  2. Really hope we get a great flame on version. Not translucent, head and body the same color red, orange shading, and the classic black lines/dashes. This is the perfect time for it!

  3. Im just the opposite...I love the Inhumans and want to see more of them...Crystal Gorgon Triton and Karnak from the Royal family as well as Maximus. For more FF villans I'd love to see Attuma included!

  4. What they need to do is give us a flamed on Torch in that body mold. The Walgreens release was just way too big. I'd use that one for my Original Human Torch, blur out the face. We also need to get a translucent/clear Invisible Woman. How on earth has this taken so long?? I'd say, again, that Hasbro has just been sleeping on the wealth of figures the Fantastic Four 'verse could bring to the Legends team. To your point on villains, Yes! Mole Man & his Moloids (troop builders, and lets not forget Skrull troop builders), Impossible Man, Molecule Man, Dragon Man, Annihilus, Blastarr, the Frightful Four, Karisma, Psycho Man, Air-Walker, Terrax, Puppet Master, Diablo, Salem's Seven...while technically not a "villain", throw in Thundra on that new She-Hulk mold, and right there you have over 20 figures that either need updates or have never been done. Finally, they need to remove the FF from whatever Walgreens "exclusive" deal they had. No point in making figures we can't get because they don't carry them anymore.

  5. This will be a nice figure but we do need the definitive "Flame On" torch!!

  6. Just sort of gauging interest/ranting about BAFs as a whole. Personally, I feel that with the rise of scalpers and a lot of stores (especially in certain areas) that the BAF format has struggled of late. It also seems that unless you complete a BAF quickly, you likely never will, most BAFs before 2018 are pretty impossible to buy online without donating an organ. I've completed 4 in my time (Warlock, Man-Thing, Sasquatch, and Wendigo) but I've just decided to completely give up on Sandman, Rhino, Allfather, and Absorbing Man. I like the gimmick, no argument here, but too often is an awesome BAF stuck in a mediocre wave or vice versa. On top of that, sometimes the individual parts skyrocket for no real reason (Allfather legs, everything but Rhino's torso, or the 2015 Abomination head). I also like the deluxe format, it allows Hasbro to release more figures and those figures would have generally been highly sought after. Seriously, imagine if MODOK or Maestro were BAFs. What do you think, do you still get the thrill out of Build-A-Figures? Or should Hasbro attempt to move away from the format (maybe to give more accessories)?

  7. Once again, foolishness from the Hasbro team. Leaving money on the table!! Do an Inhumans wave including Maximus (and Lockjaw as the BAF), or box set of the Royal Family + Lockjaw and put that jank on Hasbro Pulse (but in enough quantities that it doesnt sell out in 2 minutes please and thank you). I was content with not doing Black Bolt and Medusa because they've already been done, but both could do with an update. And none of this "updated" armor/hoodie/tattoo/90s streetwear nonsense. Get off my lawn. So very odd that they did Bolt, Medusa, Triton AND Karnak in 3.75" form but never Triton, Karnak or Gorgon in 6". We know Hasbro can do accurate articulated animals from the Dungeons & Dragons 2 pack, so there's Lockjaw. Triton, I'm surprised they haven't put him out using the Black Knight/Green Goblin scaled body yet. The last Medusa was fine from the neck down. Its that hair they keep messing up. It cant be some static blob of plastic. Use that saran fiber hair instead. Maybe alternate heads? Black Bolt, I liked the alt head they used in the Panther wave. Maybe just make a bigger mold and go from there. Gorgon, just modify the Hercules from the Thanos BAF. Modify the legs from the Lizard BAF and add the hooves. Karnak, easy to say use the pizza spidey mold, but maybe the Sunfire buck would be better suited. Alternate hands with metallic green paint on the armbands/cestus and good to go.

  8. Nope. Loeb was in charge of Marvel Tv at the time and hated Feige. He basically sold all rights he could so Feige couldn't use them. Also Ike Perlmutter was the man who brought Marvel out of bankruptcy. He did that by selling the movie rights but he was an extreme rascist / sexist person. When Disney took over, Feige wanted to do more with the universe and got Perlmutter and Loeb to leave.

  9. Crystal is one of those figures that I remain just flat-out gobsmacked hasn't been made yet. She would be a very easy figure to do. Though ironically one that probably would have benefitted from the Walgreen's Exclusive model where she could have been packed with a bunch of elemental FX pieces and maybe an alternate short-haired head. The only thing I can figure is that they're either holding out on her until they need a "cheap" figure to fill out an Avengers or FF wave, or they're gonna pack her with Lockjaw in a Deluxe Format. Though she's one I could definitely see filling out say, the first wave of MCU Fantastic Four figures. Medusa is just plain hard to get right. I like aspects of both her figures so far but her hair is a blessing and a curse because I don't think you could ever get it to look right if you say, made it bendy-wire tentacles, but it also doesn't feel right when it's a sculpted brick of plastic. I almost think the only way to really pull her off would be to make her a Deluxe with several heads of different hair action: One a stand she could rest on, one reaching out with graspy bits you could clip on other figures wrists/ankles/waist, another long and straight but not quite touching the floor, etc.... But if I'm honest outside of Black Bolt, Medusa, and Crystal and maybe Lockjaw and Maximus I don't really give a hoot about the Inhumans. Maaaaybe at a stretch Karnak but that's about it. I'd probably prefer comic-based Eternals to the rest of the Inhuman Royal Family.

  10. Personally, I'd love more Inhumans figures . . . starting with Crystal. Unfortunately, I also have to agree that as far as the Inhumans are concerned, Marvel has done a masterful job of tossing the baby out with the bath-water. Still, there was a time we weren't sure we'd ever see any X-Men or Fantastic Four figures in the line either. Anything can happen.

  11. If you're in the minority, I'm there with you. I would love to get some Inhumans figures, although I think both Black Bolt and Medusa need to be redone. And while Crystal might not be in the main six-figure wave, I think a lot of us are expecting additional retro-carded figures to trickle out after the wave like they did with the retro Spider-Man figures.

  12. These uniforms are from the 80’s era where She-Hulk replaced Ben Grimm. If would be nice if they gave us She-Hulk as the 4th member just to mix things up.

  13. Yesss. I would but that in a heartbeat. Would be my collections definitive Human Torch.

  14. Wow, just wow! Surprised Hasbro hasn't released this color version after the white and black ones.

  15. You mean where he's 4x the size of Thor? That'd put him at a good 20+ feet tall even in his "small" size.

  16. I think Hasbro has hit the perfect divide of BAFS and Deluxe figures. Some characters that have a strong enough of a presence like WarMachine, Red Hulk, Toxin, Archangel get very nice deluxe releases that sell phenomenally, then the more obscure or less likely to get solo releases or are harder to fit into standard packaging like Man Thing, Wendigo, Sugar Man, Strong Guy get the BAF treatment. A either way we get to choose to chase the BAF or get the deluxe really it’s win/ win. I really don’t get why there is even an “argument”. Don’t get the whole MCU vs Comic “ fight” either. We are in a Legends Golden Age, with more releases now than in any point in Legends history. It seems to me we are all winning.

  17. Another example of Hasbro just mailing in a fig cuz they know how in demand & popular JL Storm is & people were gonna buy it regardless. I'm a classic Storm fan & was willing to wait it out till Hasbro finally made her. The less endowed look is a downer, but not a deal breaker for me.

  18. Stunning repaint on this! This is what Hasbro should have done!

  19. Wow, that paint is terrific! I actually prefer this to either the white or black versions. Great job!
