  1. BAF Hulk is better than tiny head Hulk. I've seen two completed BAF Hulks on Ebay. Tempting but I'll just get the set.
  2. Thanks for posting these! This may be my favorite Spider-Man figure. I love black webs like on the first appearance ML Spidey.
  3. I like the Hasbro Elektra better. I have a ToyBiz one too but the new one wins.
  4. I wanted to mention that this armor appeared in (2004 Marvel Knights) Incredible Hulk numbers 71 and 72. The art, which is also on the box, is by the talented Mike Deodato, jr.
  5. I posted pics in another thread about three weeks ago to show scale and etc. There were no comments so I thought no one really liked the figure. Here are the pics. Cool figure but it doesn't stand up as well as it could. I had to add him to my armory!
  6. Ever since SOTA toys' Street Fighter figures started using the interchangable heads and hands I've wanted Hasbro to do that too. I mentioned that in a thread once (was Hasbro listening?)! My favorite 2 Pack is Ronin and Elektra but I'm not crazy about Mr. Fantastic. I would have used just about any previous Reed Richards head but that one. Maybe the FF Classics one would work. The DC figures are great too. A good friend of mine only wanted the Grundy Collect & Connect so he's giving me all the loose figures from the new set. I plan on getting a Solomon Grundy at some point.
  7. The Marvellegends.net feature has a ton of good pics of the 2 packs. Were there any comparison pics someone wanted to see in particular? Here's an example of the Elektras. "Bad Day for Bullseye!"
  8. Oh, it's time for the old man to step in. The Savage She-Hulk figure is too short. She was tall from the very beginning in her comics. I collected the series from the beginning. I still sort of like the figure but the scale is off. The Blob series one is more like it. Here's a cover gallery to help out. Check out issue #2 especially. http://www.comics.org/covers.lasso?SeriesID=2563
  9. I would love it if Black Bolt had great articulation but he doesn't this time. Having received the Ka-Zar set and the 2 packs I can tell Hasbro must be starting to listen. Ka-Zar, Ronin, Ultimate WWII Captain America, Forge and Wolverine all have some of the best articulation ever. Yeah, I know I talked about Ronin in other threads but I was just surprised how cool he is since I don't even read Avengers. I want a 2 pack of Black Bolt (with good articulation) and Medusa.
  10. I'd like to have new 2 packs of the following: (new) Namor and Attuma with Atlantean weapons, Aim Agent and classic Doombot with guns and gadget accessories, Scarlet Witch and Magneto, Jim Lee Jean Gray and classic Polaris, First Appearance Wonderman and Perez Ultron, Deadpool and modern Mystique, Classic Ms. Marvel and Deathbird, Swordsman and Mantis, Black Panther and Storm, Klaw and Whirlwind, Wrecker and Bulldozer, (Toys-R-Us Exclusive....just because!) Thunderball and Piledriver, (Toys-R-Us Exclusive....just because!) Firestar and Justice, Gladiator and Lilandra, Paibok the Power Skrull and a Shi'ar soldier, Extremis Iron Man and Crimson Dynamo, Thunderbird and ShadowCat, Odin and Loki. I've got to stop because I could keep going. That's scary.
  11. I'm pleased with my Ka-Zar/ Shanna set overall. Zabu looks like a Beast Wars Transformer since he's based on a G I Joe Sigma Six tiger but with a new head, tail and color scheme. Shanna and the savage She-Hulk use the same body but with different heads and left arms. I wish that the Namor figure had a similar body and articulation of this Ka-Zar.
  12. I think you should get the open cockpit Iron Monger. I'm not sold on getting the blue one just yet.
  13. Great reviews! I ordered the SDCC box set and I was pleasantly surprised at King Hulk in particular. His articulation blows Face Off Hulk away. If Skaar had articulation like King Hulk he'd be one of my all time favorites. Instead, Skaar got stupid proportions and horrendous leg articulation. I expected to love Wendigo, I didn't expect She-Hulk to be so tiny compared to Hasbro's other She-Hulk. King Hulk wins "Best of the Set" for me, and I'm not really a fan of the World War Hulk storyline.
  14. I can't believe someone else likes Mantis besides me! I want an Avengers wave!
  15. I just received my Open cockpit Iron Monger (and Titanium Man) from hasbrotoyshop.com today. 'Monger IS articulated at the waist. He's more poseable than the first 'Monger, in fact. His head doesn't turn though. What is shocking is that Titanium Man is shorter than Iron Man. Hey!
  16. That Mr. Fantastic is from the old Mike Wieringo style box set but repainted in classic colors. The Thing is from the HML FF wave but with classic color trunks. I'd like him to be a bit bigger but I doubt it. Where's Sue and Johnny?
  17. I like box sets, especially the Fearsome Foes one (Best Rhino ever. PERIOD.). I'm afraid they just don't sell well though. I just bought the Toy Biz monster set a couple of weeks ago from a local comic shop. It's a cool set but Frankenstein and Werewolf by Night are tiny considering they're by ToyBiz. Young Avengers boxes were stacked up at TRU and Wal Mart. I think if the characters are cool the set will do well. It seems 2-packs are going to be the norm. I hope I'm wrong about this because I want a Wrecking Crew set and a Thunderbolts set with Masters of Evil as set variants. Not to mention an Iron Man foes set with Mandarin, Blizzard, Whirlwind, Whiplash and Crimson Dynamo.
  18. Check out the figure wish list threads for tons of ideas. Adam Warlock, Deadpool, Firestar, and Storm just to name a few. I'd love to see Iron Man villains.
  19. I thought that I was the only first appearance Wonder Man fan. I'm glad to see that I was wrong! If Hasbro did a FA Wonder Man and a Count Nefaria I'd be on my way to Old School Avengers heaven! I have always felt that Iron Man and the Avengers could sustain their own successful line. Simon Williams FTW!!!!
  20. Robb has done it again! This Torch has got to get Hasbro's attention. Can you explain the head swap process?
  21. Hey Robb, I mentioned before that you've made Aragorn and not the black steed Valinor. Good news! I read that the Black Knight has a new winged stallion (since he gave away Aragorn and Valinor was stolen) that looks like Aragon. The new white steed is known as Strider! Strider grants Black Knight the ability to not only fly but travel even underwater with his own air 'field' (that's just weird). I got Strider's info from Wikipedia and Marvel.com to be honest. I just got my Black Knight figure two days ago and now I want a Strider too!!!
  22. Fantastic Job! Are you going to add the reigns and saddle? I wish that there were more vehicles and creatures from the Marvel Universe to go along with the Marvel Legends. This horse is Aragorn by the way. Black Knight gave Aragorn to the Valkyrie then later he got a black steed with bat like wings whose name is Valinor (sorry to get all 'comic book geek' on you). Once again, great job!
