  1. At what store did you find the anti-venom set? Oh ok, I thought you had found them at a store in Mexico, was getting my hopes up :p
  2. Really like what you did with Ben, but isn't Scott supposed to have reddish/brown hair? With black hair it really doesn't look like him.
  3. how much did that run you at the local "mom and pop" store? I paid 40 but i also paid 40 for the helicarrier a few months ago at the same spot and those are retailing for 70 Does cap come with a retooled head with covered ears? It looks that way but can't really tell from the pic.
  4. I got my sixth chitauri figure today (still $9 each) and you are right, they look great in large numbers :)
  5. Perhaps there are 7 figures coming, there is at least a fourth confirmed one (Unmasked movie spidey from comic-con's display) so it could be the rest are comic series versions that have not been revealed yet, maybe even a battle damage spidey and lizard.
  6. I also found the beast wave yesterday at TRUS they only had regular spidey, no miles variant. Also found the deluxe chitauri at walmart for $9.00 each, only bought 2 because I had already spent the rest of my cash on the beast wave. I agree these chitauri figures are not that good (mostly lack of articulation, detail wise they look very good), but once you start setting them up as an army against the avengers they look nice :)
  7. Hello everyone, a quick head's up. Found all 4 exclusive TRUS 2 packs today at my local store (Calexico Ca.) I know they've been found elsewhere, what I think has not been reported is that the wolvie/she-hulk and cap/magneto packs come in a box that's marked as X-men 3.75" classics comic 2 packs and cost $18.99 while the spidey/doom and spidey rhino packs come in a box marked as marvel universe comic pack and cost $19.99. So if you manage to get to the store while they're unpacking you can look for them accordingly. There were 4 of each 2 pack per box.
  8. Is he traveling to Mexico, if he is all MU figures have the same number (a sticker on top of the original bar code) it's 53569 34698 I already threw away professor X's box, but the original SKU for miles spidey is 53569 66572 Good luck :)
  9. I found miles spidey yesterday at one of the walmarts here (Mexicali, Baja, Mex). I got to talk to the hasbro rep and she told me it was the only figure left out of 2 boxes they got in. I asked for the line up and she said box had prof x, blastaar (regular and variant), miles spidey, amazing bagman, and jubilee, 2 of each. Apparently walmarts in Mexico are getting the same case that Singapore and Philippines did. She said she doesn't know if they will get more of that specific case as the system orders them automatically and she only knows what case it is when it arrives. Maybe that's the reason calexico got them since they are so close. Hope this info helps.
  10. Just to let you guys know, last night at my local walmart (calexico CA) there was a lone jubilee which I could not afford, and today I visited a friend who got me a prof x, and got for himself beta ray, kraven, ultimate spidey (peter) and new hulk, at a walmart near Los Angeles, and his cousin got jubilee, blastaar, prof x and miles there as well (they went in together). Anyone know what the deal is with the wave that includes prof x, jubilee and blastaar? as far as I can tell from the package these figs are a mini wave, they are the only figures in this wave. Also as the package says hasbro canada. Here are some pics: Hasbro Canada?
  11. I found this 2 days ago at a walmart in Yuma Az. I even took it to one of the employes to let them know of the repack, and the girl insisted that it was just a different case, that they were getting more than one, I showed her the pics on the back and she still wasn't convinced. After making her read the name tags she realized the repack, but the pack itself went back to the shelf instead of getting removed. Will probably end up being bought by some granny or someone who doesn't pay attention either. :P No wonder it's so easy for repackers to get away with it.
  12. Agent Coulson updated. Finally finished his destroyer Gun. I kept the all black color to try and resemble the black version from the thor movie line as I really like that color scheme. I might give it the regular metal grey look someday, but for now it's complete.
  13. Thanks to everyone for their comments. @ steve2477. Your customs are great too. What torso did you use for Paladin?
  14. Hello everyone. Here's my just finished custom Agent Coulson. I used an unmodified agent K body from the MIB 3 series, with a modified (Hair, nose, ear piece and drilled to fit) star wars Ric Ollie head (the 1998 version from hasbro). The hand gun came from a city strike snake eyes. I'm also working on his destroyer gun, made mostly from the launcher that came with the series 1 cap from the avengers line and other fodder pieces. Let me know what you think. :) Destroyer Gun (WIP)
  15. Hi and welcome. You should check the database right here as it has pics of most every current marvel figure, that will make it easier for you to decide which is the best option, since as you put it yourself your list is a bit too long. :)
  16. Yesterday I bought super poseable spidey and lizard (the rest of movie series 1 was there as well) at Walmart (Calexico Ca.) there were 4 of both of them, they also had all new dress-up web shooters, the actual web shooting ones and a set of 1 glove plus sound making web shooter.
  17. Love what you did with her arm armor, looks very good. I have a suggestion about her sword, as it seems you based your custom on the specific cover you posted. You should try getting a hold of deadstroke's sword (or bronze tiger's, it's the same one) as it looks almost exactly like the one she is holding and is the right scale as well. If the sword you made is based on a different one then pay no attention to my suggestion :P Again great job!
  18. Very good job, she looks quite "big" :P great idea to use wonder woman's axe.
  19. I agree with you spiderdan, while they are pricey, they end up being on par with matty figures (MOTU, GB, shipping included) and for me it is either secure them this way or have to deal with long hours to get across the border (I live in Baja, Mexico) to only find left overs if anything at all, not to mention the area has at least 3 scalpers I know of, one of whom I've even seen giving cash to an employee for bringing hot wheels out of the back, so my chances of actually finding loki and hulk in the wild are pretty slim. Cap and Ironman are apparently packed 2 per case seeing how they are the only two with individual orders at BBTS, so I could try ebay just for the really hard to find figures but given hawkeye is probably also one per case, and with individual figures probably going up to 50 minimum, I will go with the lesser evil.
  20. Haha, I guess I overdid myself with the whole regular/variant explanation, point is it sux that current deadpool didn´t come first and might be harder to come by.
  21. Hi, just to let you guys know, these have hit south california, the weird thing is that it was the variant boxes that hit. I went along with a friend to 7 toysrus stores in the san diego area yesterday (plus the one in calexico), and only 2 of them had gotten them, (calexico and I think the grossmont one was the other) I got one of each two pack at calexico, they had 2 boxes both with 2 of each two pack (both with the variants of deadpool/warpath and widow/winter soldier, no regulars) the second store that got them was sold out of both boxes by the time we got there (I showed the upc to one of the employes cause I was looking for regular versions) an she told me a "collector" had gotten both boxes already. I say only variants arrived because of my findings and the fact that the only figures listed so far at ebay from the califronia area are the variants (except for the hulk pack which you know has none). Sorry I didn't upload pics but my camera broke down.
