  1. Great question!! Make mine: Loved: Doc Samson & Wendigo, so we'll keep those... The rest would include: McFarlane Hulk Valkrye Nighthawk Ringmaster General Ross Red Hulk
  2. Hey LegendsCollector, have you seen this wave anywhere in the Denver area? I haven't seen anything on the south side of town yet. LMK...
  3. That's a great question. Without a doubt, yes. Without going into detail as there are a lot of kiddies on this forum...just think of all the possibilities with all those arms and hands.
  4. I'd want a sampling of my most wanted from all around the MU... First Appearance Storm-the promos looked amazing and we know she's ready to roll!! Chameleon-Spidey's first super villian finally deserves a fig, make mine in a business suit with interchangable JJJ, Robbie Robertson and Norman Osborne heads!! Valkrye-another good looking figure we know is ready to roll that would complete my early Defenders team. Classic Ultron-my Avengers villians will never be complete without him. Arcade-I realize I'm probably the only one who wants him, but it is my list!! Jocasta-as my Avengers choice b/c I think she would make an interesting ML, but I'd be just as happy w/a USAgent figure. Terrax-with the slight edge over Medusa as my FF choice. My last figure is a toss up between a Rogue remake or Nighthawk from the Defenders. BAF-Lockjaw!!
  5. Would LOVE Shaman and Puck, however, we'll get Aurora and Northstar next.
  6. How about this one? This is the one I still use in my Hulk set up. It is from TB's Avengers line (pre-Legends) from the late '90s. To me, it is the classic sculpt of AM and is in scale. The articulation is non-existent, but he's great for posing on a shelf. Loki and the Scarlet Witch from this line are both great alternatives to their Legends counterparts as well.
  7. Any wait is standard lately in this industry. For me, their character selection has left something to be desired over the past year. While a new Thor may appeal to some collectors, who asked for the Captain Marvel or yet another Hulk?!! MS used to put out some great looking figures that were perhaps not quite right for the ML line, yet complemented it nicely. Anyone remember Mephisto? The Watcher? Cloak & Dagger? Hopefully next year will be better for them in terms of character selection, this past year was a waste.
  8. I would be closer to "retirement" from Marvel Legends with the release of this wave... Wrecker Classic Ultron Radioactive Man Enchantress Silver Samaurai Classic Loki Tigershark Classic Red Skull BAF Eternity I left off Toad and Mastermind, who I would very much like to have, as they are more considered mutant villians.
  9. Gambit and Rogue Panther and Storm Hawkeye and Mockingbird Modern Iron Man and Tony Stark SHIELD Silver Samaurai and Viper Nighthawk and Valkrye Winter Soldier and New Captain America Havok and Polaris (X-Factor) If they could find a way to work the Wrecking Crew into a couple of 2 packs that would be awesome!!
  10. To me, a legend implies a classic, or iconic figure, so by that definition, I would rather have figures of the characters I grew up reading. Sometimes though, when the right team comes along, a run on a comic can become an instant classic, making those characters legends. Brubaker and Epting have done that with their Captain America stories; a Winter Soldier figure tops my wishlist of all figures in the MU. From there though, I'd much rather have classic X-Men figures such as Storm, Rogue or Polaris, then any of the New X-Men. Same goes for the Avengers...don't care about getting an Ares BAF when I'd much rather have a USAgent or a Mockingbird.
  11. Yeah, I agree, Hasbro is looking to save money, I don't think he'll be 2 packed. If the Marvel Select people would pull their heads out of their collective a$$, this would be a good opportunity for them. But no...they're staying busy getting ready to release another Iron Man or that Captain Marvel nobody asked for...
  12. Was hoping they'd find a home for the FA Storm Lilandra Aurora Valkrye and Silver Samaurai that they still have waiting in the wings... Others still on my wish list include: Chameleon Polaris USAgent Wrecker and Winter Soldier
  13. I agree with you to a certain degree, however if they wanted to kill the ML line, they could've just ended it now after making us wait for the next line for the better part of a year. Honestly, I don't think they truly know how to market the line. They know it's popular and have had some success with it, but maximizing profitibility while satisfying collectors has been a head scratcher for them. Hopefully the 2 packs will do well for them and encourage them to keep ML alive in that format. I think we all realize that Hasbro is the master of the 3 3/4 figure and has had this in mind for the Marvel brand from the beginning.
  14. Crossbones-AWESOME!! Guardian-FINALLY!! Kang-Not interested enough in him to pay the big bucks, but will certainly pick him up for $10. Vision-does initially look better than the TB one, probably not enough to buy another tho... Pass on the rest including the BAF Ares, no real appeal to me. The 2 packs look awesome, I can't believe we're getting Dum Dum!! Lots of great figures in this line will make me go after building a SHIELD team. I agree, that Tony Stark head is awesome...it already has me thinking about making a custom with a Prof X body!! Kinda disappointed in the Spidey line, most of the figures look odd, perhaps b/c they're protos? Was hoping for a Puma or Tombstone out of this line, oh well... Wouldn't care if the Bro quit the BAF concept, I'd rather keep the figures at the $10 price point and have a head swap or accessory instead. So far this year, exactly zero of the waves have me excited about the BAF, other than selling them on ebay...
