Yep Marvel Select has really stepped up the game and and they're making Hasbro look lagging more noticeably than normal. Marvel Selects are pretty much the only figures I hold on to & don't get tempted to sell. They are so detailed and solid. Also the price is a big thing. Selects have been very close to the same price ($19.99 to $21.99) for a long time. Marvel Legends retail prices keep rising and the quality doesn't get much better.
I only buy the larger scale Marvel Selects...but that may change soon.

Pfffff too many of you live in the was. Toybiz Marvel Legends, in my world, are a completely different line from Hasbro's. These are all great and welcome additions. I live for new things. Quit fussin'...you can sell your old ones and make a few bucks then pick up these ones.

I was at the Opry Mills mall in Tennessee over the weekend and stopped in the Disney Store. I found some of the Arnim Zola wave (all but Spider-Man & Daken) marked down to $7.99. I took them to the register and learned that all clearance was an additional 30% off. So i got four of them for $6.11 each after tax! The packaging was really banged up b/c they were basically on the floor or hanging just above it...but for that price it doesn't matter!

Dude! That looks awesome and it's a GREAT price!!! The green Hulk from the two pack regularly sells for over $50 to $60 loose and Red Hulk is usually up around $60 to $70...and this is basically a combo of both. With a nice, custom paint job no less! If you get it and don't want it I'd totally buy if from you.

I think the red is just on the cover...with the exceptions of Deadpool, Red Hulk & Elektra. But it would be cool if those were the team suits! I love this and will be reading this book.

Why is there no love for Constrictor and Klaw? We always clamor & wish for villains...then Hasbro gives us two in the first wave and they are peg warmers. I personally love these 2 Marvel Legends but I see them every where I go. I saw some just sitting on clearance at Wal-Mart for $11. What is the problem with these two figures? Did Hasbro just make too many? I see the double packed Extremis Iron Mans & Bucky Caps sell out faster than these two.
I guess the same can be asked for Drax.

Yeah... The red Deadpool is going to be a pain to hunt down...
Nahhh I think it will just take longer to find. Like how Masked Daken & BT Spidey were so scarce at first but now they're pretty readily available and/or you can find them on eBay for under $25 shipping included.

Well so far the Hit Monkey wave isn't even up for Pre-Order yet so it could be a little while still. But it would be great to get them before the new year!

I see that Iron Man allllll over...at least 3 or 4 at every Target, Wal-Mart or Toys R Us. Let me know if you want me to grab one...Target is the cheapest.

It's still so pathetic that they can't get a movie exclusive out even 6 weeks after the movie was released. They must be waiting for the Amazing Spider-Man DVD release to put out the 6 inch exclusive figures.

I walked into Wal Mart (new Orleans) yesterday and got both figures (w/mask) for $11 a piece yesterday.
WOW! $11? They are on clearance already?

Masked Daken goes for between $15 & $20 now on eBay...much cheaper than driving around for hours trying to find him.
Also TRU ($20) charges $5 more than Target ($15) so I don't really check at TRU. But finding Masked Daken or either Spider-Man there for $20 is still a pretty good deal.

Just got a notice from BBTS that the case pack will have 2 Deadpools and 1 Doom instead of the other way around so that may be good news for some of you. Or bad news ;)
I just got that too! You beat me to it. I was going to post a new topic for it but this is probably better. I love that news! However unlikely...I hope it's one UXF Deadpool & one red Deadpool.

It's laughable that these aren't in Wal-Mart stores yet. The movie came out just about a month ago (4 weeks ago). These should've been in stores 4 weeks BEFORE the movie came out. I don't even want these...and it seems Wal-Mart doesn't even want to sell them.

Gone already. They must not have had many...Wave 2 has been listed on BBTS for a good 2 weeks now. HTS' price is $7 cheaper though.

Hey all! I got an email from BBTS today letting me know my preorder for the Terrax wave 1 of Marvel Legends is ready to ship! They have them back in stock. They probably don't have many cases so act fast! I've had this on preorder since April.

Sure; I don't disagree with that. People at Wal-mart don't know anything more about the store than where to clock in & out.
The fact remains that Wal-Mart does not know how to take advantage of exclusives.

I only get my info from personal experience. Most times the Wal-Marts I've been to don't even put out/get exclusives and when they do it's one case max. I walk into Toys R Us and see huge displays at the front of the store and TRU exclusives for multiple products and brands all over the store. Wal-Mart should've had these Amazing Spider-Man exclusives at least a few weeks before the release of the movie...much like Diamond retailers did with the (superior) Marvel Selects.

I've not seen Wave 3 at all in retail. Also: this wave seems to be selling horribly. Prices are super low on eBay and I've never seen a new wave be available for so long on HTS (although it's gone now) and BBTS (still there). Makes sense b/c of the lack of a BAF but I hope this doesn't doom the series.
