I actually don't think we will see any of these anytime soon (as 6 in.). We need to wait out the aweful 2009 year & hopefully the Universe line just completely bombs. I have been trying to get out of collecting (for the most part; if I find a good deal I am such a sucker!) so I can save for other things & this will make it so easy to do that! By the way I would love a Sauron figure but in order for that to happen Hasbro would have to bring back Build-A-Figures b/c there is no way they would make him a regular sized figure!
I guess to answer the question though I would love to see a new Cap with Winter Soldier variant, Tygershark, Drax (they would make him a BAF i'm sure), Darkhawk, Multiple Man, Strong Guy & Wolfsbane. I could keep going but those will do for now. And like I said, we won't see any of these until the next decade is upon us!

I could be wrong but the Punisher & Tigra's faces look way better than the last time I looked at them! I am disappointed that they had all this time though & didn't change Blackbolt & Tigra's knees & elbows.

Yeah I know! They didn't give any good answers. Every question pertained to Marvel Legends & they spun it around to be a Universe answer. That Wolverine Oringins line better not be 3 3/4".

You may have missed wave 4! I saw them over a month ago & I found saw Amazo, Riddler & Black Lightning from Wave 5 on Monday.

Yeah these figures are all over the place now in Nashville, TN. Even at Wal-Marts that I thought would never get them! At least 3 or 4 cases!

Hopefully hasbro keeps making awesome figures in the Spidey classics line once they start the 4 inch waves. They should use the Spidey line to gauge how interested we all still are in 6 inch figures.

Well duh Marvel Legends. But they aren't making many (if any) next year so I was saying in the Spidey lines sell well it could revive Marvel Legends. And I love that new spidey. I love have bright the colors are. The new McFarlane one is nice but it is too dark & too skinny & frail looking.
The Ares and Rulk lines (and 2packs?) were announced this year so I'd say it's a little early to presume they won't be making any next year.
I'm pretty sure it's common knowledge that there are no new waves or 2 packs announced after the two packs that haven't come out yet and the Nemesis wave.

Haha thanks Pooda. Even though I didn't vote for him I am very excited to see how (President) Obama is going to handle things. I love to see new things happen! Just like i love to see new Marvel Legends! (I had to tie it into this board somehow!)

They talked about his race over & over & over on all the news channels tonight. Anyways I for one am going to miss President (for 2 more months oh yeah!!!) Bush. He ruled. And if anyone thinks Barak isn't going to invade Iran or anywhere else you are mistaken. There will always be war & if we are threatened Barak can't & won't ignore it. Derr. There might be a change of President but politics is politics.

I love GW he is the funniest president ever! I can't wait to see how he spends the rest of his life! He needs a TV show! I totally voted for McCain but I am so interested to watch how Obama and the cry baby libs think they are going to fix this country. Whether you like it or not, this country will be an Obamanation. I worked for wal mart. I know how their system works. It helps to know people there, because i can ensure i get my hands on them. Every store within a 4 hour drive of western kentucky recieved 24 total figures in the ares wave. Thats 2 boxes. They came in a display box that held 12 a piece. (i took the whole thing) No shelf tags were made for the figures, or shelf space. That means every day when they go through the toy department they dont even know the products are there, much less hiding in the back. What you need to do is talk to your store manager or send an email to wal-mart.com's customer service. I used to have the same problem here with not being able to find them, always being a wave behind until I got on their nerves and they started giving me what i wanted. Now my local wal-mart gets every shipment of marvel legends on time. in some cases they get them before their street date. Lucky for me, the stocker who works third shift (when they work their freaight) has my number and calls me when they come in. I go immediately and pick them up. if there are none on the shelf.... wal mart has handheld devices called a "telzon" that keeps track of what they have "on hand" or "in transit" ask for someone to use it to check how many they have. if they have none then you're s.o.l. but i can tell you first hand that wal mart employees do not care about marvel toys, and are not worried if they sell or not. they're getting paid either way, and sometimes they dont put out the stock if it means they have to print out labels, shift things around and what not. so when they check and the system says they have some, and are not on the shelves... make them go find what you are after. if they dont, get the manager. the manager will make sure you get what you are looking for. because they know there is a number you can call (1800walmart) that can get them fired. Its simple really. talk to the powers that be in your area, and demand it.
The 2 that I found were on pegs with tags and shlef space made for them. No display box.

This doesn't explain why the Red Hulk Wave was waaaay more available @ Target than this wave is at Wal-Mart! I have seen Ult. War Machine & Human Torch at ONE Wal-Mart. I saw Red Hulk figures at all 4 Targets that I go to!

I would totally do it! If you can't pay now ask him if he can give you some time to buy them. That is a sweet deal! Last winter my friend that works at the comic book store back home sold me some of his legends cheap! Hulkbuster & Modern IM, War Machine, Hawkeye, Namor, Cable for $10 each & Phasing Vision & Phoenix for $15 each. Go for it! Unless you really are excited about the new little ones coming out.

The only thing that would get me to even consider buying these is the lower cost. I really don't want to waste time on them, but I will determine that when i see them. They might look lke butt but they would also look AT butt if you posed them with regular ML's. That's all the higher they would come up to!

I'm just gonna throw this out there because I'm not having much luck...
I'm in Canada so we won't get the Ares wave as most of you probably know. If anyone comes across an extra set and is willing to sell them to me I would be most appreciative. Thanks!
I'm in Nashville, TN and it may as well be Canada! No sightings whatsoever of this wave. I have even asked other collectors from around here & they haven't seen it either. Nashville is usually notorious for either not getting figures or not putting them out for at least 3 months after everyone else gets them but they were great about the Foom & Red Hulk wave. I found those right away! But I have given up on the Ares wave; sorry to anyone that I told I would look for & send a set. I'm not going to see it.

They should make a bunch of these...in the 3 3/4" Puniverse line. And then they should do repaints of them. And then redecos of those repaints. In fact all of 2010's line should be Marvel Apes figures.

The Red Skull did eventually have the actual skull for a head, it was not always a mask. The Taskmaster does have a mask, but depending on the artist, it sometimes looks like the real deal.

To be fair, I assumed we were talking about the original Skull since A) that's the one the toy is based off of and B) as far as being a villain goes you don't get much more badass than being trained by and working directly for Hitler - the 20th centuries greatest monster. Not to mention the fact that the second red skull is only a communist. Big deal on that front - my mom's bf calls me a commie every time I tell him I vote left.
I wasn't being or trying to be unfair; that's not the point. I was just giving the most current update on the character for those who didn't know.

My worst deal was probably Black Friday 2007 when I bought Longshot, Luke Cage, Psylocke & Zemo all for $1 each. Ha just messin; that wasn't that bad a deal I just don't like those figs. Another pretty bad deal is when I bought Ult. Wolvie & X3 Juggernaut fro $8 each. I only needed them to finish the Blob. Besides those, which aren't terrible, I haven't made many bad deals. I only look for good deals! Like Deadpool for $20 a couple months ago or Cable, Namor, Hawkeye & Hulk Buster Iron Man all for $10 each last year!
