  1. Are the Thor & Loki bases huge? I will have to check them out!
  2. I'm not very interested in the Marvel Select Thor figures. I am waiting for that Gambit to come out! They have been doing build-a-base with the X-Men figures and they did it with the Zombie Hulk, Spider-Man and Colonel America.
  3. They told me that they sent an email (to my old account) that said I needed to verify payment details within 5 days or my order would be canceled. I've never had to do that with previous orders. Also why cancel it on April 26th rather than April 12th which was 5 days after i placed the order?
  4. Well I guess I'd rather save $35 than get a messed up order/figure.
  5. OH CRAP!!! I just checked my order status & it says cancelled (it just said Not Shipped yesterday)!! I got an email that says "Per your request we have cancelled this order." I DID NOT CANCEL THIS ORDER! Booooo! I pre-ordered them on April 7th and that was that; I never went back & canceled it. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Dang it; not cool. I emailed them back & asked what was going on.
  6. I am not positive which one was my first. I didn't start collecting til around the Onslaught/Mojo series so I started on Ebay. I think my first one was either Series 2 Human Torch, Bullseye or Series 4 Beast. Whatever was cheapest! I think the first one I bought at retail was Beta Ray Bill.
  7. That's awesome! Sucks you didn't get Dynamo but great that those ones were free! I am still waiting for mine to come...hopefully they don't mess it up. I didn't really like that War Machine but it looks great in your pics (hate that he's white & not silver though).
  8. Oh man! Mine haven't shipped yet; good to hear that some of them have started to though!
  9. The Marvel Select Hulk is great. I do agree that the face sculpt is a little weird but I prefer a Hulk that towers over everything. The Face off Hulks are great too and I even love the first appearance Hulk from the Galactus series. The new Toys R Us one is excellent as well...I just can't bring myself to pay $30 for it cuz I would just get rid of that Valkyrie. And man; that MS Juggernaut is my favorite action figure right now.
  10. Wooo i just pre-ordered Dynamo, Stealth & Initiative War Machine! Even with tax and shipping they are only $12.50 each with the SPRING20 discount!
  11. Has anyone seen the Marvel Select Gambit yet? Diamond Select's website says that he was supposed to be available on March 15th, 2011. Just wanna make sure I didn't miss out; haven't been to the comic book store in a few weeks!
  12. Got my Titanium Man in the mail from hasbrotoyshop.com yesterday! Over a week early; it wasn't supposed to ship til 4/4/11!
  13. Point taken. I don't open Marvel Selects though so they are awesome display pieces in the box. I actually did just buy Titanium Man though. I added the "Hulkbuster" Iron Man to the order & it knocked the total price per figure down to about $14.60.
  14. It's still $17 after that discount. I still can't bring myself to pay that much for this. I just paid $16.50 for Marvel Select Magneto and that's a way better figure. I wish they were $10.99 at wal-mart & tru.
  15. Whoa dude bigbadtoystore way cheaper 17.99 I got him for $16.50 at my LCS on Saturday! Everything in the store was 30% off!
  16. I will not pay that much for these. I will reserve my money for Marvel Select if we have to pay almost the same amount for figures of a lesser quality.
  17. I got him; he's awesome! I missed out on getting mine from the comic book store but I found him on Amazon for $19.99. There was no tax and shipping was free b/c I used a free one month trial of their prime shipping. It arrived the next day!
  18. The Marvel Select one is amazing but really would only be nice to have if you didn't open it. It's way too big to go with Marvel Legends. The only Marvel Select figs that go well with Marvel Legends are the oversized characters (Abomination, Juggernaut, Anti-Venom, Hulk, Sabretooth, The Thing, Thor, Mephisto, The Watcher...). The Marvel Legends Moon Knight is great and will fit in much better with your other figures. He was always one of my favorites.
  19. What is your combined shipping rate (how much for each additional figure won)?
  20. So very true. Even if you can't admit that this one is better you can at least enjoy an updated version. I still don't think this one will affect the value of the Marvel Legends one though. If it does I'll be the first to jump on a $20 Marvel Legends Juggernaut!!
  21. At least his arms don't come down to his ankles. A short abdomen makes him look stockier which is perfect by me. Also: the Marvel Select one doesn't have skis for feet.
  22. I'm actually not sure either but regardless it was a great deal! I will have it tomorrow so I'll let you know! Are you sure you are definitely going to get the regular helmeted version? I checked on Amazon and it had a picture for both. And when you click on the Unmasked version it doesn't change the order page. I was nervous about ordering it because I know that on TRU.com they don't distinguish between the regular and variants in the two-packs. You just have to order and cross your fingers and hope you get the one you want. Just wondering if Amazon does things the same or if there was any way to tell that you are getting the version you actually want?
