  1. The Legends line has been going for 2 full decades now. If it took 20 years to get our first version of a character, I wouldn't likely hold out a lot of hope for a second in the near future unless it's a simple repaint. I for one am perfectly happy with the version of Hyde they chose - even if it may not have been the one I personally would have chosen.

  2. I know I bought three and I dont even like the X-Men. I'd love Galactus but I can't see anything outselling the Sentinel thanks to that army building potential

  3. I know she is a recent character and not "vintage", but who would want one of the FF figures to be Sky? Also, if they re-release The Thing. They had better include extra hands from the Walgreens exclusive.

  4. I don't know why people think Hox is an alternate universe. Yes they have alternate universe in the storyline but with the exception of Omega, It's the Prime universe.

  5. Clearly, "Pxxxxxxxxxxxx" is Paste Pot Pete I hope they make up for all of these alternate universe X-Men waves with a whole bunch of main-universe X-Men figures soon. It boggles my mind that they thought 3 full waves in a row of alternate universe figures was a good idea.

  7. Dude. I HEAR YOU. Thing about the Avengers is they were the "legends", the "big time" group. But throughout their history they've had some baffling choices added to the roster (Swordsman, Two-Gun Kid, Dr. Druid, Silverclaw....gimme a break!) And no, I dont wanna sound snobbish, but I agree with your list of heroes that shouldn't be in the group. Not that they necessarily dilute the "big time" status (putting Rage and the like in was idiotic), but doing so didn't help the Avengers and also did a disservice to the heroes themselves. Shang-Chi is just a much more "grounded" hero and he's like a fish out of water with the Avengers. And that Hyde BAF is awful. Give us the classic villain!

  8. Only 2 episodes left- there's been so much so far, I don't see how they're gonna wrap it up (satisfactorily) in the time left. If nothing else, it would be great to get another season, maybe with the Falcon and Winter Soldier taking down A.I.M....facing off (no pun intended) against MODOK. Its been a good wild ride so far though!!

  9. Trying to find ways to save collectors a few bucks is REALLY not what HasLab is about....

  10. I’m hoping that the WWII Iron Man is the BAF and the Watcher is the deluxe. I want the Watcher, but I’m not interested in the rest of the line.

  11. You couldn't have said it any better! No BS politics or SJW agenda thrown in our face , just a straight up ol school beatdown of the Avengers by the more powerful Zemo team until Thor & She Hulk showed up to even the odds. Though I cannot stand the character of Dr Druid, a poor man's Dr Strange. Hasbro really needs to dedicate 2-3 waves to this classic saga. Jim Shooter must be convulsing at what today's Marvel comics have become.

  12. Amen brother. No other Avengers story from my youth has been as fondly remembered or has any story since risen to the heights that Under Siege did. From a drama stand point I was in awe. The story began as a day in the life of Earths Mightiest Heroes, with the Avengers having no idea that beat down they were about to endure. From the scene when we are shown the ARMY Zemo has assembled and his plans laid out I was hooked! Crazy that a decades old story is so etched into my memory but I couldn’t tell you anything about any story in the past few years that has made any mark...

  13. Meteor Man is a fun, family-friendly superhero movie- it's not amazing, but it's fun, and has a great cast (James Earl Jones, a platinum-haired Don Cheadle, Luther Vandross as a hitman... seriously...)- the downside is, Bill Cosby is in it, so I don't know if I'll ever actually watch it again. Oh, yeah, I would gladly buy a couple more waves JUST of figures from that film- I'm just assuming most or all of these movie figures will be from the next live action movie. Noir would seem the most likely if they're going to put a Spiderverse figure in there. Noir, main suit Miles, Halloween costume Miles, Peni, Olivia Octavious, Tombstone, Peter Parker Spidey with unmasked head (RIP), Scorpion, Kingpin, Sp/Dr...

  14. Ah, so The Looter changed his name to The Meteor Man? Seems an odd choice, especially with the 1990s film... I would love some of the more obscure characters- The Enforcers would be amazing. I wonder if Hasbro could do some "Made to order" figures of some of the more obscure characters that probably wouldn't sell as well at retail. I would buy pretty much any Spidey-related character. All of the rumored retro figures sound like great ideas. I'd like to see some figures of characters on those cards in the actual outfits they wore in the 1990s cartoon, too. I'd also love to see a purple-suited Silver Age Doc Ock. For the next wave, I'd love some mroe "In To The Spiderverse" figures, but I'm guessing most of the movie figures will be from "No Way Home." Still, an "ITTS" Spidey Noir, with removable hat and fist hands, seems like a natural choice, and is needed. I'm guessing the video game figure is from the Miles Morales game...?

  15. I don't think that in most cases it's a fear of the tiers not getting unlocked. I think some folks just don't want to see the heralds be exclusive to a very expensive Galactus release. Maybe they already have a Galactus in their collection that they see as serviceble and just really want a Firelord or Air-Walker or whomever to go with him. Not every collector can swing a HasLab investment. I certainly get that.

  17. When the Transformers presentation cut to Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes with an Optimus Prime toy, I thought, Oh cool, it transforms into a bong! The Transformers product looks good, but nothing that I'm going to buy. Just waiting for Marvel Legends, and curious about what Star Wars product is revealed.

  19. Not quite a haul but I received my Deluxe Thanos today from bigbadtoystore. I was one of many voices concerned about the articulation but honestly in hand it works fine. Not great but fine. Especially when you consider he's usually just throwing blasts or heavy things and looking intimidating. I feel like I have to rate him pretty high overall though. The sculpt work is beautiful and looks like Perez/Lim art come alive and the paint is pretty good with some light highlights.. QC on mine was perfect as well. Seeing how great the sculpt and paint on him are, I feel like MODOK is going to be insanely good...I hope. Nice work Hasbro.
