Who else mAde the grAve mistAke of buying...?
TomTom replied to JohnnyRebelV2's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
I's love to find out how much more expensive/cheaper it is to make action features instead of articulation. As for 1st Appearance Spider-Man, he did look like that back in Amazing Fantasy 15. My only complaint (besides the fact that Toybiz effed up the webbing) is his arms are a tad skinny. Morbius looks crappy, but so does every other vampire. Hydro Man was an epic failure of everything, so he needs a classic look too. -
They announced there would be no single packed Legends, so two-packs are still being released. And they have shown off prototypes off their figures since SDCC.

Except the fact that ML3 was Danny Ketch and ML7 was Johnny Blaze.

What's Worse, Joints that are Stuck or Too Loose?
TomTom replied to Ninjak's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Loose, because if it's stuck, the toy will at least stand. -
It's based on the Extremis design.

Me too, but when I think a toy looks like crap, I'm not gonna keep it to myself.

How not? The articulation is better, the sculpt is better, and the paint is the same. How are they not better?

Both the ML versions are hotter....

There whole first and second wave are all Ml characters already. so what. hasbro keeps re-releasing the same characters. i just think that you guys are FOS. it seems that everyone comes up with every excuse in the book not to like these figs, when all anyone has to say is..."i just dont like it" When the figure that is being released in the same costume and style as on that's already been released in a similar scale, there is a reason to complain. The Marvel Universe is full of obscure characters that would crash ML because it's at retail where people haven't heard of these c

Database Update: MS Stealth Iron Man
TomTom replied to TomE's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
He won't even be that much smaller... -
What happened to MS doing characters that hadn't been in ML (or at least, that costume)?
-
MS-the paint on the Face Off figure is too dull for me.
-
So...much....Venom!!!
-
PFT!!!!! hahahaha. That would be a dream wave. That figure would stop all mine...
-
The ML7 one is probably too big, since that figure has broader shoulders.

Spider-Man Classics or Marvel Legends
TomTom replied to j88wolf88's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
you got the body....now you just need a head. maybe ill put parker in some shots. (he says "what up" Tom Tom) Yeah, I lost both masked and unmasked heads. Still have the mask, though! the head on the fearsome foes spidey is ugly IMO. Pretty much. Why Toybiz didn't just use the McFarlane head, I will never figure out. -
Spider-Man Classics or Marvel Legends

Me too, but I'll agree that the McFarlane figure is still the best. Wish I had one (cough, cough). Seriously, that head looks like the same one as the Ben Reilly figure -
Spider-Man Classics or Marvel Legends
TomTom replied to j88wolf88's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Or, you know, Marvel Legends. I actually think it looks pretty good, and if the promo is any indication, it'll have pretty good articulation. -

He means the new sculpt one (that doesn't look a thing like McFarlane's art): -
Is anyone here NOT building Holocaust?
TomTom replied to Catalyst's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
So, you hate me because I use the term that both Marvel and Hasbro use? And Rollo because he isn't interested in the figures? That's not nice... -
The bad thing about having a bigger Hulk is then you need a bigger Abomination, a bigger Wendigo, and so on.
