Medieval Knight Iron Man Figure From Beast Kingdom

    By JayC,
Beast Kingdom’s ‘Entertainment Experience Brand’ has been a proud ambassador of US licensed pop culture collectables for over a decade!

Launching a variety of well received lines, amongst them the DAH (Dynamic 8ction Heroes) series has been one of the most exciting, with a highly articulable 1:9 scale action figure ready to be posed by collectors the world over!

The latest DAH line-up is a new take on classic icons of Marvel Super Heroes with the initial release of the Iron Man DAH-046 and DAH-046DX medieval knight cross-over. Combining the technologically advanced Iron Man suit with a noble European medieval knight's armour, this unique mashup of old and new is an exclusive design from the minds of Beast Kingdom.

Envisioning such a unique new take on a classic character started off with the design-team of Beast Kingdom creating hand-drawn designs of the new Iron Man and knight elements. The sketches were then handed over to the 3D modellers who took the design to the next level by adding the intricate elements of the ‘royal’ red and gold armour, making the character come to life. Finally, after the main figure was created, all the included medieval themed accessories were designed and envisioned with the same design language!

The set recreates and combines a classic design, with engravings, and intricate details of yesteryear, with the modern, aggressive looking Iron Man robotic style suit. A unique aesthetic also passed down to the abundant list of accessories, which includes weapons, effects, and an engraved shield to name a few.

Under Iron Man’s armour, collectors can see real, golden designed chain mail used for the figures suit, just like the original knights wore! An led-light is also there in the same spot of the arc-reactor, this time with intricate detailing on the outside!

A comprehensive set of accessories are at the ready for battle as well. A sword, shield, spear and wrist artilleries look as though they are straight out of the Middle Ages! They match with Iron Man’s signature hand mounted repulsors, energy effects, as well as a set of energy potions and bombs strapped to his waist as issued by Iron Man’s trusty alchemist! Make sure to check out the Deluxe, DAH-046DX version, which in addition to the above accessories also includes a Tony Stark head sculpt, long grass and a jetpack, making this knight ‘out of time’ ready to dominate any battlefield!

A new take on a classic character, this uniquely designed action figure set is for fans of the Iron Man we all love, but with a twist unlike any other. You can pre-order both versions now at BigBadToyStore.com.

Hasbro Pulse-Con 2021 Marvel Legends - What Might We See?

    By JayC,

Hasbro's Virtual Pulse-Con event is just days away, and with that speculation on what we might be seeing has already begun to run rampant on the net. While speculation is always fun which I will be doing a little bit here, I thought it also might be a good idea to recommend some caution in setting expectations to high for how much new Marvel Legends product we will actually be seeing. Like this year, there is definitely a lot of Marvel Legends product in the pipeline for 2022, but how much of that will actually get revealed this weekend remains to be seen.

Before we go any further, lets first go over what we know 100% about this weekend in regards to what to expect for Marvel Legends. We know the Marvel Legends panel will be taking place on Saturday October 23 at 2PM ET on Hasbro's YouTube Channel. We of course will have full coverage of that here on MarvelousNews. Here is the official description of the panel:

The Hasbro Marvel product experts will discuss some exciting news around Hasbro’s ever popular MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES action figure line! Viewers will also get a sneak peek of upcoming, never before seen Marvel action figures plus some special surprises as well.

    Jesse Falcon, Marvel
    Dwight, Design
    Ryan, Marketing
    Dan, Marketing
    Julia & Eric Lewald
    Donny Cates
    David Nakayama

The first four names on the panelists list are well known to Marvel Legends collectors and not surprising to see on the panel in any way. Julia And Eric Lewald when it comes to Marvel are best known for their work on the original Fox X-Men Animated Series.

Donny Cates is a Marvel Comics artist and writer who has worked on titles such as Venom. David Nakayama is also an artist who has done work for Marvel primarily specializing in comic covers. I know Nakayama did a variant cover for Cates' Venom #1, but I don't know if that has any baring on the two of them being on this panel.

Besides that we know there will be two Marvel Legends Pulse-Con exclusives going up for purchase. This includes the Marvel Legends Retro Cardback Spider-Man Animated Series Venom for $31.99 and the Marvel Legends Series M.O.D.O.K. World Domination Tour Collection set for $73.99. I know they will be offering exclusives each day (10/22-23) on the Pulse website. This will start at 4pm ET for premium members and 5pm ET for everyone else. It's not clear if all the Pulse exclusives will be offered on both days or be split up between the two days. For instance I don't know if these Marvel exclusive will be offered Friday and Saturday, or just on Saturday after the Marvel Panel. My feeling is both days, but again Hasbro hasn't made that super clear. I really don't think these will be that hard to get either way.

Finally Hasbro's Dan Yun seemed to be warning folks on social media to lower expectations for what will be revealed with a tweet saying "Your guesses...lower the expectations".

So what do I expect to see this weekend? While I don't have any insider info on specifics, I think we will see at least 6 new items revealed. Almost definitely more but at least 6.

