After 17 years, Marvel Studios executive Victoria Alonso stepped down from her position and parted ways with Marvel on Friday.  The reasons for the exit are unclear.

Starting out in 2006, as chief of visual effects and postproduction, Alonso launched the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a co-producer on 2008’s Iron Man.  She continued to serve as a co-producer on Iron Man 2 (2010), Thor (2011), and Captain America: The First Avenger (2011).  Alonso became an executive producer on The Avengers (2012) and worked on numerous Disney+ TV series. In 2021, she was promoted to president of physical and postproduction, visual effects, and animation production.

Besides Alonso taking part in many behind-the-scenes projects, she was an important ambassador for the studio’s representation efforts and was outspoken during Disney’s dispute with Florida over its “Don’t Say Gay” bill. “As long as I am at Marvel Studios, I will fight for representation,” Alonso, who is gay, said at the time.

Last week we saw the Marvel Legends Squadron Supreme Hyperion and Doctor Spectrum 2-Pack from Hasbro go up for pre-order at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.

Well it looks like Hasbro is going all in on the Squad this year as we have seen listings pop up for a second Squadron Supreme 2-Pack coming later this year. The second set looks like will include Supreme members Nighthawk and Blur. Like with Hyperion in the first 2-pack, we have already gotten a Nighthawk figure in the Marvel Legends line before. Since these characters have had multiple looks over years I can't say how exactly the figures will appear and the images below are for reference only, and of course these have yet to be officially confirmed by Hasbro so we will treat this as RUMOR for now.
