  1. Didn't the show end somewhat weakly with weird animation? I think I saw something about it in some video review. They covered a lot of stories from the 80's and 90's in heavily abridged ways. I wonder what might be left from that era. I wonder if they could maintain the feel and just write new stories altogether. I just hope they keep the themes relatively simple and can avoid the zeitgeist of today.
  2. Me too. I believe she actually wore that in the comics as well, while in Russia fighting the Soul Skinner, if I'm not mistaken. I think it's in X-Men 17. I would like that version. Another would be de-iced Iceman in his blue X-Men uniform. Toy-biz did it as a variant. I wish I had that.
  3. For those who have read the X-Men from Claremont's first run to today, do they still read contiguously? When I read in the 90's, they still seemed to be part of the same continuity. I know there have been a billion reboots since the 90's, and especially in light of the HOX/POX reboot, if one picked up an X-Men book from the 80's, 90's, 00's, 10's, and today would they feel like the same characters?
  4. Some of those costumes are unattractive, but I know artists have to change things up from time to time. It makes it more significant when vintage looks are still being used, like Forge, Banshee, and Marrow. It's hard to make something fresh and timeless.
  5. Yes. I really liked that concept when I saw it with Moira. It would be nice if the Love Triangle Cyclops had that as an option.
  6. But wasn't it only in the AoA that Morph and Changeling were identified as alternate versions of each other? Do you think the Animated series Morph was intended to be an update of Changeling? An example of a good retcon, I think.
  7. For real. Those things are so troublesome. Just when I get it posed right, then one of those things falls down.
  8. I really like this packaging. Clever. I never liked the shape of animated Wolverine's mask, but that Jubilee looks good. Storm is good news. Maybe we'll finally get the silver costume! Hopefully Morph is coming. That would be a fun inclusion.
  9. Thanks for posting about the new contest. Congrats to all who have won to this point. Hope I can join you someday.😉 How many of these have we had now?
  10. If I could have refined my vote it would have been X-Men -> Comic Figures -> 90's and earlier. Maybe I should have voted "other". If I had unlimited resources I might be more of a completist, but I probably still wouldn't collect movie figures.
  11. Oh. Thanks. Didn't watch it, obviously. Does that detract from the shield? I'm kind of surprised they went that route.
  12. That figure looks amazing. The colors and sculpt look great. That is a definite pickup if resources permit.
  13. I went with Box because he is closest to the X-universe. I'd rather have his later iteration that was similar to his appearance in the Age of Apocalypse.
  14. I can't see the differences between HoX Siryn and her earlier iterations. I wonder if it would be close enough to fit with 90's X-Force. I'd get the Brotherhood version of Havok. Mutant X would be cool, too. I'm probably one of the few who would be interested. I'm also probably among the few who would get the bandana Wolverine. Someone mentioned the prisoner version of Sabertooth from the Phalanx Covenant era. That could be cool. I'd prefer each of them in Team X to go with Maverick. Then I'd need to find a good stand-in for John Wraith. I really hope Maggot is in his first appearance style.
  15. This looks like a fun wave. I will at least buy Siryn and Maggott, particularly if they are 90's versions. I don't follow the other characters, but I think it is a good sign that they are doing Darwin and Vulcan. It will be interesting to see what versions of Wolverine and Sabertooth we get. Is there any precedent for them both being their Team X versions? Two obscure versions that complement each other in the same wave?
  16. This is a tough one for me as I have the TB red and blue versions, and they are the most obvious choices. It would be nice to get another chance at the O5. X-Factor red would go with Iceman and Cyclops, and would hopefully encourage Hasbro to complete the team with Jean and Beast. It's funny so many of his costumes featured yellow. I don't think it works. Maybe it's because it is paired with red or black. It's hard to want them in any way other than as a sarcastic completionist. I voted for the original X-men costume.
  17. I like all of those options. Good mix of good and bad guys. Nearly completes Amazing X-Men. X-Calibre and X-Ternals have yet to be represented yet.
  18. How different is the X-Force version from the original? My preference is to the original. I would think that if they do make Nightcrawler, they could later release the X-Force version in a vintage wave or something.
  19. Ugh. That Apocalypse. I have all the black pieces with one blue leg. Oh well.
  20. Wow. There have been a lot of BAFs. I have completed: Toybiz Galactus Toybiz Sentinel Toybiz Apocalypse Series Toybiz Giant Man Series Toybiz Onslaught Series Toybiz Mojo Series Toybiz MODOK Series Blob Series Ronan the Accuser Fin Fang Foom Red Hulk Caliban Series AOA Sugar Man I still plan to complete: Warlock Strong Guy
  21. Ugh. Lame. Do not like. Blah. I was really interested in that Cyber.
