Variant Adam Warlock found
GreenLanternPrime replied to wolverine2281's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Wow! I hope that this isn't some sort of deception. I'm not really into the character but this is waaaay better than the one we got. I want it! -

Spider-man Classics Series 12 Spidey
GreenLanternPrime replied to Jormungand's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
1. love him. 2. crap 3.love him. 4. hate the face 5. not fond of the colors The first is overall the best one but I like #5 because I'm picky about the web detail. My FA Spider-Man has great web definition but I'm not crazy about the small eyes (accurate to the mask back in the sixties though). #5 is a blue base color with the red added on which makes the red too dark. The others are red with the blue painted on. My Fearsome Foes Spidey's webs are almost non-existant. Spider-Strength Spider-Man (some call him the David Finch/Avengers version) should get an honorable mention but his red is too dark also. The newest Spider-Man, #5 on the list, is like a dark version of the McFarlane one with great web detail. I like it, but I agree that the McFarlane one is overall the best. -
Would you buy this?
GreenLanternPrime replied to ironspiderman's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
As I understood it the Imperfects were copyright EA Games. You've heard of Marvel vs. Capcom, well that was Marvel vs. EA so to speak. I don't think Hasbro could make them under the Marvel licence but they could conceivably obtain the EA licence. -
Packaged pics of the nemisis wave
GreenLanternPrime replied to clonekiller72's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
My biggest problem with Black Bolt is his articulation. I wish Hasbro would have used the same body as they did for Nova or black suit Spider-Man. I'm not sure what can be done about the wings. -

Daredevil looks small but good. Tigra could have used some curves like Shanna and Black Bolt, well, see my sig. -
Our Marvel Legends-less Christmas
GreenLanternPrime replied to JohnnyRebelV2's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Seriously. I haven't done any shopping for my wife and kids yet. I don't have the Ares wave yet and now wave 5 of DCUC is out. I just ordered DCUC wave 4 so it will be an action figure Christmas for yours truly. -
Best Build-a-Figure ever?
GreenLanternPrime replied to VenomFan's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Galactus and Red Hulk for me but it isn't an easy choice. Rulk really succeeds because he's a Hulk figure that does NOT have "Jazz Hands". If Face Off Hulk had fists I wonder if I would ever buy any more Hulk figures. -
Marvel Legends Dead???
GreenLanternPrime replied to Cylix3341's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Even if Hasbro did give up on ML, Diamond Select or someone else would snatch them up immediately. I know Hasbro isn't above abandoning lines (like Indiana Jones). Take heart, my friends, we'll be shelling out cash for these figures for years to come. Just watch! -
Hmmm. Captain America has the flag of Puerto Rico on his costume. Seriously, his hips look better than MS Iron Man, though. Personally I'm looking forward to Mar-Vell. Look out Thanos!

The Defenders vs. The Offenders
GreenLanternPrime posted a topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
I saw this cover and thought how cool it would to have a wave (or 2) of these characters. We already have Ed's Red Hulk figure but perhaps a new one can have exchangeable hands with the huge, gold weapons. A new, decent, Namor too! Last night on Heroes, Hiro was at a comic shop. He made note of "Cap's dead? Hulk is Red?" Great stuff. -
Did any one hear of this?
GreenLanternPrime replied to tarot's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
I made a thread about her over at Fwoosh. I've always been a fan of that cheesy '70's costume. Marvel Select has always been 7 inch scale, right? I keep hearing "too tall" regarding recent MS figures. If they weren't always 7 inch I'll go find that MS Emma Frost and Black Widow then. -
I'm disappointed! Where are the "Hasbro is going to discontinue Marvel Legends! The 4 inch line is the proof!" responses? :) I haven't bought the Ares wave yet or the recent DC Universe classics either. By the time I get caught up there will be HML news before you know it, friends.

best hulk figure to own
GreenLanternPrime replied to abazou's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Red Hulk! Face Off Hulk is good but I don't like his hands. Imagine a Face Off Hulk with fists and ab articulation. Plastic Perfection! -
Shatterstar Marvel Legend + 'Variant'
GreenLanternPrime replied to WingsCustoms's topic in Marvelous Customs
Shatterstar came out great but that Domino is fantastic! Is that a Ms. Marvel base figure? If the Hasbro version looked like her I would have bought the 2 pack. -
SO...WHO'S THE BEST FROM THE ARES WAVE?
GreenLanternPrime replied to pooda's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
My favorite is Kang because he saved me money! Now I don't have to get the FF Classics version like I started to do. Too bad the Hasbro version doesn't have the weapon the first one had. No big deal. -
First action figure
GreenLanternPrime replied to 1robert333's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Do you mean the Secret Wars figures where each character had a shield that had a lenticular animation pic in them? Cool. I found my Falcon from that line recently (technically my daughter found him in the basement). I also had Iron Man,Captain America, Wolverine, Dr. Doom, Doc Ock and Black Suit (& red suit) Spidey. -
First action figure
GreenLanternPrime replied to 1robert333's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Well thanks for reminding me that I'm one of the oldest guys on this board! I don't remember the very first one but it was most likely a G.I. Joe (from around 1974 or so). Superhero wise I'd say it was a MEGO Spider-Man I got when I was in the sixth grade. Ah the memories! I still have most of my MEGO (Marvel and DC)figures but they aren't in the best shape. To me, Marvel Legends is the heir apparent of MEGO as far as my emotional attachment goes. -
Here are more comparison pics.