I think the chances are high we will see the Marvel Legends 20th Anniversary wave fully revealed. We saw the Captain America figure for this wave revealed last week by Unparalleled Universe. The other 3 figures rumored for this wave include Iron Man, Hulk and a new Toad figure. These will be modern versions of the figures released in the first Toy Biz wave.

I don't know if we will be seeing any regular waves fully revealed this weekend. My feeling is we might be getting a bunch of partial reveals and teases. One reason for this might be due to all the shipping delays going on with the back ups at the ports here in the United States. Hasbro may be reluctant to open pre-orders for a lot of new product right now, and this goes for all their brands.

Another reason for not seeing any regular waves being revealed this weekend is that we continue to see Disney push back release dates for upcoming MCU movies as we reported on yesterday. I know there are planned waves for each of the movies mentioned yesterday, but I am not really expecting any kind of reveals for them this weekend. Maybe a few teases with some of the comic book based figures in the Dr. Strange wave. If so you won't want to sleep through that.

Of course there is the rumored X-Men and comic based Avengers waves I have reported on previously. I don't expect those to be going up for pre-order this week, but I do feel like there is a good chance we will at least get some of those revealed on Saturday.

We can expect more Disney+ stuff to come in 2022, but I don't expect there to be much emphasis on any of that this weekend., I would say if we see anything it might be something teased for Hawkeye.

Spider-Man is going to be celebrating his 60th Anniversary in 2022, and I am expecting Hasbro to be releasing product for that which is something I could see them possibly starting to tease this weekend.

I know there is at least one more 3.75" Retro wave coming, so we might start to see that as well as more role-play replica items.

Then of course there are store exclusives. We know more are coming, so I definitely wouldn't be surprised if we some kind of reveals on that front.

So that's all I have for now. Again I think keeping expectations for the amount of new product revealed this weekend on the lower side is good advise. That way if they show more than expected, we will be pleasantly surprised as opposed to feeling disappointed.

Of course as I mentioned above, speculation is always fun, so let us know what you hope to see in the COMMENTS SECTION below.

She-Hulk Is Back To Shake Up The Marvel Universe In New Comic Series

    By JayC,
Marvel’s sensational powerhouse returns! One of comics’ most beloved heroes, Jennifer Walters, A.K.A. She-Hulk, will star in a new ongoing comic series starting in January. Written by acclaimed author Rainbow Rowell (RUNAWAYS) with art by Rogê Antônio (X-MEN: RED, HELLIONS), SHE-HULK will see the character embark on a journey that heralds back to her fan-favorite solo adventures of the past while embracing a fresh new future for the character. Promising to be a delight for fans as well as newcomers to She-Hulk’s saga, the series will once again prove why Jennifer Walters is the greatest character around!

Following her transformative time in Jason Aaron’s AVENGERS, She-Hulk is eager to put her rage-filled days behind her and return to practicing law in defense of the innocent. She’s got a career to rebuild, friends to reconnect with (and maybe represent in a court of law) and enemies to…well, she may not want to connect with them, but they are DEFINITELY going to connect with her. And when a friend from her past comes knocking with a mystery she can’t resist, she’ll quickly be back to bashing. The last page of this debut issue is going to send Jen down a road she’s never traveled, one that will shake up her life and possibly the whole Marvel Universe.

“She-Hulk is the best of the best,” Rowell said. “She’s smart, she’s funny—and she’s really and truly heroic (all that and she has the best hair in comics). Jen has always been at the top of my Marvel wishlist, and I’m thrilled to be writing her next chapter.

"I’m very excited and feel honored to be a part of this exciting new phase of She-Hulk,” Antônio said. “Working with Rainbow Rowell has been inspiring and it’s amazing how she lets her passion for the character shine through on every page. I hope the fans have as much fun reading as I’m having illustrating these new adventures."

A premiere issue so big it’ll have not one but two dazzling main covers—one by astounding cover artist Jen Bartel and another by comics legend Adam Hughes! Check them out below and be there when She-Hulk smashes her way into a new era on January 12.

No Hero In The Marvel Universe Is Safe From Kingpin's Rage

    By JayC,

DEVIL’S REIGN, the upcoming Marvel Comics event spinning out of writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Marco Checchetto’s Eisner-nominated run on DAREDEVIL, kicks off in December. And come January 2022, all hell will break loose as Kingpin’s reign threatens every corner of the Marvel Universe, overtaking your favorite characters in multiple new tie-in series and one-shots. This far-reaching saga will center around Kingpin as he embarks on a vicious quest to rid the world of every last super hero through any means necessary…

In DEVIL’S REIGN #3, New York City stands at the brink of disaster as Mayor Wilson Fisk has at last reached a breaking point, with an army of super villains at his back, and a deputized crew of super villainous Thunderbolts on the streets and in every police station. Worse still, he’s put the Marvel Universe’s most powerful tools into (all six) hands of one of its most diabolical minds, unaware of the disaster that could befall the entire city as a result! As a gauntlet of super villains stand between Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man and Daredevil and liberating the heroes who have been captured by Fisk’s law enforcement, they’re ALL about to learn that the danger is closer than they ever thought possible.

