  1. So close it up then, mu f**ka!!! Anyway, we're getting these figures, but what will come of the other figures they showed? I really want that Ms. Marvel, White Phoenix, and Havok!!!
  2. I agree with everything everyone's said! I've already begun buying DC Universe figures (and I don't like DC Comics, either!). I will not stop my 6" collection just because they stop Marvel Legends...but I will NEVER buy any 3.75" figures. I'm glad so many others are standing against this as well.
  3. So they're coming out with tons of 3.75 crap for the new Iron Man movie while the people that allowed them to get where they are today (Marvel Legends buyers) get nothing?!? There better be more Marvel Legends stuff to showcase at Toy Fair than just the crap we voted on last year.
  4. Why does Hasbro constantly give us the same generica answer when asked about Marvel Legends. "We're taking a look at all possible angles." They don't care. If there wasn't such a strong fanbase, they'd only stick with the MU series. Which, by the way, still does not sell at ANY stores in my area. I'm sure I've asked this before, but what about the rest of you? Does any store in your area actually sell out of these figures?
  5. I'm sure I'm not the first to bring this to light, but I haven't been on here for a while, so I thought I'd just throw it out there. Does anyone else get the impression the voting process for the 3 new Marvel Legends figures was fixed? Deadpool is rising in popularity due to the Origins film and the chance at his own upcoming movie, the Black Widow is going to be in the new Iron Man movie, and Valkyrie could possibly be in the new Thor movie. I think we're being screwed here. They're just trying to tie everything in with movies to sell product. We didn't really get to vote on anything. I really wanted that White Phoenix, Havok, and Ms. Marvel, too. Sad.
  6. I received an e-mail today from Toys R Us saying if they don't ship my two packs by October 9th, then they're cancelling the order and I'll never get them. What a shitty operation. Why can't they pull some off some of the shelves in one of the stores where they aren't selling as well and give them to me?!? This is f--ked up.
  7. This blows. Other people around the country have been buying extra sets of Shield agents and Skrull/Kree soldiers and I can't even get the sets I ordered from tru.com and I can't find them in the trus in this area. Grrr!
  8. Yeah, I received an e-mail saying they're backordered as well. I better get them eventually...or someone's gonna get murdered.
  9. Has anyone who ordered theirs from the TRU website received them yet? I ordered them online, but they keep changing the release date. An email I got stated August 25th...even though it was already August 27th.
  10. I don't know how likely it will be, but I'd love to see them put out the Havok, White Phoenix, and Ms. Marvel figures.
  11. Well, I'm very pleased we're getting Valkyrie. I voted for that one but didn't expect it to make it. I'm disappointed that Havok and White Phoenix might not be made though. I still feel Hasbro played with the votes. It was more rigged than the 2000 presidential election.
  12. No 2 packs at either TRU, but I did pick up a DC Universe Vigilante figure I wanted, so at least it wasn't a total loss.
  13. Yeah, I think almost everyone agrees the results aren't going to be accurate. They're going to do whatever they want.
  14. Man, I haven't been this excited about toy hunting in a while. I was just going to order them all on their website...but that's not nearly as fun. If I don't find them at my TRUs by the end of this month though, that's what I'll do.
  15. I am so ready for these figures that it's not even funny. Those pics dude took are excellent. The figures look great. I'm checking my TRUs this weekend...although I'm not gonna get my hopes up, because I have a feeling they're not out just yet.
  16. I think I missed my chance. The other Wal-mart I went to in this area only had one Daredevil and 5 or so Punishers left. After seeing what those two looked like...I don't know. If I see the ones I'm looking for in a Wal-mart and they look okay, I'll get them...but they won't be hitting my wishlist that I give my wife every year for birthday and Christmas.
  17. Wow, eleavitt, some major sarcasm there. Maybe I didn't know they were exclusive to Wal-mart.
  18. I'm in central Pennsylvania. Just checked the closest Wal-mart to me today. They didn't have anything...not even an empty peg or a price tag for where they will be. Tomorrow I'm checking another Wal-mart because I'll be in that area. Hopefully I find them. All I really want are Blackbolt and Tigra. Are they supposed to show up at Target or TRU? I'd guess not, considering the short amounts Wal-marts are getting...
  19. actually nevermind i think were only getting 3 packs, here the hasbro release: There's a new wave of Marvel Legends 2 Packs on the way in 2010 and you help to decide who's in them. The basics are simple - six total characters, you pick three and we pick three. Sound like fun? Voting for this all new Fan's Choice will start on July 22nd when we reveal all of the possible choices at San Diego Comic Con. Some of them you might expect to see, some of them might take you by surprise, but you can bet your Sweet Aunt Petunia that they all could make a great addition to your Marvel Legends collection! We've sent along three images to give you a small taste of what's in store. Enjoy! so i think we'll only get 6 new characters, and not 6 packs, where each chosen figure get a compliment one. it looks like they'll just pair up whoever, whether they go together or not. Er...3 packs? Re-read the first sentence buddy. "There's a new wave of Marvel Legends 2 packs..." Hahahahahahaha. Do you really think he thinks they were releasing 3-pack sets (i.e. 3 figures in a box)? Hahahahaha. You REALLY misread his post then. He's saying he didn't understand if they were releasing 3 2 packs or 6 2 packs, but then he figured it out.
  20. Maybe you have money to spend on both Marvel Legends and MU, Riddick. But I don't. I'm not going to switch to a different scale after spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on 6" figures. I'll just live with what I have. If they make more ML, I'll get them, and I'll continue getting DC figures that I can fit into my storylines when I play with my toys. As far as complaining...haven't you noticed that's just about all the internet is? Complaining and porno.
  21. I thought the main reason we complain here in the Marvel Legends forum is because we're loyal to Marvel Legends. Stop telling us if we don't like them, then don't buy them. I think we've made it obvious that we're not buying them.
  22. Yes, MU is getting Jim Lee Jean Grey, which totally sucks. I've wanted an ML Jean Grey for a very long time.
  23. It sure doesn't sound like they're all going to be released when they say, "You pick 3, we'll pick 3." So, you say what you say, but I'll believe different until I see it.
  24. I voted Havok, Phoenix, and Valkyrie, which probably won't be made...considering from other people who told what they voted, no one else has. Haha. They also spelled Phoenix wrong on the vote sheet. Idiots.
  25. I don't know about the areas you guys are in, but the MU and Wolverine Origins figures are just sitting on the pegs in the stores here, and they're not going anywhere. Also, I know everyone says kids make up the biggest percentage of buyers...yet whenever I'm down the toy isles, I don't ever see any kids looking at Marvel or DC figures.
