooth.

  10. This isn't on Shartimus' youtube page anymore. I think he got it WAY earlier than he was supposed to because this site and that video (when it was still up) are the only 2 places I can find on the web that talk about this figure. I've been refreshing the Disney Store webpage searching for 'carnage' and nothing pops up. It's kind of driving me nuts! When is this supposed to go up for sale? I want to make sure I'm on top of this to not lose out to scalpers.

  11. I was thinking about how cool it would be to see a Dungeon and Dragons series , it could have a real mythic legions vibe to it. Another cool one would be some 6'' more realistic Battle Beasts.