In addition, Chip Zdarsky will continue his landmark Daredevil run in DAREDEVIL: WOMAN WITHOUT FEAR! With art by Rafael De Latorre, this limited series will star Elektra as Daredevil in a pulse-pounding chapter that spins directly out of the shocking revelations in the pages of DEVIL’S REIGN!

Elektra is the world’s deadliest assassin — and she’s taken a vow not to kill. Someone puts themselves directly in her path with deadly consequences. What else would you expect from the Marvel’s Greatest Hunter?

"When we were planning out Devil’s Reign it become apparent early on that Elektra's story is too big to be contained in the main series,” Zdarsky told ComicBook.com. “Wilson Fisk has unearthed her darkest secret and I'm super excited for readers to see the fallout in this series!"

And check out these other exciting tie-ins coming in January:

Writer Gerry Duggan and artist Phil Noto reunite in DEVIL’S REIGN: X-MEN. Emma Frost has many skeletons in her closet, but only one of them is currently Mayor of New York City. The truth about the White Queen’s secret past with the Kingpin of Crime comes to light. As Wilson Fisk makes his play, will his old ally Emma Frost stand in his way? Or protect the secrets they share?

Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing, the writing duo behind the hit current series KANG THE CONQUEROR, team up with artist Nico Leon in DEVIL’S REIGN: WINTER SOLDIER. A power-mad Mayor Fisk has been gathering information on super heroes. How far will Bucky Barnes go to steal the file on his own shadowy, half-remembered past as the Winter Soldier? And what horrible revelation awaits him if he can get past the Kingpin? Some secrets are meant to stay buried. And some doors are meant to stay closed.

"Chip and Marco's Daredevil has been one of our favorite books on the shelves since its debut, so of course the Hivemind is deeply excited to be contributing to its culmination in Devil's Reign,” Lanzing told SYFY Wire. “Kingpin has never been a more terrifying villain than he is right now - which lets Collin, Nico and I go all-out with a shadow-soaked showdown between Fisk and one of the few fighters alive who might be able to stand against him: Bucky Barnes.

Meet Kingpin’s terrifying new team of villains in writer Clay McLeod Chapman and artist Manuel Garcia’s DEVIL’S REIGN: VILLAINS FOR HIRE. New York City is on a razor’s edge, and there’s only one force fighting for the rule of law in the chaos: Wilson Fisk’s Thunderbolts!

Make way for a shocking twist on the Fantastic Four in Zac Thompson and Davide Tinto’s DEVIL’S REIGN: SUPERIOR FOUR. Otto Octavius has acquired a taste for the infinite. Empowered by Wilson Fisk, Doctor Octopus faces a tantalizing, unprecedented opportunity to scour the Multiverse, amassing an army of…himself.

An army to march on our reality, proving Otto’s supremacy — and it all begins with his Superior Four!

"Participating in the huge scope of Chip and Marco's Devil's Reign event is thrilling," Thompson told CBR. "Getting to do it with a Doctor Octopus at the center is a dream come true. Superior Four is the type of insane premise that only works in comics and Davide and I are just having a blast.

Kingpin turns up the heat in LUKE CAGE: CITY OF FIRE #2 by Ho Che Anderson and Ray-Anthony Height. Luke Cage and Daredevil are on a dangerous journey across New York City to deliver someone to a safe house, but to do so, they must first get through the lethal Regulators, angry mobs and the mayor himself, Wilson Fisk! The issue will serve as a prelude to the event and introduce a new villain known as Jo Rockhead.

"The first time I wrote the names 'Luke Cage' and 'Kingpin/Wilson Fisk' in a script I broke out into a giant grin, I thought, are you kidding me?!" Anderson said in a recent interview. "These are some of the best toys in the business and I'm honored and excited to get to play with them, and in the character Jo Rockhead, to get to make my own contribution to the Marvel Universe."

And it’s Spider-Woman VS. Spider-Woman in Karla Pacheco and Pere Pérez’s SPIDER-WOMAN #19. The series continues its’ Devil’s Reign tie-in arc that will see Jessica Drew question everything. Starting with whether she is the true Jessica Drew!

Check out the January covers now as well as a handy DEVIL’S REIGN checklist and be there when Kingpin’s rule begins this December!

Is there a part of you that can understand where I was coming from, other editors have been plagiarizing my character histories, and then you come in and switch out the photos that I took the time out of my busy schedule to contribute to this database. The examples that you provided didn't help because the person asked you to help him with those because he couldn't speak English so it was hard for him. You made me feel that the work I do was for nothing because my pics weren't good enough but with further analysis you didn't make that much of a change to them. And I thought when something like that happens, an editor should write in the explanation box on why they made the changes. If you did that I know for sure things would not have escalated like it did. I apologize for my language, and for the Iron Man thing but I get very passionate about my work. It's up to you if you want to undo the ban, but if not then the rest of the years I have been on here it's been an honor working with you.
