  1. An animated feature featuring Spider-Punk is currently in the early stages of development, with co-writers Daniel Kaluuya and Ajon Singh collaborating for Sony Pictures Animation. At this moment, no plot specifics have been disclosed. Still, it is anticipated that Kaluuya will return to voice Spider-Punk, a character he portrayed in 2023’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and is set to reprise in the forthcoming Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Amy Pascal will be joining Christopher Miller and Phil Lord of Lord Miller in the production, having previously collaborated with them on the Spider-Verse films and other ventures. Source: Deadline
  2. As reported by Deadline, Mark Ruffalo is currently in discussions to return as the Incredible Hulk in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, as confirmed by sources. Tom Holland is set to return, and Sadie Sink will appear in a new, yet undisclosed role. Furthermore, Jon Bernthal is confirmed to reprise his role as the Punisher in this film. Destin Daniel Cretton will direct the project from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Amy Pascal and Marvel president Kevin Feige are serving as producers. The details of the film's plot, set to premiere on July 31st, 2026, are being kept under wraps. Ruffalo has featured in several Marvel films such as Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, as well as in the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
  3. https://marvelousnews.com/266-37275 Marvel Studios is remaking the X-Men movie and will be looking for fresh faces, rather than actors we have seen before in major movies. Sources are saying Marvel has a movie scheduled for July 2027, but it's not the X-Men reboot.
  4. Casting will commence shortly, and Marvel is seeking younger talent and wants to stay away from 'A-Listers' for the new X-Men movie. Jake Schreier is set to direct an upcoming X-Men movie from a script penned by Michael Lesslie. This is to control costs, according to an agent. Marvel has scheduled a film for July 23, 2027, but sources say it is not the X-Men film. Robert Downey Jr. will reprise his role as Doctor Doom for Avengers: Doomsday. This return comes with a significant price as Downey Jr. stands to earn $500 million to $600 million across seven Marvel films and three guest spots. He will not accept a reduced rate for Doomsday. Chris Hemsworth, returning as Thor, will also command a high salary. Marvel plans to release the film on December 18th, 2026. The upcoming Marvel film set to release in theaters is Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31st, followed by Doomsday in December and Avengers: Secret Wars in December 2027. Marvel is not rushing the Blade reboot or a new Deadpool film; however, there are discussions about a potential Black Panther 3 directed by Ryan Coogler. Source: Variety

  6. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the four-part Marvel animated series, Eyes of Wakanda, will now debut all four half-hour episodes on August 1st. This release is a few weeks earlier than the originally planned date of August 27th. Marvel Animation’s new action-adventure series 'Eyes of Wakanda' follows the adventures of brave Wakandan warriors throughout history. In this globe-trotting adventure, the heroes must carry-out dangerous missions to retrieve Vibranium artifacts from the enemies of Wakanda. They are the Hatut Zaraze and this is their story. Todd Harris is directing the project with executive producers Ryan Coogler, Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Zinzi Coogler, Sev Ohanian, Kalia King, and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt. The cast features Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Larry Herron, Adam Gold, Lynn Whitfield, Jacques Colimon, Jona Xiao, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Gary Anthony Williams, Zeke Alton, Steve Toussaint, and Anika Noni Rose.
  7. This figure is based on the original Punisher design by Mike Zeck.
  8. Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, revealed at a press roundtable that Jake Schreier is the leading candidate to direct the X-Men reboot. The X-Men characters became part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Disney and 20th Century Fox merged in 2019. Schreier made his first appearance in the MCU earlier this year with the film Thunderbolts. “It’s official, Jake Schreier is doing X-Men for us, and we’re very, very lucky,” Feige said. “And we’re very, very lucky to have him and very excited to have him. And so we’re beginning. It’s all starting now. The script’s underway.” The producer confirmed that the positive response to Thunderbolts* played a role in Schreier getting this gig, but his faith in the director extends beyond that. “Jake’s an incredibly smart guy, and he’s an incredibly talented filmmaker,” he said. “We had a great experience with him on Thunderbolts*. And if you saw that movie, what he did with those character interactions, he also has his pulse on, shall we say, a younger demographic. He’s younger than me for sure, but he’s tapped into that in a way that I think was important for Thunderbolts*, much more important for X-Men. Because X-Men, as it was in the comics, will be a very youth-oriented, focused and cast movie.” Source: ComicBook
