  1. The xmen have had tons of non mutants members for decades. Longshot for one. Danger is a machine. The point of the xmen was to help bridge the gap between mutants and humans so having it be exclusive to mutants is counter to what they want.
  2. Rekt just confirmed that the second listing of the SBTB character is actually the codenames for the Demogoblin wave so you can ignore that.
  3. Rekt has looked into some rumoured listing that have been hoping around the internet for a bit include what looks to be the codenames of what I think are the Venom wave. If you don't want to watch the video, he found out that there might be a Vintage Spider-man wave. The rumored Listing has the wave consist of: Spider-man Peter Parker Gwen Stacy Daredevil Electro Green Goblin He also found a listing for another Spider-man wave that he and I believe is actually the Venom wave since that line is a branch of the Spidey subline. All the characters are codenamed off of the Characters from saved by the bell but one name is obvious hinting at Shriek. I'll let you guess which one. Zack Slather Kelly Kimberly Jessie Screech Again all rumors and nothing confirmed.
  4. I agree. Having a full Venomized wave wouldn't be a great idea, from a fan view as well as marketing. It's better to spread the figure out over multiple waves and Exclusives, like they did with the Spider-verse/geddon.
  5. dude I know you are X-men fanatic but this is an Avengers list. Please only used X-men that were members. X-23 is out. LOL
  6. Hell, they has even said that the Asgardians and all pantheons are an alien races that primitive people mistaken for gods, in BOTH the comics and the movies.
  7. Like it has been said, it is a bad idea. Sure you can send the first wave to store but if it doesn't sell, stores won't order the second part. That will leave the baf unfinished for many people. Also you have to think how a giant would even be split. You might be able to split the torso but what about the arms and legs. Only give the hand and feet? that wouldn't work with Hasbro's articulation for some pieces. The Titan class is the way to go. I only wish hasbro would stop making the 12" line just bigger version of already existing character and just do new characters.
  8. Venom and morbius are both part of that whole spiderman cinematic universe that sony are trying to push. It make more sense to put him in a venom wave.
  9. Oh it's spread out a bit. I'm going to assume that Morbius will be combine with Venom this time so less Venom like figure but we better get shriek and at less one of the Life Foundation symbiote, probably Agony to give us a second female and easy repaint. I am assuming that since the avengers game was supposed to be out in April Hasbro couldn't hold back the wave. Although it would explain why they are thinking of a second wave. Also for those wondering, the Deadpool wave is the Strong guy wave.
  10. Please keep this thread to news, leaks and tips guys.
  11. This may be me but it seems hasbro releases a figure in the regular line from a team to gauge whether people want the rest, like sasquatch and guardian or any of the of the serpent society. If the figure is successful they release a whole box set of the rest
  12. Imo, any costume that the character will constantly go back to in some form, like wonder man black and red w, is the classic version.
  13. Guy you're going off track again. Team completions only. Scales and stuff are not what we're talking about. Okay. Go.
  14. I love how people are saying they shouldnt have made squirrel girl because she is not a classic character when she was created by one of the fathers of modern marvel comics, steve ditko
  15. The thing about the Avengers is, more then the X-men, F4, Defenders................well any team, is that you will be very hard pressed to find a big name characters that hasn't been an avenger at some point. It's the more obscure and hardly used one that will be a hard sell. Swordsman for instance, even though he seemed to be returning in Empyre, will be hard to convince people to buy. If we do get him, it should be a 2-pack with Mantis.
  16. Here's another question. Do you guy prefer getting a full roster or would you mind if Hasbro only did the core members? for example the Alpha Flight box set gave us the full core roster of AF. Sure we want Marina and Box but they aren't really who you think of when you think of AF, mostly the ones we got already. If I was to use another example, the Defenders have pretty much gotten their core members, Dr. Strange, Hulk, Silver surfer, Namor, Valkyrie, Nighthawk and Hellcat. I wouldn't mind them doing ther rest but they are just add-ons. Squadron has gotten 3 members and if they do Spectrum and Power Princess I would happy, not needing the rest.
  17. Guys. This is a warning. keep this thread talking bout what the subject is. Stop trying to make it a thread about your view on comic, toys or politics. This is a forum about a toys. keep it to that.
  18. Unfortunately this is just another case of Hasbro catering to the very minor group of whiners. People whined that the BAF the last time wasn't in his classic form (even though the classic was in the wave) so Hasbro made this one for them. It may seem like I'm complaining but these Fan Channel Variant are actually a great way to get variant of figure that should have been released alongside the regular figure but couldn't though to things like distribution or lack of interest. I would love for them to continue this. For example, give us an X-Force Nightcrawler, using the exact same Wendigo wave one with the angry head.
