Is Wendigo taller than the Sasquatch figure from ToyBiz ML ?

Well, now we're talking about something different. If the reissue line was completely separate from the Marvel Legends line then sure, I'm all for it.

Do A Jim LeeX-men Wave. or a Dave Cockrum X-Men Wave. Fresh sculpts, meaning new and don't rehash old sculpts. or better yet the Sebastian Shaw and the Hellfire Club Box Set complete with Army Builder goons !!

Again, you have collected these in the past, but there are other new collectors that just are just starting who would wish an opportunity to get these same characters that are no longer available and only in limited quantity or not in enough numbers to satisfy the demand. I say have at thee and let these same characters be reissued with a newer fresher sculpt, and improve on the original and let the old classics sit on your collectors 'shelves and let these appreciate in value since they are the first releases.

Yes, those were the unproduced figures that Toybiz showed off at one of the fairs a while back. Which Hasbro then snatched up and produced (the hydra, anyway).
That what you were getting at?
Those were some sample sculpts for prototypes from a Toy fair sometime 2006. That is the reason why they lack the normal articulation. I'm sure if they made it into actual production, they would have been made with standard ML articulations. I was looking for a Forbush Man and Thor Frog. What a pity it did not make it to the public!

no....everyone isnt silly enough to pay way above normal prices for figs. if you MUST....then i do undertand, but, i feel that these companies need to take steps to ensure that the base figs should be available to everyone. im not against chases or varaints, im just against the fact that they would make a key character a chase or hard to find fig. they make a fig, short pack it and make a chase version of it as well....WTF! as collectors, we deserve to complete the avengers (or whoever u like) with no problem, not chase'em cross the damn universe....IMO
I totally agree. As long as the rerelease is an improvement over the original I'm all for it. Old sculpts from pre-2004 must now make way for improved version. Example Classic red and gold Iron Man, time to retire that into the 2002 shelf ! Juggernaut - shorten those monkey arms for Chrissake. Deadpool need more versions of him and add extra accessories. Jim Lee Cyke - the ToyBiz one looked like a wonky teenager. Bishop - need a smaller cranium on that guy - he's got a head the size of a troll !! Omega Red, lets revisit the guy and make him a tad less huge than before - The one I got is taller than the Hulk!

the ML1 Hulk was and is cool...that was the figure that first caught my eye for buying the marvel legends, and now look where I am....But that head looks down right ridiculous and ruins that figure as for the MS Hulk well now when he and his red counterpart come home theres gunna be a showdown
I like the color of the MS Hulk but agee that it is too bright for a movie Fig but the rest seems to fit to a T
You can just give the Green Hulk a dark wash and that would do the trick. Same with Red Hulk if you find that he is too bright. What bothers me is the new BAF Red Hulk they have shown at the Comic Convention. He has no visible paint wash at all. He looks so plain and no higlights on the molded red plastic on him.

All I'm seeing is a huge clusterf#!@% trying to get these all out before the end of the year and figures that are going to get short packed or hard to come by because of all these effing scalpers ready to pounce these outlets' shelves, watching out for the newest ML s they can get their hands on taht they can put out on auction sites.

Hah! That custom figure looks like it came right straight out from a toothpaste tube !! Gimme a break. What a crock !!

yeah me either. maybe he sold them as buy it nows in some other secret auction site :p
This is probably an indication that the figures are now being soild in the Far East Asian region where MLs are being produced. It usually hits China, Hongkong region first. He probably had contacts there and got the first batches from friends.

It could be a prototype or a sample that broke during display at one of the comic conventions. Hopefully the production types would be more durable. At $45, the auctioneer got a huge profit margin. Raaaarhh !!

but wasnt bi beast hulk sized
He could be hulk sized but with the upper head/lower head config, you'd figure he'd be a full head taller than the Hulk not just as big. In the comics, he dwarfs the Hulk as in 30% bigger and more massive !!
